I've done the hard research for you. The part easily could have been ordered directly from the manufacturer, but unfortunately, the manufacturers customer service department was impossible to deal with, which forced my hand to find someone local. This particular part absolutely is something I could have done without a repair person but here we are. Yelp has a project feature, so if you haven't used it before it definitely is a tool that works. You search for the service that you need, and what needs to be done, answer a couple of very easy, quick questions, and then click the button for estimates. Next thing you know, you'll be receiving text messages, phone calls, and all of a sudden you were going to be everyone's best friend. Depending on the service that you need, this will either be incredibly helpful, or make you feel overwhelmed. Needless to say, after speaking with more than a half a dozen appliance repair companies, and being put through the ringer and bombarded with phone calls and pushy people either demanding I'm making an immediate appointment, or refusing just to have a conversation with me, I decided on Top 1 Appliance. Here's why: They were absolutely the most reasonably priced for the service call and the work that needed to be done. They were not pushy on any level, and that made a huge difference. They were willing to come out the same day if I had time at no additional charge, or my case found another day that works for both of us. I knew this would be an easy and quick repair, and less than 20 minutes, the repair was made, and the repair tech was paid and on his way to his next job. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I had wanted the old parts left, and the tech wasn't willing to do that which did not make sense. Top 1 is incredibly easy to deal with, and I should also add that they reached out to me before the repair, they simply asked if I had found someone or if I still wanted their help. Seriously that easy.

He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. Me being in the service industry myself i know this was not a factory pump it was not an LG box it had no part number on it it look like it came out of a damn amazon locker!!!!!! for goodness sakes! if i amazon that pump its $25 I called them furious I let them know this is illegal to have these kind of mark ups!!! Per the California state Attorney General any business in the state of California is legally allowed a 33% markup on materials. So I don't care if you're selling groceries and you're on the biggest grocery chain in the industry you're still only allowed a 33% mark up or if you're selling liquor or cigarettes at the corner store you're only allowed to 33% markup however I was charged 185 bucks for a $25 pump out of an Amazon locker. They assured me they used a factory replacement pump and priced me per the blue book Here we are 10 months down the road and I wake up to my wife telling me our laundry room is flooding the washing machine just drained all over the floor Of course we mop and clean all that up and I called another technician from another reputable company I explain that the pump is replaced about 10 months ago however it was aftermarket......
