Numi is great and nice to work with. Luxe Home Remodel' price is on the high side relative to competitors but it has the best value. They are licensed and their crew has excellent skills (tiling, hot mop, plumbing, electrical, shower glass door, structure repair). There were heated discussions with a crew member at times but Numi always found a way to move forward to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them again when my other bathroom needs remodel. If you research how things should be done correctly, you will appreciate their work even though it may look simple. I have a shower pan leak that needs to be fixed. I vetted 5 contractors and selected Lux Home Remodel. Numi provided two options - 1). Fix the shower pan only with no warranty 2). Re-tile the entire shower with warranty. The estimate does not cover fixing the potential structure damage, which was unknown at the time. I reserved the right to hire someone else for the structure repair job after demolition but I ended up with Luxe Home Remodel even though they are not the lowest bidder due to my confidence in Numi. My wife has allergy and they have good dust control (you want to ask for this and they'll do it). After 2 months we have a beautiful, brand new shower. Wife is very happy about it. Yes, we over budgeted significantly (had 4 change orders) but it is worth it. read more

I needed new carpet installed for my condo and Karmel came over and started the process that was very quick smooth. He measured and even sent another rep to measure; which was comforting knowing they were checking each other's number. The carpet came in about a week and once it was here... The Carpenters came at 8:15, introduce themselves, ask to see the condo. They assessed the condo in 20 minutes, developed a plan and then...OMG! They remove the furnishing in less than 1 hr! Started the process from the front bed room, 2nd bed room, Livingroom. I asked the gentlemen what time will you be finished, he said 4pm and was done just before that! They work steady for the whole time, they work quiet, cohesively organized in the entire process of removing and installing the carpet. Cleaned up, return each item to its natural spot, vacuumed outside hallway, even the elevator. On a scale of one to 10, I would rate the guys a 15. Over and above average. Thank you Luxe! Karmel. Our project was a full kitchen remodel, knocking out a wall, and a hardwood floor replacement throughout the house. We had met with a handful of contractors, some were purely kitchen specialists and some just for the floors, but wanted to find one who could do the whole project and had a strong sense of design. Then we saw an ad in the Beach Reporter for Luxe Home Remodel, and drove down to their showroom. Right away it was a pleasant experience. We have a toddler who at the time we started wasn't even two years old yet, and basically ran all around the showroom like a madman. But Samo was super patient with us as we went through dozens of samples, changing our minds more than once. Samo scouted our house with detailed measurements and built a 3D model of our new kitchen. We had never remodeled anything before, let alone something as impactful as a kitchen. He helped us make smart choices, and added a real vision of the design, without being pushy at all. Some kitchen designers seem to always steer clients towards high end across the board, but not here. We were able to mix some very high end, with some less expensive products that would look just as nice. This was refreshing to say the least. The project was slated for about 7 weeks, and the budget was clearly laid out and agreed upon. The project finished on budget and on time, making our tight deadline of right before Thanksgiving. There were a few extra touches (i.e. pendant lights) we added to our design during the process, so the final total spent was a little higher than expected, but this was our choice. Did everything go perfectly every single day? No. But that's the nature of construction. There was a day where one of the crews didn't show up, but they were replaced quickly and a different crew was in to finish the drywall. The work was top notch, and the way that Samo kept everyone in line was impressive. Samo and Maz were absolutely terrific to work with. They were both obsessed with getting it right. Very professional and calm throughout our occasional fretting and changing of our minds with our design choices. With the new hardwood floors and our gorgeous kitchen, we feel like we moved into a new house. We couldn't be happier. Will definitely go to Luxe Home Remodel for any future projects. I am a big fan of Samo & his crew. He remodeled our kitchen, bathroom, installed new wood floors, and a new fireplace front in July 2016. From the 1st day of planning, Samo came into the shop on his day off, and was incredibly patient as we changed our minds on plans, materials, & design. We sat in his showroom for 4 hours & left with a visual computer image of our kitchen. Samo's crew was great. They were often late, but they would stay until the job was done. They had a great eye for detail & paid attention to minor design nuances. And, the few times that there were glitches, Samo would come to the house to examine the work & immediately send his crew to fix the problem. Lastly, its important to note that Samo gives opinions & encouragement when needed. He has a great eye for floor planning, and was able to guide us into a remodel of our kitchen layout that we otherwise could not have envisioned. That design eye was worth thousands to me, but we feel we were