Never got a call back. I called again for for appointment, this time I was able to schedule an appointment but was told to call back with insurance information. I gathered my information as I am double insured. Called back and spent a considerable amount of time getting providing my insurance info so I can be cleared for my appointment. I show up for my appointment only for the check in person to tell there is no insurance information attached to my file. What a waste of time. I left and will look for an office with competent employees. They may have good dentists but you have to get past incompetent reception first.

2026 grill update:…read more Avoiding the dentist by "being too busy" cost me a tooth and some extra coin...that said, I can even more fully recommend Atlantic dental because now I've had some adulting major work...not just cleanings and crowns. Like a true team, Dr. Paz handled the below gum work and Dr Tamir, the above...can you tell what I had replaced? Trust this team I've always found this office to be professional and conservative with treatment, if they say you need it, listen before you do more damage with time and decay like me. No scams and it never feels like a car dealership. So in December 2025, they gave me the bad news and coordinated a plan: an extraced tooth, a deep cleaning and a bridge... but of course a month later I had a major life emergency because Murphy's Law...I communicated my situation and we adapted the timeline and got done what i could so I could minimize the decay/need more expensive implants. Many months later just had my first post work done cleaning with my superflossin' hygenist Lourdes...and noone on the street or that I've kissed can tell what I was missing a tooth a couple months back... btw, nothing about my procedures hurt a lot.... except having to use my Care Credit...which they accept and is great if you need 0% financing (just pay it off in time).

I couldn't be more than happy and Miss Morrison is taking great care of my teeth. Unfortunately I have to pay for my own teeth, given the circumstances as she knows that I have to pay for my own cost instead of paying through the insurance. She's very understanding and will take care. Her Customer services gives a fact of comforting for their patients. She's a doctor that will give you options if you want to do certain procedures she's not the one who wants to push you to get your money, but she's here to take care of you and this is what I like about her that she's not really pushy and the fact that she wants her money or the procedure. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable and will guide you through the process. If you have additional questions don't hesitate to ask them. And it's funny because they don't get bother for asking too much questions and every single time you ask him that they reply with a smile. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a new dental doctor.

Poor communication and dishonest billing practices. Billed me for "comprehensive exam" when only…read moreone tooth was examined and addressed. Nothing about my other teeth, gum health, jaw problems that I mentioned during intake. When I contacted them about fixing the billing, I never received a response. I was also promised a follow up on my insurance, didn't receive one. Also I booked my appointment with Dr Laura, but received an exam from Dr Katelyn instead. Would have been fine, however I didn't find the bedside manner to be great. For example when I mentioned that I wanted braces she simply asked "Why?" I found this odd since previous dentists had observed issues with my jaw alignment, bite, and teeth crowding.. but this time the dentist seemed confused as to why I'd even want braces. If a comprehensive exam was truly given in the first place, I don't think it would have been a question. Another example: after examining my cracked tooth she said matter-of-factly "I think we both know that it needs to go". Actually no I didn't know, that's why I wanted to get it examined in the first place rather than asking for an extraction. Weird vibes the whole time, just seemed annoyed like I was wasting her time. The place wasn't busy when I went, but wait times were very long. In total I spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes there. The actual exam was less than 10 minutes. I added one star because the lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming.

Based on that conversation and my prior visits, I had no reason to think there would be a problem. Later, I found out I was assigned to an out-of-network provider, even though there were in-network providers in the office. That was never clearly explained to me beforehand. They also did imaging that my insurance only covers at certain intervals, and no one told me beforehand that it likely wouldn't be covered. I ended up paying $872 out of pocket, which I did not expect. If I had known any of this up front, I would've made different decisions. Just frustrating overall because I returned based on prior good experiences and left feeling blindsided by the cost and lack of communication. I'd recommend people double-check exactly who they're seeing and what procedures are covered before agreeing to anything.
