This was my first tattoo. I was very nervous. I was even more nervous since I wasn't asked about my preference on shape or color of my brows. Thank god she did not ask me because it would have looked too done up causing me to need to wear eye makeup. Leanne did such a great job on my brows. They look very natural. She said he was super sweet and took good care of her. So I went and fell in love. Not only is Todd an old classmate of mine but he is such a knowledgeable hairstylist. He works with you and the look you're going for and doesn't pressure you into doing anything you're not comfortable with. I love that he takes the time to explain the whole process. About 3 months ago I did a color correction to get my hair one color in order to do my balayage. I'm someone who likes to save money, so I've been using box dye for a very long time which led to discoloration on different areas of my hair. I haven't got to experience the joys of having Leanne or her team bless my eyes with extensions but I do get sugaring and threading done here by Saori. Love her! I've actually followed her from the previous salon she was with. She's so easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable with everything skincare and hair removal. The sugaring doesn't hurt at all if you're used to waxing but if it's something new you're trying out she'll talk you through everything. she also turned me on to facial threading which I'm so happy about because with out it I would look beastly! I used to wax parts of my face but I would break out in clusters pretty bad a couple days later. Not the case here. I decided to make an appointment here after getting my lashes done elsewhere and being unsatisfied with the inconsistency of my lash fills. They weren't bad at all, but they weren't as full as I wanted - and not as full as other friends' ones. I called for an appointment with Jenn Kim and got a phone call back within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. She was very sweet and helpful over the phone and inquired who I would get lashes from before and that she would have to take a look at my lashes, but could definitely take me in. Her schedule was pretty booked up, so the soonest I could come in was a couple weeks later. I parked in Waterfront Plaza (Restaurant Row) and they validate parking. Oh my, my lashes were pretty bare a couple weeks later and was so excited to come get them done by Jenn. My appointment was at 4pm and I walked in at 3:50 and noticed she was working on another client and amazingly finished her, had me sign some papers, and had me on the table at 4:05. Talk about time management! We chit-chatted a little bit about my existing lash experience, what kind of lashes I wanted, etc, before I totally fell asleep. I guess their awesome playlist lulled me to sleep. Their shop is so clean, so comfortable, so gentle, and they're so sweet! If you're looking to get quality eyelash extensions, I recommend this place. I've tried other eyelash salons (Suki's, Kristin Wood, and the deadly $30-a-pop eyelash places) and Luxe Lashes by Leanne is significantly better all around. I've had my lashes done by Jenn Kim and Eve, who are both excellent and very friendly. They make you feel comfortable on the table and are both quick with their lash application. Speed is something that I desire, being that my bladder is the size of a pea and I always have to get up to use the bathroom. During one session at another eyelash salon, they made me lie still for 4 hours straight. Impossible if you have a pea-sized bladder. But Jenn and Eve are quick when applying a full set and the quality of their work is impeccable. If you've never experienced what a quality eyelash salon can do, you need to try it. I know $250-$300 sounds quite scary and ridiculous, but it is worth it for the quality you get. I used to spend $30 to get eyelash extensions, and it was a poor choice on my part. Basically, you pay for what you get. If you want your eyelashes to look like an arthritic spider is sitting on your eyelid, well then go right ahead and go to the cheap salons. But if you want to look and feel beautiful, with light feathery FULL eyelashes that you can't even feel, then come here. Make sure you schedule an appointment beforehand, and follow their directions to eyelash extensions carefully. I love Leanne! I started seeing her in March 2011 because I wanted lash extensions for my wedding. I loved having them for the wedding because I didn't have to worry about false eyelashes falling off because of tears and they looked great in photos and our video. After getting them done I just can't seem to live without them. I moved to Kauai this year but I fly back every two to three weeks just to get my lashes done. There are places on Kauai, but my trust lies with Leanne. She is knowledgeable, patient, and professional. I have barely there lashes so I love the look that the extensions give me. Leanne takes her time to attach each lash extension to your real lash being really careful. I have sensitive eyes that are irritated easily but I have never had a problem with the lashes because Leanne is not only gentle but everything is sterile and clean as well. After you get them done, you can sweat, go swimming, and pretty much go about your daily life. The part I love best is not having to worry about putting on strip lashes or mascara daily. After posting this review, I was contacted by the salon, given a chance to explain my experience, apologized to, and offered a chance to have my lashes fixed. I was definitely hesitant at first, but the salon co-owner was very genuine and persistent so I decided to book the appointment. My appointment went well. It wasn't awkward or uncomfortable. My lashes looked great, but overall I don't think the volume lashes are for me. They didn't last as long and had more noticeable fallout, which I was warned of by their staff (because I workout/sweat a lot). Sometimes I feel like I'd come and hangout just for the music. ***After she was finished and I sat up, I was blown away by how awesome my lashes turned out. I loved them! The quality of her work is OUTSTANDING, which brings me to talk about the... ***...price. LLL's extensions are on the pricier side but they are seriously seriously seriously worth it. I promise. I've experienced multiple lashes glued to one extension before (at another unmentionable place. omg it was so painful! never again) and Jenn has never put me through such agony. As a first time mom of a crazy almost-two-year old I often find myself running out the door only to realize I forgot to get myself ready! Why would you want to? They are going on YOUR EYES! Do yourself a favor - pay a little bit more and get the quality (and cleanliness) you deserve. Full Service - Leanne has extended her place to include so many more services - it's one stop shopping!!! You can go and get sugaring, threading, microblading, hair styling and makeup - just be sure to make the appointment! You may not have heard about this but its called "eyebrow extensions." You are probably what WHAT? Eyebrow extensions? Yes I said it, eyebrow extensions. I had my eyebrows tattooed twice within in about a 4-5 year span and I wish I never did but thanks to Leanne and Jen they do amazing work!!! You can not even tell they are extensions. They last about 2-3 weeks depending on how oily your skin is etc. I go every 2 weeks to get them redone. Love it!!! read more

I absolutely love the extentions. I had a newer employee work on my lashes so it took a while but she was very thorough. When she finished she had Leanne check them to make sure they were on well and facing the correct angles. It was soothing to lay down while doing these extentions. The last time I had extentions done with a Groupon for a company in Hawaii Kai I had to sit a while in a salon chair that reclined back so thus was a treat. Because the girl was training she asked to take pictures of her work so I let her. It's nice to go to a place that specializes in eyelash extentions..and because of that they were very particular about how it is done.