never overcharged. All in all, we are very happy with our new kitchen. I would like to start out by saying that I would recommend Luxe Home Remodel, especially Samo. We initially met at his showroom in Torrance (his home base) where we went over the project from ideas to design to cost to timeline. Samo was very attentive in my wife and I's design preferences. All the costs were laid out and, in the end, it went pretty close to as scheduled (we included opening up walls, and when opening up the walls, some additional unforeseen new costs came up, which is expected). Next, we met at our home in Burbank (yes, he drove out in the heart of LA traffic time to meet us after work). He took measurements, confirmed the design and we confirmed a starting date. His estimated completion time was 2 months and 95% of the work was done within this time frame. Issues arose when finishing plumbing as I had to coordinate with the gas company turning on and off the gas while Samo's plumbing team came and went but in the end, I have no plumbing issues to reporting involving any of the construction that was done. Samo was very reachable. Anytime I had questions, when calling him or emailing him, if he didn't answer right away, he would get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Even after the job was complete, I noticed a couple of small issues and Samo continued to display excellent customer service to complete the request even though he was fully paid, and his crew was done with the job. Overall, I would give Samo an A+ and would recommend him for any job someone has. He would definitely be the first call for any future work I may have. read more

I apologize for writing this review so late, none the less here it is, and I'm over joyed to be able to write it, based on what I'd been through construction wise, prior to meeting Samo and Company. Luxe Home Remodeling gets five stars. I called Samo, the owner and explained my dilemma and he scheduled an appointment to meet with me to discuss my project. Coming behind another contractor to fix is not an easy task, but Samo assessed the situation and new immediately what needed to be done according to code specification. Very knowledgeable, patient, even tempered and personable. A truly great guy!!!! Samo worked within my budget and timeline, which was very important given the fact that I had already invested time and money into a project he was coming in to fix and finish. He is a true visionary and a problem solver who knows code and construction. Has a great eye for detail too. When shopping for materials, he knew where to direct me to stay within budget without compromising quality. He was responsive to all my needs and calls, even if the calls were back to back. He'd say after hanging up with the first call, upon immediately answering the second call, it takes two and we'd laugh. He knew it was me. Very responsive to my needs. During the shutdown I had the opportunity to move to a bigger treatment room at work, unfortunately it was set up for a hairstylist and I am a body waxer/electrologist and require a lot of storage space. I have never designed my own room before let alone hire contractors... I had no idea where to start or if anyone was even working. I live nearby and was going to Klatch Coffee a lot when Luxe stood out to me, I called them first thing that Monday (sometime in May) Samo came out to see the room that Wednesday, I signed the contract same day, that Saturday they dropped off Materials and that Tuesday they started construction (Monday was a holiday) the room was brown prior with nothing in it, I had them paint, install cabinets, counters, sink, shelves, baseboards, and crown molding. It came out amazing, I love everything about it, and Samo, Amir, and everyone else involved were so friendly and easy to get along with. I would definitely work with them again if the occasion ever arises. For the 3 weeks salons were allowed to be open every single one of my clients mentioned how much they loved the room as well. We hired luxe for a complete kitchen renovation, so all new flooring, electric, plumbing, cabinets, counters, appliances, lighting, layout, etc. We are very happy with how it turned out and would hire them again if we want to redo a bathroom down the line. They didn't have a single change order or additional cost outside of the initial estimate, which was greatly appreciated. A couple of minor issues and delays happened, but they were always quick to keep us informed of the issue and resolved it without significant delay and without additional cost. Professional from day one; Samo spent multiple visits with us, selecting the exact cabinets, countertops and then rendering 3-D models. Samo really got to the heart of what we wanted the space to be; he understands function and style and puts an emphasis on giving his customers what they want. The materials are well-constructed and good quality. We selected Shaker cabinets in Ash wood and quartz countertops. They're sturdy and look built to last for years. The Luxe showroom has a great selection of materials to go through, so you can really see what you like and what will work in your home. Samo came out to our house with some the materials and we were able to see what we could use in our space. Maz is a craftsman and takes the time to finish the small details. Both guys were quick to make any changes we requested; they went above and beyond to give us the kitchen of our dreams exactly how we wanted. Samo and Maz are professionals. They even handle mix-ups like pros. There was a small mistake with some of our cabinet