I recently went to Luxury on Lovers because I found out that they had a salt therapy chamber online. I was having lingering respiratory problems from Covid. Since western medicine was not helping me break up the congestion in my chest, after I tested negative I decided to set up an appointment and do more of an alternative approach which was a combination of salt treatments and massage. After I got three salt therapy treatments I was blown away by how fast it worked. Getting the salt into my lungs broke up the congestion very quickly and I was feeling better faster than I thought. I highly recommend this spa. Lisa was knowledgeable and was great at creating a personalized experience for me. Okay so I wanted to try Botox for the first time, I just needed a little tightening. I am young and just didn't want my face to move as much. I went around 1 PM for my treatment on a Wednesday. The treatment itself was great, the technician talked me through it and helped me to make the best decision for my face. It was slightly painful, but she helped me to get through it. Also she told me pricing before she did anything. The main reason taking one star off was the front check in. There was a woman in front of me checking out and it took forever. The girl finally had to get someone else to help her ring it up, then forgot her face cream and had to do another transaction. Also I walked through their kitchen while girls were eating? Slightly weird, I would have preferred to walk through the front door to avoid the kitchen all together if people are eating like that. It just wasn't professional. read more

Today was my first time going to Luxury on Lovers. I absolutely loved it! Jennifer was incredibly thorough. She explained every step of my HydraFacial and seemed very knowledgeable. This facial was significantly better than those I've hathe dermatologist, and my skin feels amazing. I highly recommend Jennifer and Luxury on Lovers. I'll be back! Update: I went back in May for another appointment... Great facial and experience, but I have now had two appointments cancelled in a row. Wow. Best. Facial. Ever. Groupon had a deal for the HydraExpress facial, and since this place is down the street from me, I thought I'd splurge a bit. Best decision I made all week. Everything about this place is adorable. Caleb, the guy who called to confirm my appointment? Adorable. The little two-story house with its teeeeeeny-tiny little parking lot? Adorable. Arzu Ors, the aesthetician who did my facial? AH-DOR-A-BULL. Tell me I'm pretty and I am putty in your hands. Arzu fawned all over me while she was getting everything set up and when I told her I was a lawyer, she squealed "I love lawyer girls!" (I know, right? How could you not be in a good mood around this woman?) She is SO passionate and knowledgeable about skincare. She stood there and explained how skin ages (complete with visual aids) for about 10 minutes before she even touched my face. When the time came for the facial, she was all business. The machine felt like Cinderella's mice were quietly, gently vacuuming my face with their tiny vacuum. When she was done, she asked if I minded her doing some extractions. Do I MIND? Lady, you could beat me with a broom and I'd ask for more. And they were some of the most painless extractions I've ever had. And maybe it's just the glow of a great experience, but I swear, even the bright light they shine on you wasn't as bright and painful as I usually find it. I didn't flinch once or try to roll my eyes to the back of my head like I usually do. I had to text my boyfriend that I'd be late for dinner cuz I just wanted to hang out with Arzu and have her tell me I'm pretty and put stuff on my face for a while. After she was done, she piled my hands full of samples and seemed shocked when I handed her a tip. (I know. Adorable.) The treatments here are pricey, but I walked out of there thinking it was totally worth it. I don't think I can afford to go as often as she was telling me to, but I can't wait to see her again. read more

Luxury on Lovers already has a 4/4/14 yelp complaint against them written about their customer service & apparently nothing has changed. I scheduled an appt online on 1/19/16 for a hydrafacial and Botox on 2/3/16. I received a phone from their scheduling manager at 10:30am 2/2/16 informing me that the appt needed to be changed bc of the procedures. I asked her to flip the procedures and she said that couldn't be done. I tried to reschedule the procedures and that couldn't be done. Every option I gave this woman could not be done. Not only could she not accommodate my requests, she waited until the day before to tell me, and did it with a very VERY nasty attitude. I ended up canceling the appt & spending my money elsewhere. The staff at Luxury on Lovers had WEEKS to contact me and let me know. Instead, they are lazy and chose to take a condescending tone and hung up the phone on me when I pointed out their oversight! I am sick of customer service employees treating customers like dirt just bc they messed up & they cannot own up to their mistakes! That tactic accomplishes nothing and it's not like I can't go to LOL location and tell her exactly what I think about their work ethic to their faces. Their customer service a joke. It is a sad, pathetic, & pompous. Quite frankly, anybody could do a scheduling manager's job. read more

