The way this nail tech played in my face and charged me $130 for some uneven nails and the cat eye is not even done correctly. I showed him the length of my nails in the shape and he said what's wrong. I'm always clueless as to why they figure out that they can't tell whether or not the nails are straight or different shapes, overpriced, and bad attitudes. This was my last try. Welp, I did it! Called (1350hrs) to see if they are taking walk-ins, the male advised I needed an appointment (Pedicure and overlay). So I made an appointment for (1430hrs) was early so I understood I needed to wait a little. Cleanliness: needs a lot of work, the stations were dirty. I WATCHED a lady get up finished her service and threw next female sat down to be serviced. Not spray, no wipe down nothing! After my Pedicure I did notice the male cleaned the bowl before putting someone else there. At the tables the towels look like they could be replaced or deep cleaned. I don't recall seeing and cleaner for the metal instruments used. Pedicure Service: I can't understand the cost associated with this service. Didn't clean the feet, only soaked in extremely hot water. Used the scrub bar three passes on the foot to remove dead skin but never looked to see if there was dead skin (this part hurt since there was no dead skin). Well nails clipped and shapped were nice. Cuticles were cut as well, this was the best part for my service beside the three rubs on each foot. No real foot massage. Moving right along to the nail care service, I can't say this was a manicure. Nails filed and cuticles cut, nails soaked in plain water. Then I was requested to wash my hands with no soap (ma'am said that again, so don't wash my hands just rinse them....smh), I asked for french manicure tips for my polish. Welp, no overlay but I was given gel polish. She took her time to get them perfect lines. However, paint was everywhere on my fingers after (photo) Please note I walked in with healthy long nails (she noticed my nails and thought they were french tips already), she filed my nails to my skin so now I have SHORT nails. This has me annoyed! Cost: unreal this place is over priced for the level of service provided. $105 for both services, yes I gave a tip. Just know that tips are paid via cash app or venmo, this was weird! Overall: wasted money and overcharged for services yet I won't return nor recommend this place. Thought I'd treat myself for my birthday. The lady who did my nails was kind, patient, and thorough. Im trying to grow out some my nails that broke so she shaped them to match the rest. Within the last year I've changed to this nail salon as my go to, having had a few bad experiences at others. Here they always do a great job with the dip manicure, staff is kind and efficient across the board. I usually have a different person each time and can't complain. I popped in for a gel pedicure... my chair massager was broken. Disappointing, sure... but uncomfortable, too, with the roller ball in the middle of my back. Now, the staff strongly focuses on racking up the charges with add-ons and they have a hard time listening to what the customer actually wants. Instead of trying to make a repeat customer out of you using genuine customer service, they seem to only care about the current visit being as expensive as possible. Then, the service it self lacks skill and attention to detail. Only a few of the nail techs there actually know how to do nails. So you take your chances as a new customer. Overall, you'll spend a minimum of $65 dollars on a basic manicure and pedicure and likely end up wishing you did them at home or elsewhere. Skip the trip. Ok, this is. Revised response. After a few DAYS of having my nails they began to chip and my French tip, the white at the tip, began to chip and flake off. My toes stayed perfect but, my finger nails didn't. I don't do any hard labor or scrubbing of anything other then dishes and the usual for this to happen. I just wanted to get pampered for a day so I got my nails done but, when I do my own nails at home they last me a very long time without chipping, flaking or lifting. My nails began to lift off my natural nails. Which was super disappointing. The leg massages were awesome. So that's a plus. But, over all as a mail tech myself,... I'm kind of disappointed honestly. the attitude was awesome !!! The inside was beautiful !!! It smelled so good and they allowed me to pick my own scent for my pedicure which smelled HEAVENLY. But, my nails were the main thing for me since I where sneakers for most of my days during the week. I ended getting some water in between the nails and my natural nail and they just kept popping off randomly while I was at work or at home but, not all the way. I had to file down a lot of chunks on my nails. Once I took it all off is when I was devastated. Because I saw that they had heavily damaged my natural nails. Went to spa today and I was shock on extra cost. The prices is already high and on top of it , try adding 3% for using your card . You pay for a full set of nails and then you are charged extra 5.00 for them to be cut down plus 3% . If you want to get cash out ATM to avoid paying cash . The young guy who did my pedicure was very nice and personable. He talked me into the upgraded pedicure and I had to ask multiple times what the difference was because everything was very standard. I had to remind him before he polished that he never used the