doors not having glass where we had discussed. When we asked, Maz immediately checked and saw the error. He came out and spent quite a while going over each room in my home in detail with regards to what I wanted to do with my cabinets and counter tops as well as some finish work (door and window casings and finally baseboards). The team got started on a Tuesday and within a week I had completely new cabinets and counter tops in my kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and hallway. Pros: - Fair pricing. We didn't have a huge project, but Luxe gave us a good quote and took our job within our budget. Other contractors wouldn't fit us in unless we were going to spend more. - Finished early, but probably could've finished even earlier if crews had shown up when we were told they would. Overall, though, they worked hard and were done before we expected. - The results look really good and are functional. We are happy with the results, which is really all that matters. - When we had complaints or concerns, they were fixed and addressed. We just had to really stay on top of it and check everything. Cons: - The communication was lacking. At one point a significant extra expense was approved without speaking with us first. We didn't feel like we were getting honest answers when things didn't happen as planned. We did not get to work directly with Samo, though. - The worksite was a huge mess. Upon purchasing my home, I began remodeling the kitchen by myself after interviewing over 8 contractors and losing faith in finding a good one. Since I planned to remodel my fireplace before changing the floor, I started getting quotes for that project as well ( I do not know how to tile to start this one by myself) and that was when I found LUXE. The minute I talked with Samo, I realized he is different than other contractors, he is honest, he knows what he is talking about and his price was very reasonable. when he saw my unfinished kitchen, he said he can also help with that project. I decided to continue kitchen remodeling by myself and let LUXE do fireplace project first. The crew that worked on the fireplace were extremely professional, very punctual and detail oriented. My fireplace remodeling was complex because it was 12 feet high, the tile I picked was very large and the wall was not straight. I was extremely happy with the final result that I decided to let LUXE finish the kitchen remodel and flooring. I wish I had met them earlier so I did not start the kitchen remodel by myself. I had a kitchen design in mind, however, Samo modified it and made it much better. I recommend trusting his advice and recommendations because you will see at the end that he is always right. LUXE crew are very professional, detail oriented and deliver a high-quality result. The project manager, Saul, impressed me the most. He cares about the project and makes sure his crew go above and beyond at every aspect of the project. The day he stepped in my place, I realized that I hired the right people for the job. He truly works as if he is working on his own place. If there was something that I wanted differently, LUXE crew would make it happen immediately. The final result is impressive, I love my fireplace and kitchen. It really looks like the ones that I see on the Houzz website. I talked with many contractors for this project and heard a lot of scary stories of bad contractors from friends and co-workers, however, with LUXE, I did not experience any issue. After years of putting up with our dated bathrooms we contacted Samo of Luxe Home Remodel. He came to my home to view my bathrooms and had a quote to me within a couple of days. His quote was competitive with the other companies that came by, and I ultimately chose Samo because he was patient with hundreds of questions that I had about the process. They started work on a Tuesday and the total job took them a little over a week. Samo's crew did a great job protecting my hardwood floors and carpeting prior to starting any of the work. ( I live in a townhome) The work is top notch. I had them completely gut my full bath and replace it with a new tub with tile surround and shampoo box, tile floor, vanity, counter top and sink. The downstairs half bath was also gutted and I had them install new tile floor, cabinet, counter top, and sink. Since I had taken time off of work, I chose to take on painting my living room and hallway while Samo's crew continued the updates to my bathrooms. On a whim, I asked Samo about crown molding in my living room, and with a couple of calls he got me a quote which I accepted and had crown molding installed. What a difference it made to my living room. Samo also lined up a painter to help me finish all the painting. I will tell you that his painter was worth every penny. My husband and I hired Samo to build a workshop adjacent to the garage. Samo was great! He's extremely patient, polite, professional and makes sure the job is done to our satisfaction. Samo was more than a contractor. He was there to assist us right from the start. He drove me around the city of Burbank to obtain permits from school district, fire, water & power, etc. It was a whole day effort yet he never complained. The project took longer than expected along with additional costs due to having to upgrade the main electrical panel, replacing the existing garage's roof, rewiring of the entire house, etc . It was very stressful but we knew we had to get them done. Samo never pressured us. He left these up to us though upgrading the electrical panel was a must. We are very satisfied with the job.
