A picture is worth 1000 words. I went in to have acrylic nails removed. I was passed around through 3 people. The first person chopped my nails back on one hand then proceeded to pry the nail off. I have vertical splits in my nails and was concerned it would damage them further. When I asked to soak them, the first person left. A second man then used the Dremel tool only on the hand that was yet to be touched then left. A third woman came over and brought acetone and asked me to soak both hands. All the while they were speaking in their language. The third woman dremelled her way to my nail then asked me to pay before she finished. I tipped her 20% and she proceeded to paint my very short nails. Take a look at this 41.00 manicure. Clearly they do not want return business. I looked at prices before I came in and it was supposed to be $25 for a fill and three dollars each for replacement of 2 nails. They came out super thick on several of the nails and odd shapes on a couple of them and it just looks unfinished and it looks really bad underneath because he didn't clean them up at all. So technically it should've been $37 but not the $50 that I was charged. Did tell him that he needed to fix a couple nails and he just kept saying it'll be fine it'll be fine. It's not fine and I probably won't be back. You should be charged what it says on the website or change the prices on the website because these nails are not worth $50. read more

Roe the Hispanic lady with green hair started to prep my nail and she was being pretty rough and not paying attention cause she was on the phone the whole time. I asked her if she could be a bit gentle cause she was drilling my natural nails and this upset her and she got even more rough on my nails. The lady working next to me noticed that I was in pain so she asked someone else to work on me. This upset Roe as she was yelling different things. The other lads and the gentleman who worked on my hand were nice. I just don't understand why Roe treated me so badly from the second I sad down. This was my first and LAST time visiting this shop. I went with a friend for her birthday. We both got pedis (I got gel she got regular) and manis (I got dip she got gel). My friend had to complain to the owner while we were there because her nail tech was rude, and didn't acknowledge her concerns about the polish on her skin and he refused to fix it and actually did a shoo motion at her with his hands... The owner then fixed her nail polish but there were still places that needed filed and such. My dip on natural nails, didn't last more than 3 days. We got them done Saturday and by Tuesday one had the tip completely chip, and ALL of them have lifted. So after spending $176 BEFORE tip I now have to go get my nails redone for a graduation because I have 2 completely missing tips and every single nail has lifted from the cuticle and edges. Don't waste your time or money. I also noticed they didn't use new/clean tools coming out of the package like my normal place does...If it wasn't my friends birthday I would have walked out of this place!! I asked for simple one color short coffin but what I got was square but was charged for coffin. The art was terrible. Only if James would have said that he can't do it I would have picked something else but he said he will do it then did a trash job. I asked for one small heart and this was the third try and still looked terrible so James offered to put stone one but he didn't forget to charge me extra for it. I paid $70 for this and had a awful experience. Asked for fresh set, instead of acetone soak he pried them off with a corner of a plastic and his nail which hurt as much as if I had pulled them off at home. My 11-year-old daughter and I came here as a treat for a manicure and pedicure. We made an appt beforehand and only had to wait a couple of mins once we arrived. My tech was efficient and friendly. They take their time and allow you to enjoy the experience. The tech who did my daughter's nails was also great. She was patient with my daughter but also clear. They took 35 minutes to do 2 simple nail replacements with gel. An experienced nail tech should have only been 15-20 MAX. Then my two nails look like crap. If i wasn't in a rush i would have had them fix it. I had two different girls who must not normally do nails. Like i said if i had a lot more time i would have had her fix it but i didn't have another 20+ mins to waste on only 2 simple nails. I decided on a whim I wanted a mani/pedi for Easter and found LuXe Nails. They quickly got me seated even as a walk in when they were incredibly busy. Lisa gave me an incredible pedicure and I appreciated the fact that she also gave me a towel to cover the top part of my legs as my dress was a little shorter than I realized. A different lady did my manicure and she was great also. My nails look fabulous, though I didn't like the up charge for a callous service when I wasn't told before it was done that it would be an additional fee. Overall I will go back though! read more

I am in town for work and to beat the hotel rooms blues, I decided to go to the salon. It seemed decent and was in range with the usual prices I pay. I requested a basic pedicure. While she was doing my toes. I asked her to address an ingrown toenail on my big toe. I have always asked for this and it has never been a problem. Imagine my surprise when I saw there was a 10 dollar charge for that on my bill. She never told me that when I asked. I feel 45 dollars total plus a tip for a 30 minute basic pedicure without proactive communication is not worth it. I do not recommend and will not ever go back when I am in town. read more

