Yay! Found my go to place for my sugaring needs! Sugaring is the best for your hair removal needs. They are located in the Alan Wong building. If the bottom level door is locked then you have to go to the 2nd level parking area then take the elevator up. I really liked the place, its very zen and comfortable. I emailed Randi for appointment days and times and she responded very promptly. I scheduled a brazilian sugaring and arrived early. Randi was able to start my appointment right then and there and it was great! If you are doing any hair removal down there, always be prepared to have some pain (haha) but I believe sugaring does not hurt as much or is harsh as waxing. And if you sugar on a consistent basis then hair grows back slowly and not as coarse. I definitely am a fan of sugaring. Randi is super nice and friendly! I mean sometimes it can be uncomfortable for someone to be down there and it can be a little sensitive (haha) but she makes the experience very nice. I found this place because my cousin and I needed more deodorant! Big fans and exclusive users of TLDYEU (The Last Deodorant You'll Ever Use), we could not find it at Kokua Market (our usual retailer) but saw online that you could get it here at Sweet Dreams. I called and Kelli got back to me quickly and I was able to make a quick sale - and forestall running out of deodorant! My friends and co-workers thank you! Lol! While I was there I took a look at their service offerings and saw that they are open 7 days a week by appointment! Wow! My daughter and I have been looking for a new brow place in town - our go to place is in Ewa and is not open on Sundays, so making an appointment requires lots of time and planning. Kelli had an appointment right as I was concluding my sale, so I went ahead and requested an appointment by email after I left. I received a follow up email from Kelli saying she doesn't work Sundays so Randi would be getting back to me - and she did! We set an appointment for the following Sunday. Randi gave us particulars on available area parking, so we were well prepared. Randi is very professional and friendly, making you comfortable right off the bat. She asked if we preferred threading or waxing - we were both comfortable with either - but when she heard that I was going back to work at the Woman Expo she recommended threading to reduce redness. As others have said, there is free parking in the building (you either go up or down the ramp). Before 4:45, parking is free. After 4:45 there is valet parking. There are also metered stalls on the street, which is where I was able to find parking right in front. I was looking to get a full face wax, so I spent a LONG time researching a place that had good prices AND good reviews. Almost everywhere else I looked up charged anywhere from $45-70 for a full face wax. Kelly only charges $35, and she is THOROUGH. A full face wax is pretty much exactly how it sounds. Waxing of the whole face to get even the tiniest of baby hairs. She literally got everything! I requested for her not to touch my eyebrows, as I'm very picky about my brows. I've gotten a full face wax only once before, but this time around it felt so much more thorough than I can remember. She really takes the time to make sure she gets every little hair. Yes, it's painful, but it's waxing! I really loved how she designed her space. It was a very relaxing environment, and also very clean. It's a 2 hour package that completely relaxes and cleanses you. I was soooo happy with it that I immediately rebooked for my next facial at the end of my service. I really like Maria because she's not afraid to go to battle with your face. Extractions aren't pleasant for anyone, but why get a facial if you're gonna leave all that gunk in your pores right? Ok so I had been a dedicated researcher for facials, and this is my honest review for individuals like me who is seeking that ONE place you want to go back. Randi is....just amazing. She examines your skin well, cleanses, extracts, moisturizes and simply takes good care of your skin. Her best asset is her massage that she gives you while you are relaxing. I looove how she spends enough time for the shoulder/neck/head massage unlike some other places that barely touch your shoulders and say it's done. Her price is $75 for 75 minutes, but I would honestly pay more if she asks. It's really worth it to me, and when I say this I am being genuine bc I had paid over $200 for 60 minutes facial before and it was nothing close to what Randi can offer. The one that got me to actually book an appointment was Sweet Dreams. I don't know why though. It just seemed good. I booked online and even on such a short notice, Kelly was able to book me in and oh, my, she was really nice! And fun to talk to! The salon was in the Alan Wong's building and it's free parking as long as you sign in at the elevator. Her salon is in one of the rooms in the building, and although not so big or anything, she had it maintained very well. There was a small pond-like water feature and nice lighting, with a touch of aroma. You would forget that it's King St right out side! Kelly and I talked most of the time and we found out that my pole fitness instructor was Kelly's long-time friend! I guess that's not rare living on an island, but that sure made me feel good about Kelly! All services require appointments, so that's nice to have when I need to juggle several to-do's in one day! read more

