A friend of mine lost her wallet at the ATM next to Luxury Nails, and the same day she got multiple fraudulent charges on her stolen debit card in Westminster. The totals were over: $500 in gas, fast food, Walmart all located in Westminster. My friend filed a police report, but they never followed up on it. PLEASE keep an eye on your valuables because if you forget something there, they will steal it and lie about it. Basically claiming ignorance. Also my friend is a cancer patient and they lost their insurance cards as well. When they pleaded for the return of the insurance cards as well as ID, they again claimed ignorance. It is known that several workers at Luxury Nails live in Westminster (look at the license plates surrounding the business). It truly is horrendous behavior that the women who work at Luxury Nails would steal from a cancer patient, lie about stealing, and wouldn't even give back at least the insurance cards and their ID. Again, BE CAREFUL with your belongings because they have shown that they wont hesitate to steal, pillage, and lie to benefit themselves. It is ironic that they have a statue of Buddha in the front because they have an immense amount of karma due to them. They obviously don't align with the morals of Buddhism. read more

Bad business practice!! DO NOT go here. My mom, sister, and I have gone here as a family for the past few years and we as always went here this past Friday to get our nails done. The gal who did my mom's nails completely butchered her nail bed and pointed her gel-x tips upwards, when my mom brought this to their attention they gladly said they would reschedule her for 9:00 am today and promised to fix their error for FREE. After they fixed her nails (she even brought her own gel-x tips) they insisted that she owed $20 because it was a new set (due to their mistake the previous day). Stopped here for a quick pedicure after dropping off a return at the UPS store next door. It was the middle of the day on a Wednesday and it was very crowded, making me think it must be a pretty good nail salon, considering the amount of competition in the area. As luck had it, they were able to take me right away, even without an appointment . I chose my color and was able to provide input on the temperature of my water. Overall, my experience was positive. I'm happy with my pedicure, although the woman who assisted me left the corners of my nails a tad too pointy and sharp, so I had to file them when I got home. If i could give 0 stars I would, I was on vacation visiting my family in california & i wanted my nails done for Lunar New Year and my best friend recommended me to go to luxury nails because they were supposed to be "good" i got my nails done for about 4 days or so & completely got my fingernail & fake nail ripped off after just hitting it against a drawer, i watched the owner tell her technician "don't forget to file it down" & she said okay, after that i even spoke up, but it didn't happen, i understand accidents happen, but im pretty rough with my nails & the nails on my left hand didn't pop off once, so the fact it did is crazy to me, after it was brought up to her attention.. with video & picture footage of my nail all she can reply to is "OK" I am not knocking the gel painting but the prep process for my nails to "last". As someone who grew up in the cosmetology industry I know a few things. one of things is this is not how you run a business. second, it's about the prepping process as to how long the nail lasts. Fast forward to today my best friend came out to the shop to get her nails removed, and the owner asked about my finger & when it was brought up the owner snickered & laughed in vietnamese with a coworker knowing my best friend didn't understand vietnamese, like what is funny? what's funny about your "customer" who is out of state going to the hospital over something YOUR technician did. This was hands down the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I got a gel manicure that literally peeled off the very next day. I went back to have it fixed, and while they did redo the nail, the color didn't match the rest of my nails at all. They kept insisting it was the same shade when it clearly wasn't. Within another day, the polish started peeling again. I went back to get it fixed, and they fixed it but it CAME OFF AGAIN! So, when I went back yet again to complain, instead of taking responsibility, they told me I had to pay $25 to fix it! They claimed I got my nails done 3 weeks ago in front of the whole salon, which was not true. Overall, only a few days had passes since i got them done. Its supposed to last at least 2 weeks. The quality here is absolutely terrible, and the customer service is just as bad. Save your time and money -- do not go to this salon. It's not worth it. read more

A little disappointed with my nails, within the first 24 hours I lost two nails. My fingertips are swollen and not sure if I got some kind of infection. My cuticle was cut and nothing was done about it. The individual doing my nails was sweet, but didn't do a very good job. By far the absolute worst experience ever! I did a gel mani and regular pedi 1. I was rushed to pick a color. My nail tech literally told me to "hurry up and pick a color" so I had about 2 minutes to make a decision 2. My biggest complaint was the quality of the manicure. The color instantly looked bubbly on my nails. I said they look bubbly and the girl tells me to dry them under the light 4 times and it'll go away. She then rushed me out of salon. I walked about 10 steps and turned back around to say I was not happy with the nails and I wanted them fixed. Luckily someone else helped me but about 6 employees circled around me and evacuated my nails and it was eventually fixed. But I would not recommend anyone go there! Please read as you've been warned and shouldn't waste your time with a salon who has 0 customer service or care for their clientele. 1. Staff - want to go into a nail salon where the second anyone walks in they instantly start to judge and talk made shit amongst one another in their language. 2. Or even better enjoy a careless manicurist who made me bleed and almost ripped my finger skin off with the acrylic mechanical machine. Didn't say sorry or anything and i screamed "ouch" 3. Lastly, paying over $40 for dipping powder tips and the manicurist doesn't care how you want them so instead of trying to make them the shape i want they get up and just dip so I have to ask for someone else to come shape them? Or even better you must request a cuticle cleaning -- is that not a given when getting gels? Dipping powder? Acrylics? I believe only a polish change is when you must request for a cuticle cleaning. I am appealed on how I was treating with such little to no respect. I'm paying for this service and it is their job to provide the best service that they are capable of. Ivy is the best (she gets 5 s) . She is accommodating and nice. Prices are reasonable and a slightly bit cheaper than other places I have been to, job quality is a 10. She explains the prices open and honestly so you are never surprised with the cost. -1 star to all the salons who take you in, tell you to sit, (as if you are going to be helped right away) and make you wait 30 mins to an hour. One lady who came in after me had that happen. I was a little angry (for her) that they did that to her and she ended up scheduling for another day after she waited that long. For me, time is very precious. I schedule appointments because I don't have time to wait 2-3 hours before I have to sit for another hour. i came on may 29 for my bday for a fill and the guy messed up my acrylics so bad. Before the fill they were super smooth and essentially perfect aside from the fact that they were grown out. I left with bumpy ridged nails.... A few days later I decided to repaint them because they just looked so bad and I found out that each nail had these tiny scratches like the guy doing my nails forgot to completely smooth them out.
