Dr. Yang and his entire staff are great! I hadn't been to the dentist in a LONG time because of a bad experience I had with another dental office. I'm also a BIG baby...I can't handle pain! Dr. Yang did an AMAZING job at numbing me, so I felt absolutely NOTHING! I thought for sure I'd feel pain once everything wore off, but I didn't! My bite is also PERFECTLY aligned! Yes this is a long review but they deserve it!! I had a positive experience here and would recommend this dentist to anyone. (I actually already have!) Due to a variety of factors, I had not been to the dentist in at least 2-3 years. I was in desperate need of a cleaning. I researched online which local dentists took my Medi-Cal plan and had availability. I read reviews to check which dentists were known for a gentle and safe approach. I obviously found the right one - which turned out to be important because I had to come back more times to fill several cavities. This was extremely scary for me. But Dr. Yang, Sabrina and Magdalena made the whole process as comfortable, efficient, and painless as possible. They answered all my questions, continually checked in & paused as needed, and let me know in advance everything they were doing and why. I also have never been to a dentist that had so much useful technology. The space itself was modern and clean. I appreciated that they had mouthwash in the bathroom lol. I actually feel more confident now that my teeth are clean and healthy. I hope I can come back for my appt already scheduled for the fall. Anyone who has sensory issues or dental anxiety (or just wants healthier teeth//to have a more positive and educated experience at the dentist) could benefit from making an appt here. read more

My simple extraction took 4 hours. My mouth was in so much pain for keeping it open for so long. My tooth broke into 5 pieces. I should have got a simple crown and I believe the extraction was unnecessary. The pain from the extraction lasted 3 weeks. I would wake up at 3 in the morning with shooting pain that was unbearable. The pain would come and go at all hours of the day and night. My stitches came out the second day. Instead of having a conversation with me, the dentist was lecturing me and arguing with me. I had a very unpleasant experience and the pain was excruciating. I asked for an implant and the dentist encouraged me to get a bridge telling me the implant cost him $870 so basically was telling me that he would make more of a profit on the bridge. I would not recommend this dentist at all. He was rude to me to top it all off! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr. Yen is a master of his craft, i have complete confidence in his ability. I hadn't had dental check in 15 plus years and he found all my problems. I will be returning to him to address them in the near future. The front desk cleric Magdalena (hope this is correct spelling) is very knowledgeable, she will guild you thru the process with ease. It never good news to be told you need dental work, but she makes it as easy as possible. I will update this after my dental work is done and fully recovered. I found this dentist when I was searching for a Dentist in Whittier. Due to severe grinding, most of my teeth have problems. I hesitated going to the dentist for years until my dental bridge broke. When I came to see Dr. Yang, his office was clean, welcoming and professional. The staff was really friendly. Dr. Yang was very through during the exam. He took photos of my teeth and showed me on the X-rays where I had cavities and where I needed to have dental crowns to prevent my teeth from breaking. He also told me I needed a night guard to protect my teeth from breaking when I grind my teeth when I am sleeping. I was very impressed with his attention to details. He took his time in explaining and answering all my questions. I don't think I have had a dentist that cared enough to take the time to explain everything so I can understand what was going on in my mouth. I had the best cleaning.
