I am relatively new to the area and I was in need of a line up for a wedding I will be attending this weekend. I decided to book an appointment here because it was on my way to work. I scheduled an 8:00am appointment with Kel and left for my appointment at 7:40 because it was just 15 minutes away from my house. I was on my way to the appointment when I noticed there was traffic due to an accident on Bollinger Canyon Rd. I called the shop and sent them an email notifying them of my circumstances hoping they would understand and work with me. I am usually a very timely person so the thought of being late because of a situation outside of my control made me very anxious. It took me 40 mins to get 3 miles but I made it to the appointment at 8:20am. Hoping they would understand, look at my hair and realize it wasn't going to take that long because I just received a haircut 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately as soon as I walked through the door I was met with zero empathy and told they can't help me and that I was 5 minutes past the grace period and I would be charged as a no show fee of $70. I believe that's really bad customer service and as a first time customer of this establishment and a new local to the area I am convinced they do not care about their customers or potential long term business. If they would have been willing to work with me or even show empathy I would have been grateful and rescheduled the appointment. Had the barber been able to understand my situation and showed good customer service it would have validated to me that this is a great place to receive a haircut and that they care about the people who spend their hard earned money at their establishment. But clearly this is not the case. read more

Felt like I had just gone to supercuts. Looking at the photos I see some fire fades but when I got my fade it was nowhere near the quality in the photos. If you are not super picky about your hair then this is a good spot but I def wont be back. I also would recommend not asking for a bald fade unless you know your barber is able to do it properly. Ángel Romero best Barber in Tri Valley by far and a gem and legend of the Bay Area. I've been getting cut from this guy for literally years, at least 4 and I'll even avoid other barbers if Angel is missing, even if my hair looks terrible, since this guy is that good. He has great conversational skills and is a guy that seriously loves what he does and strives to do it with excellence. I can't recommend this guy enough and pray everyone looking for a seriously good cut finds this guy.
