Worst acrylics I've ever paid for. It was entirely rushed (which is fine if you know how to still do a good job!) I already have Incredibly thin nails and she definitely sanded off whatever I had left of those to put on these sloppy, bulky, oddly shaped acrylics. There are dents in half of them showing how unevenly they were filed on the top and points on my "oval" tips. It looks like an 11 year old got a kit from Walmart and went to town! To top it off I have glue all over my fingers because she just slathered it on! I've never had to go somewhere else to fix a manicure I just paid for but here I am. On top of it everyone was in such a rush to get out including asking me to pay before she had been finished, that I felt so uncomfortable. I haven't been this disappointed in a nail salon. read more

Fair. The salon opened at 11, according to their hours only. Someone didn't show up until 11:10. It's extraordinarily informal. One if the manicurist's children was running around the salon changing tv channels, complaining to his sister, trying to talk with his mother(the manicurist). Mom took a phone call while in the middle of waxing a client. My manicurist was perfectly lovely, but I don't think I'll be back. It wasn't a relaxing atmosphere. read more

I was hoping to love this place since its right across the street from where I live, but nope. I walked in at 10:15 on a Sunday - 15 minutes after they open, no one had arrived yet only two employees. I asked for a gel pedicure. Now, gel pedicures have been around long enough that they are pretty common, especially for a place that does gel powder! Well this lady looked at me like I had 10 heads and finally told me to pick a color. Also, most salons that have gel, show you the color on a fake nail. Nope, just showed me a wall of gel colors in boxes. As if I knew how it was going to turn out. Fast forward, the other employee starts me with my pedicure. No communication because this employee is trying to take off my previous gel pedicure with nail polish remover, I told her it was gel. Most places, have the electronic nail file to help remove the previous gel residue, this woman spent 20 minutes filing the gel off my toe nails. Finally, I was ready for the gel polish, only to be told to come with the first lady I encountered when I walked in! I was confused but got up and followed her. She led me to the front of the salon to sit down - so now I was no longer in a pedicure chair, a regular salon chair. This nail salon was so unequipped to do a gel pedicure this lady puts the UV lights on the floor and shes grabbing at my feet to put in her lap. I have never seen anything like this. It was time to pay, FIFTY DOLLARS they charged me for gel pedicure. Their regular pedicures are 20, so they mean to tell me JUST FOR GEL IT WAS AN EXTRA THIRTY DOLLARS ?? do not go here. it was a total joke. read more

I used to go often when Nina was there, but I've been disappointed with the new owner/manager (I gave two chances). She rushed me to choose a color when there wasn't even a person available- she basically chose a color for me and handed it to me. Then she asked personal questions that I found rude (about age) and went on to touch my face and comment on my eyebrows (I guess hoping I'd ask to get waxed?) My manicure turned out decent, and maybe she was just trying very hard to seem polite, but I probably won't be back. Also- a previous reviewer said not to go to "the guy". I'm going to say that he's the only one I'd want to go to if I do ever go back. He was very nice, polite, and talented when he worked on my mother's gel manicure. read more

There is a new owner and to be honest, they do an amazing job. Never a long wait time, the place is immaculate, they sterile tools properly (you actually see them placing tools in sterilizer between clients), friendly and the work is well done. My gel manicure lasts a solid 4 weeks every time. I know there are negative reviews below but they are from previous owners. I strongly recommend giving this place a try. There are other places near by for better manicures, but if you do get a manicure here, DO NOT GO TO THE GUY!!! Terrible experience with him. A pretty good nail salon. The owner Johnny is very polite, and flexible with appointments as well as walk ins. There are two technicians I am fond of to fill my gel set, Kevin and the other male. Unfortunately I don't know the other male's name but he is phenomenal with gel product and shaping a round or almond shaped nail, he normally sits in the back, very polite and pleasant. Kevin is great with gel as well and a square shape. The only issue i had was that i did recommend two people to this place and they both had awful experiences and swear they will not come again. EXtremely disappointed with my gel manicure. I got them done yesterday and they looked great at the time. I went home did laundry and made dinner, by the time I was done the gel had completely peeled off four of my nails. Kind of ridiculous that they're supposed to last three weeks and mine barely lasted three hours. The service was mediocre. The woman doing my nails was very unfriendly and constantly checking her cellphone. It took her 45 minutes to fill my nails and then she realized two of my nails weren't painted very well. She took another 15 minutes to fix them and then I was on my way. Overall very unhappy. read more

