Every time I show them what I want, they do exactly that and always take their time to make sure everything looks perfect. The service is always so good and everyone is super patient and welcoming. I was in the area preparing for an event last weekend and really needed to squeeze in a manicure. I chose this particular place mainly for its location being close to one of my errands stop. I walked in on Friday around 2pm and man this place was popping! A nice gentleman assured me they could get me in soon and sure enough I didn't have to wait long. Tara was my tech for my French dip. She was not very talkative but very efficient and skilled. I didn't get cut at all which if you know me, you know my pain with this issue. They were quite busy but everyone seemed to be working together and the flow was smooth. There were staff members walking around and ask if anyone wanted a refill from the bar. Very friendly and welcoming. I did notice that they were no TVs anywhere and I kinda wished there were. Overall, I would come back if I ever need a manicure while back in the area. read more

I've been coming to magnolia on and off for the past three years and I've never been disappointed with their customer service or quality of work. Today was a busy Saturday on a holiday weekend, so I was expecting to wait for a bit but I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes! The front desk associates were hustling and their hard work didn't go unnoticed. The ambiance is really clean and pretty as well which I always enjoy coming back to. Today Angie did my service, I got a pink and white full set acrylics (French). I'm normally hesitant to ask for French because they don't always come out the way I like, either the shape is off or the French itself is lopsided, but Angie took her time with every step. She asked if I wanted a more nude or pink base (to which I responded pink), showed me three different pink acrylic powders to choose from, and she hand painted the acrylic on my nails with a white gel polish. The wait can be long depending on when you come since this place is popular. I tend to get either a gel or dip manicure and regular pedicures. Called in the morning for an appointment for two sets of pedicure. The appointment was scheduled for 2:30pm. Showed up for my appointment, the place was crowded. My wife and I sat for 20 minutes waiting before leaving. Why schedule an appointment when it's not going to be honored? Looks like walk-ins were seated before us. I do not recommend this place; I will not be returning. This place was crowded and chaotic. Save yourself the hassle and time and go to the Princess's Nail. As much as I hate leaving bad reviews this one is warranted. My nails look fine but the cleanliness and infection control is horrible. My finger was cut by a drill bit and then the drill bit was put back in the container to be used again, without any kind of disinfectant. My finger was still bleeding when she put the top coat on so blood got on the brush and then put back into the bottle to be reused. I hope this isn't a standard practice here but unfortunately it seems like it might be. Be aware! Watch your service provider and make sure they are taking the proper precautions. read more

Most excellent pedicure by Sey! This place is so beautiful, extremely clean, well run by management. They have quickly accommodated me each time I have been there. Prompt, friendly greeting each time I enter front door. Immediately taken care of, set up for appt. Sey is friendly, efficient , very gentle with my feet. I am very ticklish. She manages to never make me jump. Massage is perfect, polish/shellac very precisely done. I always fall asleep while Sey works so hard. So glad to have found Magnolia, I'll be back again and again. I sent my teenager here to get prom nails done and while they looked great, they were not honest about how much it would be. They up charged her for everything. So just be aware of that if you go. This was a lesson learned. I do not think these are 100 nails. But I do think they did a good job. She did ask pricing but when she got her receipt they added a 20 fee for something they did not discuss. read more

I've been coming here off and on, I find someone that does my nails really good and then they leave. I have found someone that I really like so I've been coming back. Every time I come for my nail appointment I'm either asked if I wanna add on a pedicure because they're running a little behind. (I completely understand because I come from the beauty industry but this is not how I would handle things. Sometimes I just say okay, sometimes I say I'll wait. Well no matter what I am still waiting that "10 minutes" to even start the pedicure. It's a little frustrating. I asked the manager if he could start the hot water so I could soak my feet and he said they're coming "right now". It took the 10 minutes I was waiting for my nail appointment for them to finally come and start the hot water. My nail appointment started 25 minutes after. During my pedicure the lady set her timer for an 8min foot massage, I swear she didn't stop looking at the timer. She was in such a rush. I'm a busy mom with a husband that is on active duty and when I take the time to get them done I want to feel pampered. This is the reason I hardly even get my toes done there. All I'm asking is focus on your clients and their needs. Anyone would rather be waiting with a hot water soak than nothing. I'll only come back to get my nails done. read more

