Incredibly grateful for Marine and her husband in making me feel most beautiful on one of the most special days of my life by working on my wedding dress. For some context, my dress was bought as is from a sample sale. As someone who is is not very tall in height, the dress visibly needed hemming. The wonderful team of Luxury Alterations successfully and beautifully hemmed my dress to my liking without losing its integrity. Even with the inches taken off from the front of my dress, they were still able to allow a beautiful train in the back which looked beautiful as shown in the photos. Additionally, I also wanted to be able to move around during my wedding dance and reception. Marine suggested a 5 point bustle that allowed me to move around and dance comfortably throughout the night. And she did it beautifully without making my dress look frumpy. It was like wearing two dresses for the price of one. As a budget bride, I was worried about cost as many times the price of alterations is as much, if not more, than the price of the gown. Fortunately, I was quoted a very fair price that, to my delight, was less than the cost of my discounted dress. Khachik and Marine were the dream team for me. I brought in my wedding dress to have the bust taken in significantly and I knew it would be tough since my dress had quite a bit of boning. They did an amazing job! In addition to taking in my bust, they also hemmed my dress, added in a finger loop so I could "bustle" the dress at the end of the night, and made some alterations to my skirt including tightening the wait and removing buttons. Both of them are very kind and honest. I had some ideas for smaller alterations, and both of them gave their advice for each item I mentioned. I had multiple fittings, and each time the process felt collaborative which isn't something I have experienced with a lot of tailors. I never felt like they were trying to rush me, upsell me, or take advantage of me - on the contrary, my maid of honor brought a dress to be taken in and they advised her against it after pinning the dress to show her how the fabric would be affected with the alterations. Their prices are also very fair for the quality of the work and the time and attention they give you. I'm so glad I trusted them with my wedding dress and as a result I felt beautiful on my wedding day.
