I love anything to do with loosing inches without working too hard so this seemed like the perfect place to go. So booked an appointment (not sure what I was getting myself into at all) and was greeted at the front desk by Caleb who has the friendliest smile and really starts the visit off to a great start. Caleb directed me to a private sauna room where I was able to relax for 45 minutes. I then went for a quick shower and then greeted by Lisa who I later found out was the owner. She was doing the Rapid slimming and muscle toning part of my luxury treatment this afternoon and she was absolutely wonderful. We had a lovely hour of heaven as I was able to lie on a comfortable bed and relax while Lisa put my body through a super workout and I didn't even break a sweat BUT I did feel it for several days afterwards. I have been to many places for facials, massages, as well as other treatments and have never felt as relaxed and comfortable as I did at Luxury on Lovers and will return many times over as it was an amazing experiance. I loved going to Luxury on Lovers, until during one of my Double Glow facials, acid got in my eye, and I spent the next week in and out of the doctors office. I didn't know it happened until the next morning, and it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. They need to be careful the next time they use acid, because this was a horrible experience. read more

I came here for a lash tint and lash perm. It was $98 plus $35 and I was told it would take an hour. I thought it was pricey but decided I'd try it out. It took 2 1/2 hours, she got the perm in my eyes which was incredibly painful. And after sitting there for so long, when she handed me the mirror, my lashes weren't even curled. I told the people at the front desk and they were kind and didn't charge me for the lash perm. I just don't think the person doing mine really knew what she was doing. read more

So happy I found this gem. I was all wound up and in some pain, and I needed a facial and a brow treatment. I searched Yelp for something better than what I'd found to date and Yelp steered me here. Lovely! This day spa is in an re-purposed older home, and the furnishings are more "shabby" than "chic", which actually makes for a relaxed and casual warmth. The scents are lovely, and the "Spa" music channel from Sirius playing in the background really sets the serene mood. I started with a shower and dry sauna, which was great. (I do suggest that they add a big comfy chair in that area, to relax in while waiting for the next treatment.) Then the magic began. Ariana was amazing. Might have been the best massage I have had. She managed to release so much of the tension and tightness I was holding, without me being in misery while she did it. We found the right balance of conversation verses simple relaxation, and the time flew by in bliss. The wonderful oils that she used are house made and not to be missed. I happily bought a bottle for home use. My facial was lovely, also, and used techniques I was new to. I came away happy, serene, relaxed and ready to face my next week. I'll be back! read more

I found this place on Spafinder.com when I needed a massage and had a SF gift card. The Yelp reviews were great, so I booked online without hesitation. My experience was great. My massage therapist was amazing. I had a very healing, wonderful massage. I felt a little out of place in the waiting room before my appointment -- I'm not sure why, but I guess I was the only one there at that time just to relax and not get a treatment. But now that I've been there, I would go back for either a relaxing massage or improving treatment. Book online, easy peasy, or call and speak to the owner about booking. She seems extremely accommodating and eager to serve. I look forward to trying other services here and would confidently recommend that you try this place, too. read more

I have a friend who goes here and I was going to be visiting Dallas so I called to talk to them. The owner Lisa, was wonderful and took her time with my questions. She is very knowledgable about skin care and treatments. I ended up doing the Venus Freeze and an infrared treatment. I loved both and thought this place as more hi tech treatments to offer than the places i go in Los Angeles! The house is cute and charming, though make sure you have good directions if you are not local to find it. The staff was excellent and they sell wonderful natural but effective and well priced skin care creams and body lotions. I love the cream that they make themselves for the body it's very mosturizing but filled with natural ingredients. Arzu was my esthetician - she is a wealth of knowledge - and like the other review said - super passionate about skincare! I did the Intraceuticals "Madonna" facial - so worth the money! Microderm, Oxygen, and she added IPL at the end as a little bonus :) I've been getting facials for the last 7 years and this one was the Rolls Royce. My skin is glowing and plump. First impression when i walked in - 2 women talking about another customer who frequents there while sitting behind a desk. I believe one was the manger or owner. One asked me to fill out forms and then went back to continue to talk about the customer loud enough to where i was able to hear in the other room. I was already turned off but already there. I came here because i felt my previous place was diluting the Botox and always upsaling me which i expressed to the tech, Samantha. She assure me they don't do that there. I let her know i always do 20-25 units max in my forehead and frown lines . I specifically let her know that at times i don't even like to do 25 units as it makes my forehead to frozen and shiny. She instantly tried to tell me that it is recommended to get 60 units in the same area I have always received Botox. I'm under 30 and frankly, i'm tired of hearing this. If i tell you what i like and don't like, i don't need you to tell me i need triple the amt of units. I told her absolutely not, that was crazy. I actually wasn't even due really for my usual 20 anyway, but was going on a trip so went in a month earlier than my usual time. I told her i really just wanted the 20 this time and nothing more because my 25 had worn off some after months and wanted a tweak. She began telling me this is because i need 60 units and since I've been getting Botox so long it is now wearing off faster. *insert eye roll*. This went on and on and on. In the 3 years of getting 20-25 units mainly from the same place, it typically lasts 3-4 mths and on some occasions 6 months at most. I find no problem with that esp with the conservative amt i receive. Moving along.... after her spill of 60 units for a second time i tell her i really just want the 20 units. She said can we meet in the middle and do 23? OH MY LORD. At this point i was so run down by this conversation i said fine. I mean i actually did say 'fine.' Got my 23 units and it was worn off in a month and a half (this is me being polite). I went to my usual place after that month and a half and have them do my usual 20 and it last almost 4.5 months. I was so disappointed because i had already recommended my friend go for her first time before i even had my experience because i saw good reviews. After i told her my actual experience and then she saw how quickly it wore off compared to my usual place she still has yet to try Botox because she is so weary of places like this. BEST FACIAL EVER...HANDS DOWN! ARZU ORS is a Facial EXPERTISE!!! I am a complete skin freak and I have never met anyone more knowledgeable about skin than Arzu is. She has such an extensive understanding of the skin that after assessing your skin, she personally mixes a different treatment solution for each client of hers. I have never had acne in my life but due to stress and a lack of sleep, my skin took a turn for the worst. Never having had a facial and seeing as to how my skin looked so horrible, I was very skeptical to make an appointment with someone who was about to extract the mess out of my many impurities. However, booking an appointment with Arzu was the best risk i've ever taken! She literally changed my skin after one appointment. I walked in with many stubborn zits that would not release no matter how hard I squeezed and when she was through with me, no joke, it was like my zits had disappeared. I'm not going to lie, the next morning when I woke up my face was slightly red in a few areas but after about a week, my face completely calmed down and literally looked like porcelin. My skin has never looked better! Arzu performed the double glow clarity facial on me but this treatment was more than extractions and lotions and potions. She literally exposed my skin down to three different layers and treated each layer with a different mixture according to what that particular layer needed. Like I said before, her knowledge of the skin is beyond that of many dermatologists and she has even worked side by side a doctor to develop the mixtures that she concocts during each appointment. I loved how informative she was all throughout the facial and I never felt insecure or like she was making a disaster out of my face. Arzu does more than just wash your face and pop your zits and I can guarantee you if you get a facial by her, your skin will look better than you've ever seen it, no matter how clear or unclear your skin is now!