What a great spa! Located on Lovers Lane in a small building with a small parking lot, I am reminded of some of the small quaint spas located in the northeast. As a guy, your first visit to a spa can be uncomfortable, but not here. The staff was really nice and made me feel like a regular. I originally schedule a 90 minute massage, but with 2 hours until my appointment I wanted to add a facial. While seemingly impossible, LoL (Luxury on Lovers) was able to squeeze me in. I started off with the express hydra facial, which was my first facial and it was great. Arzu was great and kept me constantly aware of what see was doing and how it would help my skin. Next time I will get the full hour facial. After my facial, I met with Ariana for a massage. Before the massage she questioned me on what I was looking. Although, I originally scheduled a Swedish massage, after Ariana poked around my back we decided on a massage to realign my energy meridians. It is not on the website, but it was a good change of pace. The best part about the massage was that she knew exactly how much pressure to use. I never had to say go firmer or flinch from pain. For that reason I wish I could 6 stars. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Wonderful Way to Spend Your Day. I went for a hydrafacial. My favorite treatment for years. I moved from Atlanta and was looking for someone in Dallas who knows the protocol. I found my new place! It a quaint old house, tucked in, almost at the end of W. Lovers. Aromas welcome you when walk through the doorway. Lisa, the owner, greets you as if you were always meant to walk through her door. Listening to the light banter, with their regular clients, eases you that this is not a stuffy place. Before I started, I asked if I could add on another treatment and they so accomodating. I got lucky for sure with scheduling. My massage was perfect. I was well unknotted when she was done. Comfy, robbed up and relaxed, I went across the hall for my well anticipated hydrafacial. Ahhh....perfect. Now I want to more. They are on top of the best treatments around. Three hourse later, I'm in a cacoon of Nirvana. Also, if you want unique little gifts, that have a personal meaning, Lisa has a incredible eye for beautiful jewelery and accessories. I've done groupons, it's hit or miss, I've done high price HP Salons. Luxury might be slightly more, $10 or $15 but look at their packages. The massage and facial were very reasonable. So I've been trying to schedule a laser service for about 6 months now. I called spoke with a lady she said she would call back..never did. Then I called again two weeks later. Spoke with Lisa she said she would call me back when they got the laser back in. That never happened. Then the spa got shut down due to the virus which is understandable. However they are now open again. I tried to book an appointment online in advance due to the suspected high volume. Sadly there was no option for my treatment available on the site to book in advance. I sent an email to try and get in contact with someone. Needless to say no reply yet again. So now we are here. I'm going to a different place. It should not be this hard to get a business to take your money for a service you want that you have got there before. Very sad. I was happy with my first treatment but I am tired of reaching out to try to get another one done. My Hydrafacial with Lili was so relaxing and my skin is still glowing weeks after. I like how this place takes appointments online and they even called me a few days before to confirm. It looks like the building used to be an old house so it had a very cozy, relaxing feel to it. I showed up 15 min early to fill out paperwork, but had to wait about 10-15 min after my appointment time before they called me up. Not a huge deal as I was not in a hurry. Lili asked me what my concerns were with my skin before the treatment. I've had a Hydrafacial before so I didn't expect her to walk me through it, therefore I was able to relax... and I think I even fell asleep for a bit! However, for those who have never had one, it is good to know what is happening during each step. Lili took time afterwards to answer my questions and made a couple of suggestions, but not once did she push any product on me - which I appreciate. Checking out was a breeze, and they took my Spa Finder gift card with no problem. I definitely will keep Luxury on Lovers on my rotation for Hydrafacials and maybe try other services. read more

Facial was nothing, been to countless med spas - best of the best and really know my stuff, trust me. Basically washed my face, a mask, and rubbed in creams. I believe my total was $175 or so? Complete waste of money, it was the least intensive facial I had ever received and based on the cost, it was essentially a scam. I had read reviews before going, and left just so confused at the disconnect between these positive reviews and the quality of service. I could have achieved the same results for $0 at home, sadly. Money down the drain. I am thinking maybe the women who leave glowing reviews for their facials either aren't experienced in receiving many facials so the bar is quite low, or got another esthetician. read more

I recently traveled from Phoenix AZ to Dallas just so Sam could do my lip injections. It was well worth the trip. I was injected yesterday and the swelling has already went down to the point I could go to work and no one has noticed a thing. Lip injections are tricky you cannot just go to anyone. I'm on the second day and my lips do not look duck like they look natural and full. Sam has also done my botox and fillers. I would never let anyone else touch my face. She's able to notice lines and suggest fillers in places that really make a difference in your appearance. Sam loves her clients and has a serious passion for what she does and it shows! read more

I have had a hydra facial by both Monica and Lily and was fantastic. Also, had fillers around lip area and under eyes and Botox by their nurse Samantha yesterday and she was incredible. I have had fillers or Botox by plastic surgeons, derms and others and she is by far the best out of all. I was leary of lip and eye area because I wanted a very natural type of look. Samantha was incredibly knowledgeable about products/fillers and which would work best. There was minimal pain and day two there is NO bruising and I LOVE the result. Recently moved to Dallas and was looking for a good facial spot. This place is a little hard to find as it's located inside a house with minimal parking outside- only two spots, but it was just me and one other person there anyway. I had my facial done by Courtney who took a look at my skin and made a recommendation, which I liked since I'm not very knowledgeable about facials in general. She recommended dermaplaning, followed by extraction and a hydrafacial. I've only really had two facials my entire life and they were so far apart that I can't really remember the experience in comparison to this one, but I do think the one I had here was more intense and thorough than what I've had before. The entire process took about an hour, but again I really felt like she was working hard on my face. I've never had dermaplaning or a hydrafacial before so I can't speak to what they are supposed to feel like, but from what my friend who is a dermatologist told me, dermaplaning is similar to a chemical peel so afterwards your skin may feel dry and flakey while dead skin is falling off. I did feel like my face was dry and flakey for 3-4 days afterwards, but after that initial period, my skin looked great! I avoided using any retinol products a few days prior to the facial and continued to avoid them a few days after the facial as well, but mainly cleansed and moisturized my face. My skin currently looks refreshed and clear and I'm very happy with the results! read more