pumice stone (one of his selling points of the more expensive pedicure was callus removal!) he used the pumice stone all of 5 seconds! I had to ask for lotion at checkout since my feet felt more dry than when I arrived! I've been coming to this chop shop for a few months now, but today was my breaking point. I just want to say, please take your money where it's valued. There's absolutely no reason to be paying $$$ to individuals who don't value & respect you...especially my black/brown folks. The disrespect I faced in this shop on 10/7 is absolutely not okay & I would hate for anyone to have to deal with the same issue. I'm striving to keep this as short as possible- 1) I had an appointment for 9:30, wasn't seated until 9:50..cool no issue.. ( even though they had zero customers and 4-5 workers running around the shop like chickens with their heads cut off) 2) Towards the end of my pedicure the "nail tech" completely left to go service someone else...after waiting about 10-15mins while watching her start doing a new client's nails..I finally said something. Her response was prompt, but...girl, finish the job before starting someone else. Is that an outrage request? (There was also a gentleman next to me who had to physically get up and walk out during his service due to their negligence.) 3) While getting my fill-in you could visibly tell the tech was getting overwhelmed ( not being able to get my nails correct) he would start the design and remove it..this happened multiple times...So I finally spoke up & said lets just try something else ( just trying to make his life easier) so boom I showed him another pic. My oh my...my issue isn't not being able to properly do designs (because let's be real..most nail techs who work in salons can't do designs, you have to go to the ig techs for that) BUT DON'T SAY YOU CAN DO A DESIGN WHEN YOU KNOW DAMN WELL YOU CAN'T... my nails were so awful and poorly shaped HE HIMSELF offered to just remove them..which I agreed.. you can tell he wasn't expecting me to agree lol. He then calls over the owner and this man just starts arguing with me and I was so shocked and confused as into why this man is raising his voice at ME when all i said was I didn't like the shape..yall when i say arguing..i mean arguinggg! It got so bad to the point I had to tell him to please stop talking to me...because one thing you aren't about to do is try and take me out of character. He took a look at my hands and immediately began fixing the shape so aggressively, for his greater good I had to just keep my mouth shut..can you imagine yall even with me not speaking to him and allowing him to do his thing.. THIS MAN WAS STILL TRYNNA ARGUE!!! I finally just called my sister to keep me calm and so I didn't have to hear anything he was saying. Came at 9:30 and didn't leave until 1:30- my service was a simple fill in and pedicure. read more

I walked in and made an appointment. On the day of my appointment they told me I wasn't in the book but they would do my nails for me. I told the guy I was speaking to it was him who I made the appointment with. He immediately laughed then started apologizing after I had already been there for 40 minutes waiting. I got a gel set and a pedicure. Both services were fine they did a good job but as other reviewers have stated this place was not clean at all. They reused all of the tools. they didn't wipe any of the stations or chairs and they didn't clean the bowls for the pedicure station. As far as my manicure went, everything was amazing! I got the perfect shape I asked for, nail color and job, as well as being highly informed on which manicure service would be best for my nails. Andrew was super nice and did an amazing manicure for me! As for the environment, the salon looked beautiful since renovation, nice pedicure chairs, etc. however, the floors weren't swept. I also didn't like that I could only send cash w/ my phone or use cash to leave the tip; I had 2 services done by 2 different people and I had to tip once and just tell how to divide it between the two. read more

If I could leave -1 stars, I would. DO NOT get your nails done here!!!!! I got my nails and feet done last week by a slightly rude woman. I went to pay my 110$ bill and she swiped my Cash App card 4 TIMES, said it didn't go through, and asked for another card. I gave her a different card linked to a different bank account and she charged that card 110$ also. I left and didn't think anything of it until I checked my Cash App card and realized she charged me twice. 220$ total!! Went back in and the guy working the desk said he'll drop the charge and to come back in two days if it didn't drop and they'll give me cash. 4 business days go by and the charge goes through on my cash app card. Now I'm officially double charged. Ok cool. I go back up there to get the cash and now they say they have NO RECORD of my cash app card being charged!!! And that they will NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! I even showed them proof of both charges to two different bank accounts equaling 220$ total!!! They do not care about their customers, only their money. They STOLE MONEY from me and refused to give me my money back. Spare yourself a headache and go to another nail salon that will treat you with some decency AND RESPECT in the case that they make a mistake. I am now filing a complaint with the VA Better Business Bureau to get my money back. SMH. read more
