I wasn't happy with my haircut at all. I told the "cutter" not to cut my hair too short several times. He cut the back of my neckline shorter than it's ever been cut. The major problem was the cutter cut my hair very very short around my ears not to mention the cut around my left and right ears was noticeably different from one to the other. Even my wife was a bit shocked ! It's taken 6 weeks for my hair to grow back out to where I like it. True, I'm not a young guy and I don't have/want a new age haircut. Let's start off with customer service, this place has it 1000%. The moment you walk in the door you're greeted with a very warm welcome and an offering of a pint of your choice. I had the Hella Hoppy while I waited and listened to great hits that literally all age groups would enjoy. That's not even the best part, I walked in with a full head of hair ready to donate and Jeremiah took it on with a smile. On top of that, I showed him a picture of my grandfather from the 1950's and asked if he could modernize it and make it my own but still Echos my grandfather. He matched that to a T and I let him go free range on my facial hair with zero disappointment. The staff were so friendly that I felt any one of them would have been up to the task, but for me, I will always book with Jeremiah. He was the entire package as far as barbers go. My daughter took her 17 month old son for his first haircut here. Jeremiah was fantastic with him. He made it fun for him and let him hold combs to keep him occupied. He sat on my lap and it worked out perfect. I expected him to cry but that never happened. He was entertained by others getting haircuts and the TV above. Livermore Barbershop is on point during these hard/difficult times. They distance themselves well from other customers, everyone wore mask, while also having a barrier next to every chair. Very diverse with all ages being cut when I was there while also having both male and female doing hair. My son and I first experience here and it looks to be our only place to get our cut comfortably now. Glad to have found this place. Hopefully covid ends soon so I can try the coffee bar they had, while watching games on the big screen and getting a fresh cut! read more

In Regards to the new Shop and particularly regarding Ashley. I made an appointment a day prior and confirmed. The day of my appointment I called in asking if I could be 5 minutes late and Oscar at the front desk mentioned if I were 10 minutes late, they would have to skip my appointment and I acknowledged. I received a call 10 minutes later at which point I only had 15 minutes left for my appointment and the receptionist told me Ashley could not make it in because of something. I was never told that on my previous phone call with him and he had told me Ashley is all booked up today. I called in a few hours later and asked if Ashley was in and the same receptionist stated she was. This tells me they lied earlier and I ended up moving my calendar around to accommodate the appointment. Now I'm left without a haircut and also a very sour taste for the place I really loved going to. read more
