I came here because I was given a $100 gift card for my birthday. I was looking forward to a relaxing pedicure and time to myself. The tech was sweet but the whole situation felt off. She only spoke Spanish and seemed very inexperienced, like they brought her and another Spanish speaking tech in for extra help...all my anxiety brain could think about was whether or not they were being taken advantage of. The massage chair was horribly uncomfortable with the massage balls jabbing into my back. They did give me a pillow when I complained. The facility didn't seem clean and the spa lotions they used were in plastic packets that smelled cheap and looked like they were from the dollar store with fluorescent pink gel squeezing out. I did give the tech a large tip because I had an expensive gift card and just hoped they keep all their own tips. I still have some money left on the card and should have given the girl the whole balance because while I thought I might return, I was too weirded out by the place to go back. read more

Big MISTAKE!!! I got my lash extensions here by Vivian on 6/12/21...as we started i mentioned that my eyes were itching & burning she (Vivian) placed a little fan to help cool them off as my eyes watered. She proceeded to add the lashes, I allowed; who knew I'd be allergic to the glue. Once we finished my vision was blurry once again she gave me the fan to cool my eyes and they did. Finally, I was able to look at the lashes, they looked good. As my evening went on my eyes became more irritated. Awakened about 3am, my eyes were stuck together, washed my face. Awakened about 5am eyes are stuck again, same thing at 7am now the panic really kicks in because I see "crust and mucous" in the corner of my eyes. I vigorously rinsed my eyes with cool water and cool compresses. I called the spa (Le Nails, Elkridge) When they open expressed my concerns they got me. The owner comes into the to let me know that I had an allergic reaction. Vivian comes in to tell me the same; she proceeds to take them off. My eyes were literally on fire. I told her they were really burning as I laid with my eyes cover with glue remover, plastic and tape. I cried! She washed them with a mousse. I asked for atleast half my money back; the owner said no I can get the lashes redone a week later. I declined...why would I ??? She offered to give me a gel manicure instead because "she doesn't refund, Vivian did the service she needed to be paid. It didn't matter that I didn't have what I paid for. Less than 24hours I had to have them removed. Kindly she stated again "I don't refund". Next day my eyes were so red and swollen I had to visit the Optometrist who informed me that not only did I have an allergic reaction but also a "chemical burn" from the removal. $302.00 later dr visit and prescriptions.. I do have my eye site! I called the spa right after my dr visit to inform them and the gentleman says " ok, thank you ma'am for letting us know" . Disappointed... Not one of them called me ever to check on me or my vision, this is over 2 wks. I guess they got paid..on to the next! Mistake was allowing the nail technician to do my EYELASHES. Vivian, does great nails though. Lesson learned the hard way. read more

I went here for nail dip. I get my nails done ALL the time- I usually go to Bliss in Elkridge but I went here because it was very close to my place. The technician LIN? was the most terrible woman I have ever encountered. First, I saw her get up from a pedicure after rubbing another client's feet then came straight to my station to do my nails. (she did not wash her hands). Then, instead of soaking my nail dip powder and waiting to remove it, she was very impatient and started ripping off the polish with clippers. It was painful, and THEN she ripped one the tip of my natural nails. I was appalled because I know from experience that you have to soak off nail dip powder, not rip it off- that damages your natural nail. After she ripped off part of my nail I was in shock and did not want to be there anymore. She denied she did anything wrong and said my nail was already broken! I said I was leaving and she DEMANDED that I pay her $10 for the polish removal. I was appalled because she ripped off my natural nail and now was demanding payment with a terrible attitude. The manager ended up trying to rectify the situation but still insisted I pay $10 for the removal, so he removed the rest of the polish for me, and I paid the $10 and left. Before I left, she made sure to yell at me that I needed to pay the $10. She was very very rude and should not work here. I went to the nail salon after a LONG day of work to have a relaxing experience and to leave with beautiful nails. Instead, Lin ripped off part of my nail because she was impatient and then had the worst attitude and demanded that I pay her instead of trying to help rectify the situation. I try not to complain or leave bad reviews, but I would NEVER EVER go here again and I recommend that no one else go here. read more

They did not tell me that a special polish was $20 extra, the soak off that they charged me was literally acetone in a dish that she reuses. Then there was the fact that she did not do any skin/cuticle removal at all. I had to explain the steps of doing the gel overlay correctly... that really shouldn't be a thing - especially with how expensive they are! Never going back. Do not recommend! read more

