I say "with" because they both were absolutely with us every step of the way. The schedule and commitment they made with us was as equally important to them as it was to us. We had some hiccups. No project that I've ever been involved with goes without a hitch. And our house was built in 1963, and the kitchen was last updated in 1992. So there were a lot of challenges to be met and issues to be dealt with as the kitchen went down to the studs. But Elena is a master project and business manager. And Dmitry is actual an artisan, with a team of very skilled people at the ready to do the work and handle the problems. Even when we had issues with the vendors for the appliances, Elena stepped in and worked the white spaces, smoothing over the issues and getting everyone back on track. Dmity himself literally built custom solutions real time at the work site. We had several challenges because of the way the house was initially built, and he overcame them one by one with creative solutions that were not simply kluges but are now permanent fixes that passed ALL Final Inspections. Which brings me to another point: Dmitry did all the plans for submittal to the city, and Elena submitted all the plans and permit requests, interfaced with the city for all inspections, and gave us copies of all the final inspections and permit information for our files. We paid for those services, and I will tell you it was well worth it. It bears noting that we lived in the house the entire time the work was being done, except for the 12 days when we were on vacation out of the country. Pulsar kept working the whole time we were gone, safeguarding our home, and keeping us in the loop even though we were eight hours ahead. Pulsar was not our least expensive bid. But we made the decision early on that we would not cut corners on this job. We are very grateful to have found Dmity and Elena. They were easy to work with, had respect for our property and our schedule and our budget as much as possible, and never made us feel sorry about choosing to with them. "Buyer beware before you consider Pulsar Construction in Torrance, CA"!…read more On July 15th, 2025, I submitted a request for kitchen/bathrooms renovation on Pulsar's website (including my zip code - see attached photo) on my Fusion at Southbay home. The same same day, received a response from Elena (office manager) stating "we are booked until September 21st and not accepting new project but we will put you on our waiting list". "Our team will contact you in case of any cancellations". After patiently waiting, 2-1/2 months, on September 29th, I received an update from Elena stating "Good morning Jeff!!! We are looking for a new project starting in November. Please leave us a note with the property address and your email. We will reach out to you after 10/10". So I did just that only to receive an immediate reply "Unfortunately, we are unable to help you because your zip code 90250 is outside our service area". This was very disturbing as we've been waiting 2-1/2 months and if this was known, we would have contacted another construction company. I responded to Elena "that is interesting, my home is 6.5 miles from Pulsar and clearly within your service area, per your website map". Elena replied "we can't consider your project since it is territorially located in Los Angeles". I explained to Elena, this is absolutely false as my Fusion at Southbay home with Hawthorne zip code 90250 is an "incorporated" city in LA county, the same as Manhattan, Redondo and Hermosa - in which my home literally borders MB/RB directly across Aviation Blvd. I then texted her all of the supporting screen shots (including map area of my home to Pulsar), Pulsar's website stating "We specialize in serving the SOUTH BAY of Los Angeles for 9 years". Elena, my home is in the "South Bay of Los Angeles. I requested to speak with the Owner only to be completely ignored by her going forward. In summary, my renovations would have been completed by now. I lost 3 months and have to start the entire process over again looking for another construction company. Again, potential customers - Beware of their misrepresentation and tactics!

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Shawn was easy to reach, responsive, and great to work with throughout the project. The crew showed up on time, kept things clean, and finished everything in under 5 weeks. We did new tile, vanity, lighting, and a walk-in shower, and the quality really shows. Hard to find a contractor this consistent and reliable. Pricing felt fair too, especially for the level of work. Definitely recommend MDM Remodeling if you're doing a bathroom remodel in Los Angeles we'll be using them again.

David provided a comprehensive answer regarding the leak, something the other contractors we interviewed were not able to do. He was also able to give us a ballpark number in terms of cost whereas the other contractors gave us a very large possible window. More so, David is a true craftsman and knowledgeable about all things construction wise. Not only did he repair our dividing wall, but he also helped with our front door that wasn't properly installed initially and other odds and ends around our home. Our neighbor was so impressed with his work that she also hired him. And he has since done work for family members nearby. Lastly, we also had a major plumbing issue, and David was quick to refer an amazing plumbing company. We trust David completely, and I can't recommend him enough. He is also a kind, thoughtful person which is an added bonus.

