She uses a cane for mobility and arrived during a heavy rainstorm. The salon manager watched her struggle to enter the salon with her umbrella but made no attempt to help. When she politely expressed her disappointment, he responded that he was not her "doorman" or her "slave" and told her to leave. Her technician, Ann, kindly apologized and helped her to the pedicure chair, but the manager continued shouting that she had to leave. He then came into the pedicure area, pointed at her, and stated, "This is your last time here." No customer--especially a long-time patron with mobility challenges--should be treated with such disrespect and lack of compassion. Ann was professional and kind, but the manager's behavior was completely unacceptable and has permanently changed our view of this salon. SEE PHOTO

Van was incredibly rough on my nails, he used the coursest nail file and totally shredded down my…read moresidewalls and created hangnails that he left pulled out. He was holding my fingertips up against the bottles and didn't wipe his own gloves so I had gel polish and topcoat cured onto my skin that he smeared lotion over and then tried grinding off my skin with the course nail file. He didn't talk the entire time (except to turn around and talk to the other people working) and didn't pay attention to the timer on the UV lamp whatsoever so my hands cured at different times. He filed down the ends of my nails after the top coat, which made them look gritty and unfinished. My gel manicure cost $40 which was absolutely insane. My mother got a pedicure with Tracey and she loved her, and I could tell she was a lot friendlier and more communicative. The music was some uncensored hip hop music full of curse words and slurs. I don't know why on earth they picked it.

On Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, I went in to enjoy a relaxing pedicure before my upcoming cruise on Sunday. Sadly, the experience was far from what I had hoped. My appointment stretched over two hours, during which I was attended to by three different technicians. At one point, the second technician had to leave to assist another customer, which led to a frustrating 45-minute wait without any nail polish being applied. To make matters worse, I was simply left sitting there. The only thing I received during this delay was an extended chair massage, while I watched the woman next to me being tended to by the technician who had originally been assigned to me. I clearly communicated my desired nail color to Cody, the first technician, and reiterated my choice again to the second one. However, by the time the third technician arrived, I could no longer find the reference image I had initially provided due to the long wait. Consequently, I ended up with two coats of baby pink polish, which was nothing like what I had originally envisioned. The woman beside me, who my second technician began serving, actually received a full pedicure and waxing before they even thought to address my toes again. This occurred after I had already been in the salon for over 30 minutes, which left me feeling completely overlooked. It was clear to me they weren't accommodating walk-ins effectively. All I wanted was to get my feet polished. The overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Furthermore, the pricing was confusing. I requested a standard pedicure without gel, but was told that would incur an extra charge. This is concerning, as it felt like unexpected fees were being pushed onto customers. On top of that, I didn't even receive the foot massage that is usually a part of the pedicure until I specifically asked for it from the third technician. This oversight truly took away from the relaxation I was hoping to achieve. I ultimately paid $38 and left a $10 tip, but I left feeling frustrated as the salon didn't offer any form of concession for the trouble I endured. To top it all off, when I got home, I discovered a cut on the side of my foot and realized that the callus removal had not even been completed. The owner Thomas and his wife arrived around 30 minutes before I was leaving. They attempted to appease me with excuses for the technicians' performance, attributing it to a breakdown in communication. Their absence during my appointment left me uneasy about their dedication to customer service. Ultimately, the experience did not meet my expectations at all, and I have no plans to return.

After living in the neighborhood for almost 2.5 years, I finally tried out Bliss with one of my…read morefriends. We booked an appointment ahead of time for 4 pm on a Sunday. When we got there, we were greeted by the receptionist, and it was relatively empty in there. We had both booked for gel nails and then picked out our colors. Their prices were more than what was indicated online, so it was $40 for gel and then an additional $15 for catseye polish (note they do not have the magnets for designs, so it's just plain catseye). This was done on our natural nails. My experience went relatively smoothly and very quickly. I had Tina, who completed within 20 minutes of starting, but I'm thinking that may not have been a good thing. My gel nails usually last for 2 weeks or so without chipping or peeling off, but these were chipping by day 5 and about a week in, one had peeled so badly that my nail snapped in half. My friend was not started on til i was almost done. Her nail tech switched halfway through as well, and another nail tech came by and made rude remarks about her hands twice, saying that the nail design she wanted would look ugly on her. The nail polish needed another color to help it show up the way it looked on the display/bottle, and there was a lot of back and forth trying to get that right. In the end, they were able to figure out a way to get it to look right, but that added an extra 40 minutes to her nails. The receptionist was great and helped advocate for her to get the correct shade. I like the convenience of having a nail salon within walking distance, but I think I'll stick with my usual unless these things change. It's not worth the money for early chipping and rude remarks.

Everyone there was so nice and friendly, offering us wonderful treatment and taking care of our pedi needs. My daughter, niece, and I came in having made a last min appointment maybe 2 hours before arriving. Although it was a busy Friday and all of the nail techs working on someone, somehow we were seated right away and bought drinks to sip while we waited for 2-3 techs to free up and take care of us. There were plenty of colors to choose from, I'm guessing all organic products were used as there weren't any harsh fumes present. I will definitely come back!

She was great and did a nice job on my legs and feet. She has strong hands and wanted to ensure she was applying the right amount of pressure while she was massaging my lower legs and feet. She put large slices of fresh cucumber on my legs then massage the mushy cucumber into your legs (see attached pic: left leg has cucumber slices on and right leg she had already started massaging the cucumber/juice). I loved that! Pedicure consisted of clean up, callus removal, mint mask, hot towel wrap and massage again with "butter". All the items seemed natural and smelled great. She also did a nice job in the color application. Will be back!