I normally have an amazing experience but I'm so disappointed how my nails turned out. I went in wanting pink and white dip, and I was convinced by the guy doing my nails to do ombré. I thought "ok let's mix it up".... I'm so upset with how they turned out.. the tips are GREY... not white... this is far from ombré... never again letting a nail tech change my mind on what I want. My husband got a pedicure and the woman who did his feet scraped the top of his toes with the callus scrubber causing a bad infection on several of his toes. YOU REALLY NEED TO BE AWARE OF ELDERLY PEOPLE AND THEIR FRAGILE SKIN!!! It seemed like the staff member was rushing through us to get to a more lucrative tab. We also noticed that you did not seem to make sure each technician was using sterilized instruments???? I saw one woman take clippers out of the pocket of another one and go onto do a procedure on another client. We are used to salons where all instruments are sterilized before using on anyone. Your salon is nice, but I felt rushed and like you were herding us through....not that relaxing or fun. We are on day 6 now and finally had to the doctor for an antibiotic. read more

Not sure why this place has a lot of good reviews. Spent way too much money and it's not worth it. Usually when you get your nailed done most places massage your hands and even give you a small back massage. This place didn't do anything with your arms or hands. I was charged for the length which my nails are short. Will not come back here. I know a lot of places that are cheaper and they give you an arm massage and back massage for the price of just nails here. Not worth the hype and money imo. Going to respond this this response and every nail place I go to HAS a bar this isn't the only place. And how can you talk to anyone when it's so cramped in there. the worst experience ever. I wanted a french Gel. when I sat down I showed the picture I wanted, the lady told me you can't do Gel it has to be Dip. then she brought the receipt before starting saying it'll be $68. She started on my nails and then I complained about one of the nails not being straight, with saying anything she grabbed my hand cut the nails and said someone else will be with you. another tech came in, I showed the same picture and she said this needs special design (it's just french). she brought the new rece and it was $81. I ended up telling the manager everything that the first tech cut my nails with anger and just left my hands in chemic until the other lady showed. I told the manager that I will not be paying for service and just clean my nails I will go somewhere else who are transparent.Very rude technician, the manager does not care at all. stay away from this place read more

Short and sweet (much like the dank Long Islands here): I've been here multiple times with friends and I hate it. Chicks like going here because they have a bar (crappy drinks, but you get 2 small ones for "free") but honestly...with all the money you spend here, just go to another place and THEN just go to a bar. Sister really wanted to go here Thursday. We got two pedicures and gel polish. Tom did mine and he kept calling me Jerry and being weird. Water was too hot. I asked him to add some cold in. He said to just "give it a minute." Ummm....no? The "luxury" pedicures are seriously no different from the basic one. He forgot to do the parrafin wax and hot stones. I reminded him but by the time he got done doing my gel polish (extra $20 here for it btw) my sister's was done. Look....if I pay $150 for two pedicures, they'd better come with Alexander Skarsgard rubbing me or something. I came home and the gel polish already chipped and my heels still look dry. Wow! What an experience. Bar at the front, you get two drinks included and then you can purchase more. My husband got a Long Island Ice Tea and mom and I both got wine. They didn't have the bottles that were on the shelf, but a red box wine that wasn't very good at all. Mom switched to champagne, I switched to a Long Island. They ran out of ice at the bar as well....these reasons is why they didn't get 5 stars. Friendly staff, clean environment...they wipe down every chair after use. They specifically have someone that walks around and cleans. We made an appointment for 4 for pedis. They did a fabulous job. Polish looks fabulous. I also got a Nexgen dip that looks perfect. They were the correct shape and not overly thick. The design I got was completed carefully and turned out just how I wanted it. The prices were comparable if you don't get the luxury pedi, but so worth every bit. Will definitely return. read more