We highly recommend Pro Handyman Service!…read more I wanted to write this review because we had a request that, while not unique, wasn't that easily categorized under a common household repair category, so we decided we would look for a general handyman that would be able to do it all. We have a sliding barn door for a guest bathroom, and because there was a bit of a gap from the wall to the door, it wasn't very private for our guests, and there was also no latch on the barn door. It's a strange choice for a bathroom, but we also didn't have the budget to change the entire door. I reached out to a few pros to get their assessments, and Pro Handyman Service was not the cheapest option for this job, but they had great reviews and I appreciated that they gave me an upfront quote. The quote actually helped me to budget accordingly, and I didn't feel like there were going to be a bunch of hidden charges that I wouldn't be able to plan for. I also felt that Pro Handyman Service was easy to communicate with and they responded to my questions very quickly over Yelp messages. They are busy, by the way, so try to schedule early so you can get a time slot. Denis arrived at our home promptly and on time, and was very careful to keep the home clean by wearing booties to cover his shoes. He listened and reviewed the situation, then gave us several options based on his opinions and experience. For example, he said he could use either wood or plastic paneling to add a "privacy edge" to the sliding door, and we ultimately settled on wood for the sides and plastic for the top of the door. He had everything needed for the job and just needed to leave to purchase the wood paneling and returned promptly to do the install. He also painted and caulked the new wooden privacy edge on each side of the door. We had already purchased a latch, which he also installed while accommodating the added privacy edge to the door. Denis worked very quickly and efficiently, leaving no mess behind. As you can see from the photos, the installation looks quite neat and clean, and almost looks as if the door came that way. It was nice that he was able to cut the privacy edge to accommodate the baseboard, too. Overall, this was a very positive experience with Pro Handyman Service and we think you'll be pleased with them as well! Hopefully this review will be helpful to anyone else who is looking for someone who needs a handyman (and especially if they have a specific request that might be similar to ours)!

I had a very odd issue of an extremely shakey washing machine, which after several repair attempts led me to inspect the floor. Denis his colleague showed up to move the washer/dryer and inspect the floor, and determined it was not level (it was VERY uneven). Denis gave me several options for how to proceed. They took the time to show me the support frame under the floor and explain why it wasn't level, and what they could do to level it as much as possible. I had hired Pro Handyman Service to address the floor only, but after they were finished and placed everything back the way it was, Denis asked to see a wash cycle on the washing machine to see if the floor fixed the machine as well - it worked great, no more intense shaking! Highly recommend, and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

You're bound to find something that you like. Just have to sort through thousands of tiles that are not really organized. The tiles are also very pricy compared to big box stores. Oftentimes you can find the equivalent tile for half the price. Nevertheless, we purchased tiles for our bathroom here but bought our shower pan and edging elsewhere. Luckily, the tiles were in stock, so I was able to pick up at the Hawthorne warehouse location on 147th and Inglewood the same day. Overall, a positive experience and will go back there when we renovate our other bathrooms

Originally I called him last month to regrout outdoor stairs tile. In the course of removing the…read moregrout , he said that the underlayment was water damaged and he removed 5 treads of tile to explore and possibly replace the undergarment. It was water damaged, and the risers and the treads had to be replaced. However, he "doesn't do wood "so I had to engage someone else to replace the plywood on the risers and the treads, which I did. He returned and we went jointly to Dahl tile to have me buy some Triton water board and some red guard for waterproofing. He wanted me to use a Schluter metal edge guard as opposed to replicating the original 45° mitered edge where the riser tile and the tread tile come together in a grouted joint. That design change ( which is easier on the installer) would result in a metal half inch rim /strip running across the top of all the stairs risers . I have quite a bit of this tile inside and outside my house and it's all done in that tile edge to tile edge fashion without an intervening and visible metal strip He said he's unable to adjust his tile saw to that 45 degree angle and was not gonna be able to apply the tile in the original angled edge to angled edge configuration withOUT the Schluter edge. I asked him why he's telling me after he had removed the tile and a visit to the Dahl tile that he could not install the tile in the original configuration . He became annoyed and agitated and essentially walked off from the job site at 10am with the removed tile and 5 buckets of trash and a stack of unused triton board that I had paid for (that he did not fully install ) .,,,, just sitting there on my patio I never heard from him again. I never had anybody walk off a job site like that , especially after getting that deep into the job. Maybe he is good with grout repair ... Doubt I will ever know .

