Well what can one say when they purchase a Groupon. The salon was in complete disarray. It was like walking into a back alley dirty place in NYC. She said there was a fire 4 months ago. Oh, Ok. But why so dirty. If I didn't have a Groupon I would have walked out right then. Ok, I had a lot of grey and wanted my blonde back and a wanted about 2 inches cut. Alla is great. She works quickly, and does an excellent job. This was my first time getting my haircut here, and I am very satisfied. I really liked the way she cut my hair, but wanted her to trim up my bangs just a little, and thin it out a bit more (I have very thick hair). A week after my service, she allowed me to come back free of charge for a touch up and more layers. Alla was great and super nice! I had covered my gray with a reddish color that would not have looked good with the highlights I was asking for. She was able to give me beautiful highlights without going to light and making them brassy, which was a danger with what I had done. She is fast and and effiecient and I got a great cut. What a deal for a partial highlight cut and blow dry for $67 for first time customers. You can tell she really want you to love your hair and is passionate about what she does. I am someone who always checks reviews on a place before I go there- especially so when it comes to my hair. I saw Luxury Salon & Spa on Facebook, and I didn't find a whole lot of reviews, so I took a gamble and it paid off BIG TIME! Alla was super efficient and personable, and she did a partial highlight and cut in about an hour and a half. My hair came out great! I'd seen a sign outside this salon on my way to work for a new customer special - partial highlights or lowlights, shampoo, cut and blow dry for $67. I called today for a last minute appointment and they got me right in with Alla. The place is clean and comfy. Alla was very nice and asked what I was looking for. I just wanted to go a little darker for fall and get a trim and low maintenance style. She did lowlights and cut my hair. She did a great job! I even liked how she dried and styled my hair. Some places make my hair too flat but not here. I felt ready to go out for the night with my new style. They told me that at least for 2014, the same lowlights, cut and style would be $77 without the new client deal. They have very reasonable prices and do a good job. My wife purchased a Groupon Coupon for this salon. Upon reading the reviews, she doesn't seem to be the only one that has had trouble with having purchased a Groupon and not received what the coupon said she would. While the hairdresser was kind and made polite conversation, I would hardly give anyone credit for meeting the basic minimum requirements for adequate customer service or even just being a normal person. The Groupon stated she would get color. Not only did she not get color, she was actively dissuaded from doing so using the conversation she had started with my wife in how busy my wife has been working this weekend to support her recommendation to not add color because it "takes time to maintain which is seems you don't have". The haircut in general turned out much shorter than she desired, while the wash was something resembling the way you wash and dry a child's head. If you are going to use Groupon to attract new customers, how about treating them the same way you treat everyone else who were clearly pleased with their experiences. This may be obvious, but if you are going to offer a Groupon, provide the services listed. All of them. Or don't list them. Don't offer something you don't intend to provide. It's a waste of the customer and the establishments time to get new customers in via Groupon, only to provide the most unsatisfactory experience imaginable. Plain and simple, stop offering Groupons. For anyone thinking of getting a Groupon for this place, consider the other comments that are poor experiences via Groupon. Clearly this place isn't interested in anyone looking for great service and skilled hairdressers if you are buying a Groupon to get there. Save your money, time and energy for people who care to provide great work, no matter what your budget and who are going to at least provide the services they advertise and are willing to provide the service they offer on their coupons. It's not like anyone else is expecting anything unusual. They chose to state on the coupon what you will get. If they can't follow their own direction, pass. There's plenty of people in Atlanta that are interested in doing business and will happily take your Groupon that they themselves offer for the opportunity at repeat business. read more

I've read some reviews from Groupon people on here and I would like to ask you guys to stop expecting a 200$ due from a 30$ payment. My mom purchased the Groupon for cut, partial highlights and blowout as a gift. After reading a few of the negative reviews, I was somewhat hesitant but I am so glad I went. I called on a Tuesday and she got me in on that Thursday, which was fantastic. Also, I told her that I was in a bit of a hurry since I had somewhere to be after that and she assured me that an hour would be plenty of time. She was right- she highlighted, washed, cut, and blowdried my hair in under 50 minutes. She was very professional and made polite conversation. She asked me what I wanted and made sure to confirm how bright I wanted the highlights and the length of the cut several times. The end result was beautiful and I love the color so much. I will definitely consider going there for my regular hair appointments from now on! read more

Excellent experience! I'm coming back. I got highlights and a trim. I wanted to keep my hair long but it was in need of layers and styling. She gave me perfectly colored highlights in just the right places and then framed my face with longer bangs and gave my hair some long layers. The salon is comfortable and chic. I also purchased a Groupon... no problems at all redeeming it. I had highlights and a cut just to order. Alla was helpful with her suggestions on how I should cut my hair. Her Salon is easy to find and comfy inside. She is very efficient yet still pleasant in her conversation that makes it not seem rushed at all. I was in and out of the Salon in about 1 hour 15 mins. I have lingered hours at other Salons for the same process because the stylist wanted multiple clients at the same time and gave no one their full attention. I had a great experience! I had past their sign often on my way home from work, but never had the opportunity to try this salon out. I found myself in need of a partial highlight, and cut before heading out of town on a last minute trip... I walked in on Thursday evening around 5pm explaining my situation... And she graciously opened an early appointment for me on THAT Saturday to accommodate me! My high/low lights are great, the cut and blow dry look fabulous as well! Oh!!! I was still kind of hesitated but here we go it was my favorite beauty line and European taught full of great reviews stylist all in one. Well I decided to go for it. I needed full highlights and cut. Alla just nailed it! She has that blend of natural intuitive understanding of beauty and style that you can call a really rare gift. She gets what you're looking for fast! But that was not it. Prices were other surprise. I got high class service for double less of what I'd usually spend for the same high level of service.
