Just had a manicure and polish, and the price was great ($11 for a manicure with no extra charge for polish). It was speedy too. I'm very happy with how it came out as I just wanted to experiment with nail shapes. The length is slightly shorter than I wanted, but that's my fault for not really knowing what length I wanted. A few of my nails are slightly uneven on a close glance, but does that really matter? I also appreciate the no questions about why a young man wants to have pretty nails, not that I expected questions. The only reason I'm taking a star off is because this isn't a place you can go to talk to your caretakers, as they don't seem to speak English very well. It could just have been the woman that served me, however. It might be an issue if you want something specific or someone to talk to. Otherwise, this is great for the price and service! read more

DON'T GO. - Extremely rude staff - The quality of the products they use is extremely poor - Excessively expensive (considering that the products/service they offer is terrible) Fact: I have always been obsessed with nails and know everything about this subject. 1st Time: I tried the "normal" gel manicure (like nail polish but lasts longer). After two days, three of my nails were already cracked and the gel started disappearing after one week. This has never happened to me, after leaving a professional nail salon (gel manicure should last at least three weeks). Price: $50 2nd Time: Hoping they would do a better job, I asked them to apply tips (=fake nails) because I wanted my nails to be longer (like they used to be, before they cracked). Price: $65 After one day, one nail broke and after two days another one did. I went back to show them and they applied new tips and powder gel (I used the powder gel this time, even stronger and more efficient than the nail polish gel). They charged me $10. Went back home, the same night, two other nails broke. You can imagine my frustration... I spent $115 for poor quality products, terrible service and, icing on the cake, extremely rude staff: they treated me as if I was forcing them to do my nails! AND they even had the courage to charge me an extra $10 for fixing a job THEY didn't do well in the first place. I can't get my money back nor my time, but I really hope you won't make the same mistake. PS: I have lived in 6 different countries and have been to thousands of nail salons. This place is absolutely gorgeous and the wonderful as well. One woman was rubbing my shoulders while the other was doing my manicure, and the whole atmosphere is relaxing. I live in NYC so I go to a small nail salon close to my house usually, but this one is exactly the kind of place I'd go to weekly if I lived closer. She did such a wonderful job on my manicure, it was for the Fourth of July, so I used the CND weeklong polish, one hand blue and one hand red. So cute. The salon just opened 11 days ago. I was a walk-in and taken right away. Had a regular manicure and pedicure. The woman who did my nails did a great job. Very clean, they have single use sterilized nail tools and lined the pedicure tub with a single use plastic bag. As a opening special they are giving out a coupon on services. read more

Selina does a great job at both manicures and pedicures. She is very friendly and my gel manicure lasted 2 weeks. I came back for another gel manicure and a pedicure. Just be careful with the gift cards, because you will still owe tax. Other than that, I highly recommend! read more

This place was so great I had to write a review the minute I got home. The salon is so clean and sophisticated on the inside, and I was treated so well that I was bracing myself for high prices (but wouldn't have minded because the experience was so great). But prices were totally standard for a gel manicure. It was the quickest gel manicure I've ever had and looks to be of high quality. She put on two light coats of the colored polish, which I appreciate because gel manicures can often turn out really thick with the base and top coats. She also used tools out of a freshly opened sterile pack, which was really impressive...not just taken out of the steaming/sterilizing machine. I will never go back again, this is my second time here. First time I came for a quick pedicure during my lunch break and I couldn't even dry my nails because they took an hour for a simple pedicure. Then today I went just for my eyebrows, I should've gone to my regular place but I had no time and this place was close to work. First in the 15+ years of doing my eyebrows I have never had someone not clean up the i between my brows. She just did my brows and said all done and when I asked her to clean up the middle she looked confused. She didn't trim my brows and completely missed a whole line of hair. I have an event and it's just horrible. They shouldn't let inexperienced people do customers eyebrows. So annoyed. read more

I have been getting my nails done here since they opened but one day I went to get a mani & pedi and the technician was mean and rough while doing my feet. Throwing them around and moving them in a rough manner. When I said something she kept whispering to the manicurist sitting next to her. Then came my hands, rough and also throwing them around. As she was working a group of women who don't look like me came in and she just threw the polish on and could hardly get me to the drier in time. I was appalled and told the manager and she said she would fix it but I do not feel any justice was done. There was no apology by the manicurist and when I could take no more I walked out and not a word was said. Hit or miss. Depending on which woman helps you will determine your experience. Michelle seems to be the rudest employee. It's not relaxing when you have to monitor wether all your nails are the same length and shape after cutting and filing. If you ask me if I want my cuticle cut and I say yes, why do some nails techs do the fake cut and clean? I do go here all the time for convenience, but today may be my last! Staff is over all rude. The owner who was not in today and the shorter haired woman are the only ones who are hard workers and seem to care. read more

I had an amazing experience at Luxe. I received a pedicure, and it definitely one of the best pedicures I have ever received. The atmosphere is modern and relaxing. Though they were pricey, you get what you pay for and I am extremely pleased. The facility was so clean, and fresh. Though I received the basic pedicure it still came with a 10 minute foot massage and paraffin treatment. Almost a week later and the pedicure looks great!
