I called for a quote on a simple shortening the hem of 2 Jean skirts. Neewin asked me to bring in skirts. So I did bc he couldn't give me a quote over the phone. While he did a good job, each skirt was $60 to shorten each skirt a few inches, AND it was done by machine. Both he and Heather were very nice, but I thought at the time that was excessive. I didn't do my research and check other alternatives in the area. $60 to shorten each a couple of inches on the machine, maybe 15 minutes maximum....(1 picture of hem from the underside, it's going vertical 4 some reason, the other one what u can see from the outside, going horizontal....) The machine did do a good job, but $120 for 2 skirts on a machine is excessive.... read more

I went in to Neewins shop with a general idea of what I wanted to do to my suit (shortening hem, shortening suit jacket arm length) but Neewin gave the tailor process some extra touches that really helped the suit shine. Neewin is very attentive, listening to my opinion and inputting when he needed to. All the while being very professional. Price wise it is a bit on the expensive side, but in my opinion it is worth it. It will be a suit that will serve you for years to come. The ONLY place I will bring my items for alterations! The team here is not only so incredibly kind but they are so knowledgeable when it comes to alterations! I purchased an intricate beaded dress from eBay that kept unzipping on me. I brought it in and they told me they could replace the zipper. It is very difficult to find an experienced tailor who knows what they're doing. Neewin is that person! My son is getting married and I found a beautiful dress that had to be shortened and needed a hook and eye placed in the too-deep v-neck. Neewin was very friendly and professional, took the time to explain what he planned to do and why and executed with perfection. He used matching thread to hide the hook and eye so you can't even tell that it is there. How many times have you noticed one that shows? Not this one! I have already recommended him to my friends. One of them, who is a clothing designer, has already used him to shorten some leggings. She said he has the right equipment and really knows his stuff.
