A team of two returned the following week. They were courteous and kept their workspace tidy, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, they handled my quartz countertop very roughly during the installation and chipped it in six different places. What was most disappointing was that no one acknowledged the damage or apologized. I noticed the chips immediately after they told me the job was complete and they had left. They also left quite a bit of silicone dripping and smeared on vanity sink surfaces. After I reported the damage, I was disappointed by the follow-up from the manager. Rather than offering a partial refund or covering the cost of having my quartz countertop professionally restored, their only offer was to use a $15 repair kit. The manager eventually came out to apply the patch, but a cosmetic DIY-style repair is not an appropriate remedy for damage caused during their installation. The repair is still visible and does not restore the countertop to its original condition. While the team was polite and initially very responsive, the missed same-day commitment, damage to my countertop, lack of accountability when the damage occurred, and decision to patch the chips instead of covering a proper professional restoration ultimately outweighed the positives. I wanted to like them, having a reliable trustworthy plumber is an asset, but based on my experience, I can't recommend their services.

Adept is not adept at all. My contractors subbed out plumbing to them and literally everything they…read moretouched they messed up. It was a very simple job just installing the tub and the tub and shower valve. First they somehow neglected to connect the drain when they put in the tub. This obviously caused a leak when I first used the tub and damaged the closet ceiling and walls below. They installed the valve handle improperly so it was sticking way out from the wall and tried to tell me that it was within manufacturers tolerance. I looked it up it was not within tolerance. They finally came back and corrected that but then they billed my contractor for coming back to correct their previous mistake. They initially agreed to pay my contractor to fix the closet damage but then ended up just swapping out their final billing, which included the overcharge, so my guy was shorted and Adept got off too easy on the damage repair.

All of this after hours and with a level personal care and compassion I wouldn't expect from a big company. I truly felt valued as a customer. My plumbing repair was complete and new water heater replacement in place by Friday night - delayed only by waiting on the water damage contractor and my homeowners insurance.
