He arrived on time every day, to the minute! Walked me through the steps on a daily basis so I would understand what he would be working on and how. He also didn't mind picking up an item that was needed for the project. That's all about Jeff. He's a stand up guy. A rare gem in the South Bay. He's warm, approachable and easy to talk to. And doesn't mind taking a little extra time to explain his thoughts and opinions on the projects. Now about his work. Wow!! He went the extra steps needed to make sure the floor tile was properly leveled and installed. My dishwasher height posed a big problem but with Jeff's analyzing it and experience, he tackled the problem. Whew! The final product is incredible. Visitors can see right away the high quality of work, ooohing and ahhing over it. His work ethic and quality of work is higher than any contractors I've met in a very long time. His professionalism will immediately impress you: always respectful towards the client, has excellent communication skills (a rare quality), and a work ethic that amazes (the guy never takes a break!). Also totally focused when he is working on your project - never takes phone calls and never gets distracted by text messages or other extraneous things. The quality of his work is excellent (see photo). He consults with you at important points during the project and will provide great feedback for concerns that you have. He even pulled the tiles to a display to show me what they looked like under different colored lighting. After some consultation, I was allowed to grab the tile sample I settled on to browse around the showroom and search for other combos I might like. He even showed me grout options (there are plenty!) They also offer services for custom tiling. I don't have a designer and I've never remodeled a bathroom before, so Richard's knowledge of current trends, molds, and flooring helped a lot with my decision making! 10/10 would recommend anyone I like to come here.

I went in today to look at slab samples. The young lady in the front showed me where to go. I was…read morelooking in particular for Dekton, she said they don't have it. But then I started looking and I saw they had Consentino, so I stared looking and noticed the racks are labeled. I found it myself. As I looked through the racks, some of the slab samples were mixed up. There was one piece that looked like the sample of Dekton I was looking for. It only has a QR code on back. Which took me to a google drive picture with no info on it. So I took it downstairs to ask what company the slab is. That way I could see more info on it. The young lady in the front went to ask another girl working there. She very loudly and quite rudely replied we cannot give out our vendors/suppliers. I was a little taken aback. I explained to her that is not what I was asking for. The slab was mixed in with the Dekton rack and I wanted to know if it was Dekton or if it's Porcelain. The only reason I was asking so I could see the specs because I needed to know the material and available sizes which I would be able to find on the actual companies sites. Not the vendor who had no information on it! She was rude and very abrasive when I was trying to explain what I had asked. I honestly felt like she felt entitled to speak to me that way because of my skin color. I just walked out and they knew I was upset because I voiced that I felt that was a very rude way to answer someone. I need to get 5 slabs for an outdoor fire-pit area, they just lost the chance to make a big sale. I would not buy anything from here. There are better places with better service in the South Bay. I would not give them my business. Especially if they treat potential clients this way. You are a business. Customers ask questions. This is not the way to respond to someone inquiring about a product.

Besides price, our other priority was a company that did not use subcontractors, and SoCal Roofing only uses their own employees, so we felt confident moving forward with them after checking out some of the previous homes they'd worked on. From quote to install, the project went very smoothly. They were quick to respond to any questions we had, and the full roof replacement was done in about three days. Timing couldn't have been better, since we got several days of rain a few days after the install, so it was the perfect time to "test" the roof to make sure there weren't any leaks. We were solid. Among all the businesses we've worked with for other upgrades to our home, we can honestly say that SoCal Roofing is one of the only ones where we have felt 100% confident in the work that they did. They are very thorough with their work and you can tell they truly take pride in it. We would happily recommend them to family and friends.

Prior to going to their place I had gone to a large carpet warehouse up north while visiting my son and daughter-in-love. Their prices were higher and while huge they had nothing I wanted. Taylor and Wendy's place was tiny by comparison, but they had almost everything I was looking for. Not only did I come away with area rugs for three bedrooms, the kitchen table, stair treads for my staircase, Taylor had a piece of in and outdoor carpet cut for my front entrance that fit perfectly! When the rugs were delivered, I found he had bound a runner from what was left of the carpet used for the circle rug under my kitchen table that gave me carpet in my hallway -- so nice! He also sent a remnant roll from what was left after cutting the front door mat. It was a pleasure doing business with them, and I will be back for more of my carpet needs.

This shade really finishes the home and the quality is superb! Same as all the others. It's not just the quality of the blinds but the quality service you get from Rudy that made this experience so great. My door was giving him a hard time but Rudy persevered and wouldn't do anything less than a quality, complete, thorough job.