Kelly not only does an awesome job, she is always friendly and fun to talk with! Let me just start off by saying that if I could give 6 stars I would! From the moment I emailed Kelly to schedule my first appointment I have had nothing short of a great experience. Being almost 28 weeks pregnant at the time, I understood that my pre-pregnancy routine of using depilatory creams "down there" was no longer a possibility and I just couldn't bear the thought of taking a razor to my nether regions. After lots of thought and a little persuasion from a family member that is an aesthetician I decided to do some research and find somewhere to get my first Brazilian wax. Being nervous about the whole process and knowing how some establishments can be, I thought to myself "if she calls me back I'll go ahead and do it, if she doesn't then ill take that as a sign that its not meant for me". Low and behold, she called right away the next day and we scheduled an appointment. She had to schedule me a couple weeks out because of her schedule but if nothing else, the fact that she was so full was reassuring. Kelly even gave me a reminder call the day before my appointment, something my doctors office doesn't even do, lol. The location is convenient and parking is a breeze in the Alan Wong's building or on he street right out front. The salon is small but it is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The only wait time I had was from arriving early because I did not want to be late and miss my appointment and Kelly took me in right on time. Kelly showed me to a comfortable room and gave me instructions and told me what to expect. During the entire process she explained what she was doing when we weren't chatting and laughing. I felt like I was talking to an old friend and at times I even forgot that I was laying spread eagle, pants less in front of someone that I had just met minutes prior. As anyone would expect with waxing, some sections hurt more than others but it lasted only moments after the wax was removed. I was referred to come here through a very close friend of mine because she utilizes the services here as well. She booked my appointment with Randi. With so many great reviews, I was really hoping to get a great experience from these people. Unfortunately, they were nearly impossible to reach. My situation was one where I needed to get a walk-in appointment for a Brazilian. I couldn't see much on their mobile site, so I tried to call them, left them a message asking if I could come in for a walk-in, and that I'd even be right over when they opened, but didn't get a reply. I tried calling a few more times to no avail, so I decided to show up, hoping that they just might be able to squeeze me in. When I got there, I noticed that the parking situation is terrible. They're in a suite of a building owned by an extremely strict property manager. You have to sign in with your in/out times, your vehicle make and model and color, and your name and license plate number. Additionally, the parking stalls are super small, and if you're over the line a tiny bit, then you run the risk of your car getting towed. There isn't any other place to park though, because this is Honolulu, so you park there. Also, there's a dumpster in the corner which stinks. But back to the actual place. I go to the office, which was supposed to be open at 9am, but there was no one there. They had some pamphlets though, and when I opened it, it said they were open Mon-Sat by appointment only. It had a phone number on it, so I tried to call it, and got no answer. Left a message saying that if they could see me by 9:30 or 9:40, then I would love to give them my business, but if I didn't hear from them until 9:45 (I called them at 9am, when they were supposed to be open and in their office), that I'd have to go somewhere else, because I have a meeting in the afternoon. I also saw an email address, where I sent an email through my phone explaining the same thing, and then I just sat and waited, scrolling through my phone looking for someone else who might be able to help me. Also, the bathroom doors were locked, so even though I had to pee, I couldn't do anything about it. At 9:45 I found another place (Beyond Bare at the Ala Moana Mall), and they actually answered their phone, AND had me booked for an appointment for 10:05 am after a 30-second phone conversation. Sweet Dreams called me at 10:20, while I was already getting waxed. Sorry, but when you've got a potential client trying to reach you, and it's supposed to be your business hours, then you should answer your phone. Plus, you should listen to the voice mail/read the email that says that I would go elsewhere if you didn't get back to me by 9:45. Don't call at 10:20 trying to secure an appointment. No idea what their service is actually like, but if it's anything like trying to get a hold of them, or having them get back to you, then it can't be good. read more

Maria is AMAZING!!! I moved here almost a year ago and I am very picky where I get my Brazilian Wax done. Maria makes you feel comfortable and she is very professional. The facility is super clean and relaxing. Since I get a Brazilian Wax normally it's super painful or takes forever because I have thick and coarse hair but she some how makes it quick, easy and not as painful as expected! This was mine and my friends first facial experience. We found Sweet dreams on yelp, and I was very persistent on scheduling with Kelly and Maria, they were very good about working around the schedule to set up a back to back apt for my friend and I. We could only get the express because they wouldn't be able to book us for another month if we did the 1 hour. so we got: Express Facial 30 min. - $40 Personalized mini facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, extraction (as needed), specialized masque, toning, moisturizing and sunscreen. Pure relaxation ensured with a face, neck, and shoulder massage. I have to say, my BIGGEST and it was the BIGGEST disappointment for me was waiting for the neck and shoulder massage, even one of the face...we both had none of the above. She kept leaving the room for minutes at a time, all together Id say, we both had about 15-20 mins worth of facial, the description did not accurately match what we recieved. yes, our faces felt refreshed and smooth, but I would have rather gone somewhere else, and got my full monies worth, rather than just a mud mask, n some lotion read more
