Oh my gosh - where do I start? I normally spend a stupid amount on charcuterie boards for events that look amazing and huge online, and when they come they are enough for one, maybe two people and are never worth that much money (if you know, you know). Pictures can be deceiving I guess? I needed a rushed order for an Easter gathering on Saturday, 4/19 and was super happy to find Luxe Bites as they were local and could accommodate normal delivery (vs. shipping). I ordered the large platter for 8-10 people (sure), but ran with it anyway since it looked delicious (again, pictures) and nobody else could have it delivered by my event (I scheduled delivery between 11-12). 1pm rolled around and it still hadn't arrived so I called, frustrated it was an hour late, to only find out that I had placed the order to be delivered on Sunday 4/20 (confirmed by my email confirmation too - UGH!!!). I had people arriving at 2pm! I spoke to Daniel, the most helpful, easy-going person on the planet, who said they could start prepping the platter and would deliver it right away (who does that? On a holiday weekend? When it was clearly my error!!!). And holy cow - they actually did and it arrived before my guests!!! Now I'm not suggesting this is the norm or that they could do this every time (double check your delivery dates people!), but man - Daniel saved me! What INCREDIBLE customer service which honestly - I did not expect and it was WAY above and beyond. And when it came to the "large" platter? It was LARGE, no joke, and was so beautifully made (I wish I took a picture but we dug straight into it!!!). Not exaggerating when I say that 8 of us snacked on it all day and I still have a little more than 1/3 of it leftover in the fridge for part 2 today. Luxe Bites is now the only place I'll order charcuterie boards from (they also have a ton of other boards - brunch, dessert, crudité, sandwiches, fruit, etc.), and they also cater! Daniel is a rock star and saved me from my stupid mistake & Luxe Bites stole the show. Thank you thank you thank you!!! And give that man a raise - he really deserves it. Have you ever ordered a charcuterie platter at a wine bar and been completely disappointed? I definitely have. Or wanted to make one at home, but had to buy a ton of ingredients that ended up being overly expensive and then too much to eat in time? That would be me as well. Luxe Bites solves both of these problems by delivering beautiful and delicious charcuterie boxes that are well-balanced and satisfying. The only negative thing I could say is that there isn't enough bread for all the toppings, but who wants to pay for bread when you can just grab a bunch of your own crackers? The boxes wouldn't be as good of a value with a bunch of fillers. Instead, they're loaded with meats, cheeses, fruit, spreads, and even a little something sweet. Upon unwrapping and opening the box, my toddler daughter exclaimed, "It's amazing!" And she proceeded to wear the chocolate, grapes, and even some of the cheese. It was a family unboxing. The company also has larger boxes and caters for parties, so they really do it all! They even have dessert boxes, which I haven't really seen before.
