First things first, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! My sister and I had come by 2 different times as walk ins and they were booked completely for the day. Second, they know their people! While I was sitting there for the first time (after finally making an appointment), the customers around were all being called by name, conversations about things they've talked about prior, it was such a great change of scenery. Now, to the nails. They do natural nails here. I wasn't sure if I wanted oval or almond, and Chino worked on mine for about 2 hours to fix the way they looked from the last place. I had tips and they were so thick, he got them down to looking natural and did a slim/skinny oval shaped (first pic with the light pink/white and glitter) SNS powder. The next time I got more of an almond shape with maroon and rose gold glitter (my husband was wearing navy blue suit with maroon tie for wedding) and Angie did those. I'm on exactly 2 weeks today of the maroon and they still look awesome. I would definitely recommend them, they are great at what they do, easy communication, very pretty and relaxing vibes, well priced. BIG FAN. My nails weren't the issue. They actually ended up looking cute! However, I guess the male tech that did my manicure was having a bad day and didn't want to deal with me. I will admit that I came in on a day that I was extremely exhausted with barely any sleep as I am currently 38wks pregnant and working fullTime. I wasn't hearing the tech very well and it took me a second to respond to his questions. He proceeded to insult me calling me "slow" and getting irritated at me for not moving my hands out of his way fast enough. He also commented about how dry my hands looked...an issue I'm aware with and already feel bad about. This just made me feel even worse about myself and I was doing my nails precisely to feel a little better about my hands being destroyed from sanitizing my hands constantly at work. I've never felt so humiliated by someone in my life I felt like crying but I pretended nothing was bothering me. I even gave him a pretty good tip. Needless to say, I won't be back. He took his time in applying, shaping , and finishing of my nails. The final result was nothing less than pure perfection. A beautiful stilletto shape with a swaroski rhinestone design. After two weeks there was no lifting or chipping and my crystal rhinestone design was still intact. They offer many services and designs at reasonable prices. I got an acrylic set for $25 and filled for $15 for a basic acrylic set. Making an appointment is highly recommended especially on the weekends. I requested to see Chino and I'm so happy the girls at my salon recommended him. I've always had an issue with my nails lifting since I'm a hairdresser, the water is rough on them but I know they aren't going anywhere. He took his time and listened to what I was saying. When I got there Thursday I knew I couldn't do the pedicure because I was pressed for time, but also because I had run 13 miles on Sunday and had two new blisters.