Immediately upon walking in all you can smell is acetone , normal for a nail place but this was dangerously strong and made me feel sick after 10 minutes. Had made an appointment for 3 and we were sat together quickly but then only 2 people were working with us so the third sat there waiting for 25 minutes. The staff was friendly upon arrival but didn't really make conversation which is fine just made for a quiet time. While my toes look nice I did realize when I was drying that only half of one of my nails is painted but there was no one available to grab and fix it. Lastly the place was a mess. The lady who did my nails was really nice. However I asked for gel and she kinda pushed me to pick dip which I've never used. Unfortunately I don't think she did the dip correctly. As I picked a flat blue color with no sparkles or texture or designs, and the finished product has alot of white specks/dust and random kind of "scratches." My friend says that she thinks she either didn't use enough color or didn't buff correctly, because the nails were just supposed to be a normal uniform blue. On top of that, at check-out she just reached for my card without showing me the total. And she had never told me the price of dip - I guess I could have asked myself, still weird though. I also think that she left some of my old acrylic on my nail during the removal of my old nails :( I feel bad leaving less than awesome reviews, but I didn't have a good experience here this time. (When making an appointment it asks what you're getting done). They were busy and we were seated late and separately... The nail tech rushed through my nails. She painted over the lint from the towel which left a bubble on the nail. She painted my skin and kept leaving to assist others. The nail tech doing my friends nails was the manager and didn't finish her nails because he was also assisting everyone else besides her. Once finished I waited 40 more minutes for him to finish my friends nails(we both got regular gel paint, no gel mani which is $35). Please note the prices online are not correct, they charge for every little thing. You're seated in a chair and the table is still dirty from the previous customer. Service is getting worse but more expensive. I've been going here since Dec. 2020. My go to tech is Lihn. For the past two appointments, she has cut me (once when filing my nail roughly and the latest when she was trimming my cuticles)--both times I was bleeding. Also, I don't know if the products need to be replaced but this last visit, I've only had my dip for a week and I'm already experiencing lifting and chipping which normally is not the case. Ok I've been visiting Luxe nails recently and the first two visits were awesome. They even provided me with a discount. The last two experiences I had have been pretty shabby. I went on a Thursday and was seated almost immediately. I told them I'd like dip powder. The woman that started my nails seemed very apprehensive but she continued. Over the course of the appointment the tech kept having to restart and sand down the coats she was putting on my nails. She finally finished after over an hour and asked me to inspect them and I was very unhappy. They were very splotchy and one didn't even have the shiny top coat over it. I told her my concerns and her manager came and asked me if he could redo them and I told him I didn't have time. They told me to come back and I did on Saturday. On Saturday I told them what happened and the manager/owner said he would comp them on Thursday but that wasn't relayed for the Saturday staff. Rosie did my nails and she was very proficient in the dipping powder. After my nails were finished I went to the counter to pay and they had a check in offer but when I pulled it out to pay they stated that they weren't accepting them... I was really trying to give them a chance but I now seem pretty turned off to them. Hope you all have a better experience! read more

Loved this place! My usual spot was packed so I decided to give this location a try and I'm so happy I did. You walk in and sign-in then a staff member will check your temperature. Once that's done you immediately wash your hands. I got a pedicure and she really took her time on me. Not only was it not rushed, she made sure to keep reheating my water when it got cold. It was like my comfortability was her top priority which I loved. My toes came out perfect. She made sure she found the perfect dip powder to match the gel on my feet. I actually found this nail salon on the Yelp app, set up my appt on their website, ended getting my nails as well as toes done on Friday November 6th @5pm. Walking in I had to sign my name in their book, front desk staff took my temperature at the door, then I went over to the sink to wash my hands. I ended up getting the jelly luxury pedi with gel polish, gel manicure. So, while getting my toes done in the spa chair, they have divider stands, it's already too close, you better not have a big bag, or miss your step since to me it felt like a hazard, and I understand their going by the COVID-19 regulations, but those stands are too close together when it's barely enough room to get down especially if you're a thick woman. I ended up getting a jelly pedi due to the fact I actually thought it feel more jelly like, especially the color, so when the when the nail tech poured it in it was a very little substance on my feet, and legs. Last, time I got my nails done was this past May, I think getting my nails done was overpriced. So, since I had the jelly pedi with gel polish, and gel manicure. My total would had been $97, but I used the %10 discount once I had checked to the nail salon on my Yelp app. With, my 10% discount I paid $87, the nail salon is in a great location shopping area.