STUNNING!! Our new kitchen is absolutely STUNNING! What made this experience Not the nightmare that kitchen remodels can be was Samo and his crew. He listened to our concerns about cabinet color, style and the overall functionality of the kitchen. He never got upset and was very patient with us while we changed our minds at least once over granite, floor and cabinets. It takes a lot to trust a person to understand your vision and hope that they get it, especially since our kitchen is the center of our home and this is no small investment, but Samo got it. From the color of the kitchen cabinets to the all important granite, he nailed it. There were the unexpected mix ups but Samo and Maz had them under control and were never rude or abrupt with us when we pointed something out that needed fixing or changing no matter how minor. Even a few days after the kitchen was completed and there were some very minor problems that we noticed as we were using the kitchen they got the someone over to fix the issue within a day. It was a relief and satisfying to know that they didn't consider the job finished until we considered the job finished. His crew was professional and courteous and the materials were of a good quality. We had a new kitchen in 9 DAYS, one day earlier than Samo's estimate. We selected Luxe Home Remodel to help us redo our guest bathroom by replacing the existing bath tub with a customized walk in tile shower. Samo paid great attention to our needs and helped us with the design ideas. We were able to select the tiles, bathroom vanity etc from the great selection displayed in his showroom. Samo co-ordinated the assignments of the various groups, tile installers, plumbers, electricians etc in a very professional and responsive manner. Issues addressed were dealt timely. His team was very courteous and hard working. As the work progressed we decided to partially re-do the master bath, replace the existing vanity, install new lights, plumbing fixtures and paint and smooth the walls. I started a remodel project for my master bathroom vanity and was looking for a contractor to design and install a counter top. I stopped in Luxe Home Remodel and met Samo who immediately eased my fears about finishing the project. He was very knowledgeable and professional with helping me design and choosing the right material and color scheme to match the colors in my bathroom. The installers were expert, but also really friendly people. The final design and installation is very pleasing to me and to those who have seen the final product. We recently did a home remodel with luxe home. We had thirty days to do it and a fairly set budget. It was fairly extensive, including a new roof, painting the entire exterior and interior of the home, including all the cabinets, all new flooring, three complete bathroom remodels, updating the plumbing and electric throughout the entire house, changing out all the doors, etc....Not only did they do it ON TIME, but they came in on budget, and did a fantastic job. As is typical for a remodel, we changed our minds several times throughout the thirty day process, and they didn't blink. My wife and I were very pleased with their quality of work, and even more pleased with their easy going personalities and willingness to make changes for us on the fly. My wife and I are very impressed by the quality work done by Samo and his team on our recent kitchen remodel. We moved into our new house and added new countertops, a back splash and countertops to our center island including a waterfall. I was most impressed by the short amount of time it took them; they went from quote to contract to completion in under 2 weeks. The work was extremely well done too. 2 years ago Samo at Luxe Home Remodel gave us our dream kitchen and now 2 years later Samo delivers again with our wonderful master bath remodel. Our master bathroom is small but he managed to enlarge our shower to include bench seating and 2 soap nooks. Plus a larger vanity all in our small space. Love love the tile selections too. Let's face it...renovations are not fun but easier to put up with when you have these results. Thank you! read more

I worked with Luxe Home Remodel for a project at the Custom Hotel LAX. They did a terrific job! Out floors turned out amazing.!!!!! Look for pictures of our custom "black and white floor". IF you go to there store ask for Samo he is awesome and very helpful. I had a great experience with this company and will be sure to work with them on any future projects I have. LUXE HOME REODEL did a great job remodeling our kitchen. They took a dark drab kitchen and turned it into a bright modern kitchen. Samo had great ideas and helped us pull together a great new look. We chose Luxe because their prices and materials were good. We are pleased with our kitchen. We would put more stars and would have used them for additional work except the plans were changed by Samo several times without consultation, placing an unnecessary strain on an already stressful remodel process. read more

Nick came, talked to us, checked out the system and advised us that it looks like we are connected. It's the Tesla mobile app that likely needs updating and we're in the clear. He gave us a ton of information, didn't try to sell us anything, and did this all for free. I know whom I'm going to call next time I have a solar glitch, or want to upgrade my system. You can't buy generosity, or good heartful service. It has to be given. Nick Bar is my solar guy. He should be yours.

The scope included a full guest bathroom remodel (excluding the shower), master bathroom paint and flooring with a new tile shower, bedroom popcorn ceiling skim coating, paint, water heater replacement, new vanity and mirror, plus all associated electrical work. The entire project was completed in about two months and stayed right on schedule, which was impressive given the number of different areas and trades involved in a condo building. What truly stood out was the exceptional communication and project management from Yair. He did an excellent job setting clear expectations from day one and followed through consistently. He made a point of stopping by every week to personally inspect the progress, which gave us great peace of mind. The quality of the workmanship was very good across the board - clean, professional, and detailed. The transformation in our bedroom is especially noticeable. To keep a long story short, they make up a lot of excuses for the many errors they make. They try to gaslight you into thinking they are doing you a favor by fixing their own mistakes. They try to blame the errors on you or it "previously" being there. They claim they will work with you but when their works returned, they literally were huffing and puffing out loud about having to fix their work. I have all texts and evidence and will be filing to a contractor state license board complaint and having a second opinion on the work done. Will update review with the complaint and the details when it's done. I attached some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind these pictures are just a handful of the problems