The new owner does nothing but rush her costumers. The store sign says they close at 7:30pm and yet when my girlfriend went she was rushed out at 6:20 so she could close shop. Rushing her ruined her toes since the new owner told her they were already dry. My girlfriend went the next day just to get it fixed and she charged her. She had the audacity to say that gel pedicure was $50 and that she had to pay a $30 difference. Very unprofessional charging a costumer for your mistakes and closing and hour earlier. read more

When getting a manicure, I felt as if I was in a "get a manicure in one minute or less" TV show. The manicurist was in such a rush to get me out to close the salon and leave. Absolutely by far the worst customer service ever. I was sent an email for a free lip or eyebrow wax for my birthday. I went in for a manicure and realized i had to PRINT the email and brig it in because they won't honor it otherwise. So the very next day I went in with the printed email so I can get a lip wax they immediately denied me and said I had to get a service done even though I was just there yesterday getting a manicure and the woman who serviced me was there. Then another rude employee opens the door to the wax area and asked me what I want, not how can she help me or politely ask me if there's anything she can do for me? So I proceed to tell her about my wax offer and how I was here yesterday getting a service etc. and she said no , read the paper and then shuts the door in my face. Nina is excellent! I get my nails done by her religiously every 3 weeks for the past 5+ years and she is always on time, sweet, and very good at what she does! If I want to get pampered and have a "relaxing" atmosphere, I go to the spa! Luxury Nails is perfect for what it's there for! Where do I begin with this mistake of a place! First of all, they weren't friendly. The nail color choices were bare and dismal. At least one person there had to have their entire manicure redone because every nail had fuzz in it. My daughter's one nail had hair in it, and the other was smudged. They put your hands in a disgusting wax, almost puked looking at it. Then they half-heartedly swab your nails with alcohol afterwards - well guess what. I'm surprised there isn't more reviews for this place. I love the owner Nina. She was so sweet and took me right away. She knew exactly what I wanted. She was friendly and spoke with me while she did my nails and she was very quick. Most nail salons kill me because I sit there for over an hour for just a full set. But Nina got it all done in 45 minutes! I was so happy because I was in a rush. Then I got a pedicure from one of the girls. She really took my cuticles out from my toes and the calf massage felt so good with their scrub! The only complaint I had was that she didn't put another layer of pink on my French toes because one of my toes has a white stain on it and I asked for an extra layer of pink but I don't think she understood me. Overall I had an amazing experience at this salon and will definitely be back again. Also, for the full set of LCN with airbrush and a French pedi I paid $75 which is amazing compared to the $120 gel set quote I got from another place close by! Amazing deal and great service. Saw the sign for SNS Nails ( had this done in Florida) tips on free edge then you dip in powder, brush on resin dip etc. I had French done. Options are French, or just a natural look one color, or a color like red or whatever! Went in week before and asked how much for a full set she wrote on back of card $35. So I go in today, and Joanne precedes to tell me I can't do tips etc with SNS!! Only on natural nail. This is false!! Apparently Joanne does not know how to use the product!! She says they won't be strong enough!! Well that's bc you do not know how to properly apply! Sorry. So I was left with a choice of acrylic or gel. Of course I chose gel because the latter is smelly etc. very quick job, was not going to seal until I politely told her that is the correct thing to do! ( PS I am a nail tech) it really amazes me how these oriental or whatever nation their from stays in business, they have no personality, they act like your a thing, and lastly they rush and do not know half of what their doing. I'm sure there are a lot that do. However, the majority are all the same!! I don't know why I bothered!!! $70 later!!! Not worth...was unhappy bc it is not what I wanted.
