At the beginning she asked if I wanted lashes, and I agreed. Towards the end of my appointment, she handed me the mirror to check on my makeup. I pointed out a few things, which she fixed and at that point, I was happy. When I went to pay, my artist mentioned to the person at the desk the lashes. And when they stated the price, it was $20 higher than I was originally anticipating per the pricing online. They asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes to check it but they only handed me the credit card slip. I asked for the itemized receipt and the lashes were an extra $20. At no point did the makeup artist mention the up charge and I was a little taken aback. A friend of mine came in after and I mentioned the lashes to her and she opted out of them. I was frustrated as I literally had lashes in my purse while sitting in the makeup chair. I wish I had the option to pay the extra fee instead of not being warned. I mentioned I didn't get my makeup done often so this wasn't something I was expecting and it wasn't listed on their website that lashes were extra when booking. I was really disappointed as I felt like it was done secretive instead of being open with clients.

I always go in there asking questions about the next service I should do, such as facials. My brows have never looked so good. I've had my eyebrows threaded in the past, and maybe waxed and tinted once before but never like this. It's def a unique experience for me! Her salon/office is very clean and decorated well. Unfortunately, the next afternoon my daughter still required nebulizer treatment so I ultimately needed to cancel. I cancelled the day before my appointment. Since November, I haven't gotten my nails done. I have another wedding coming up so I thought now was my chance to try the salon. I called about two weeks prior to when I wanted to go and made an appointment. About 30 minutes later, I received an email that my appointment had been cancelled. I called the salon to find out why since I hadn't been called or told why. The woman who answered said it was because of my history of cancelling my appointments, upon telling her the circumstances of why I had to cancel my previous appointments, she was rude, demeaning and chose to berate me on rescheduling and then cancelling and thought I would cancel again so didn't want to take my appointment. She didn't want to even give me a chance. I honestly felt sad that I was treated this way, I was sad for all moms and I was sad that a primarily women focused business would choose to treat prospective customers like this. They could have called me to ask if I would make it, they could have followed their own policy and if I did cancel again, charge me. But instead they chose to berate me for taking care of my child over running to my nail appointment. Very disappointing customer service and I hope no one else gets treated this way from any business.