The salon is beautiful and the staff was courteous. They have a good selection of colors and options and all supplies were sanitized well. I wanted this place to be my new nail joint (I currently drive a distance for nail service) and was excited about the opening! I'm sad to report it was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. The gel polish turned out just fine, but I was bleeding on both my fingers and toes from rough treatment with the cuticle clippers and the pumice. Both services were rushed even though no one else was in the salon. I normally try and give businesses a second chance, but I will not go back here. It was just that bad. read more

Most of the staff at Le's was wonderful, however my technician made the experience negative. I asked her to cut my nails and my first two requests were ignored. I asked a third time and she cut my nails, but they were noticeably uneven. When I asked for change, she gave me the change, but then tried to take the change out of my hand. My first and last time going here. I was using a gift card and trying to relax and enjoy time away from work. There are two parts to this visit, my initial nail tech for my pedicure (she may have been the manager) was welcoming and relaxed, I was then handed over to another tech for my hands, I think it was Cherry or Sherry. I had to keep reminding her of what I wanted because she would start doing something else that I did not ask for. Each time it got more expensive, oh that will be $10 more or oh that will be $20 more. I spent The 2nd part of this is that there was a lot of personal drama going on with and I do not know if they were employees or family of the owner. But note to the business, keep personal matters outside not inside where everyone can hear. It's very unprofessional. The granddaughter got upset when a client came in and she had to take care of her. I was thrilled by my first appointment at Le's. I LOVED how clean and professional the staff were; I watched as they opened sanitized metal tools and BRAND NEW files for my pedicure. I got the Spa Pedicure and just a regular manicure, and I'm really happy with my results. The nail tech that helped me out was very professional and detailed, and even with regular polish, my nails look really opaque and neat, like gels. The staff was very friendly and talkative, and it was a really comfortable, fun night out. I'm exciting to keep coming back and see what the reward system is like--if you sign in with a phone number, you earn points each appointment that will eventually culminate into money off a service! That's a really unique feature I haven't seen at any other nail salons around here. I'm definitely coming back, and definitely telling my friends about this place. read more

Go here after I work since its super close to where I work and they are really great! They all have masks on and are following all covid guidelines which is a huge plus. The lady that was doing my nails was the owner and she was very nice and my nails looked really great! I've been getting my nails done for about 25 yrs and have witnessed how the level of service has steadily devolved while prices have DOUBLED Immediately following the covid pandemic. In Addition to my perception of questionable customer service, the time commitment, etc. getting a full-set began to feel like a chore instead of a reward for myself. HOWEVER, then I discovered Le's Nails & Spa! This salon changed my growing apathy towards nail salons.The owners are warm and gregarious. The receptionists are welcoming. In addition to The rates for services being competitive for the market, they STILL offer discounts (coupons/rewards) for being a returning customer--almost like they value you for choosing them or something (imagine that!) I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately had a not so great experience. Its very close to my house so I popped in one day for a gel manicure. The place was clean, nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. However, 4 days after my manicure the gel began to FALL OFF. Like pop off my nail. I thought maybe it was just old gel (which is strange because the individual who did my nails made a big deal about how the gel was brand new.) I went back and they agreed to do the manicure over... 5 days later the same exact thing happened- I even used a different color all together. The owners are dedicated to a good experience and understand good customer service. 3. The staff is friendly and will either talk or allow you to enjoy your services in peace (or you can join in the general banter like you are part of the family). 4. You can book appointments online or show up and they fit you in. 5. There is a rewards system that earns you loyalty points and $ off. I get a pedicure and dip manicure every 4 weeks (yes, they will last that long if you take care of your hands - gloves when you are going to be cleaning or doing yard work etc.). Living in Harford Co., I depended on reviews and online presence when looking for a salon near my mom. Le's was a winner from the get go. Great reviews, great photos, and I was able to book online. During these Covid times, a website hit is equivalent to a "walk in". Great first impression and easy booking. I was in! Mom and I walked in to the salon, and it was easy to see that they were not just following Covid protocols, they had made what looked like professional and permanent commitments. We were greeted, and our temperature was taken within seconds. Everyone on staff was wearing mask, regardless of where they were. In fact, they were all wearing them correctly! Inside was clean, spacious and very organized. I noted in my appointment request that I was bringing my mom. That note was actually read by a human. They didn't even ask our names, they treated us like we were a mother/daughter duo regular. Kept us on the same schedule and near (safely) to each other. Conversations between us and our nail techs were fun and light. It felt like a great "visit". As far as our mani-pedi, awesome! Both of us are very pleased with our nails.
