Misleading and dishonest. The other day I posted on Yelp searching for cleaning services and I provided info on what's needed, but never stated a date or time preference. Luz responded that her company was unavailable. Odd. I asked her how she could say she's unavailable when she doesn't even know the date or time. I actually posted the time as flexible! She then offered to do a walk through the following day before providing me with a quote. I was surprised by the about-face, but doing a walk through sounded fine to me. I waited and waited, but never heard a thing from her until the evening when I sent her a follow-up message. She claimed that she didn't work on that day and was actually in the mountains, but can swing by the next day to provide me with a quote. This experience left me feeling duped and deceived. I'm no longer interested in her services. Luz's Cleaning photos look good and most reviews sound good, but honest communication is seriously lacking. Proceed with caution. Luz is lying about Yelp investigating fraud. Multiple businesses can provide a lack of quality services. And that was what happened here apparently. The amount of energy she put into attacking me instead of taking accountability and being an ethical business owner is astounding. I was hoping this would be a great long term business arrangement. The girls who came were really nice & did a good job in the areas they covered however a lot was missed that shouldn't have had to be pointed out. Even if they were under the misconception one bedroom wouldn't be cleaned that wouldn't necessarily excuse under the bed from the other bedroom and under the bathroom vanity.. the floors were seriously neglected. A good business owner takes accountability and doesn't gaslight their clients. There was a misunderstanding/miscommunication, which happens, however the way it was handled was disappointing to say the least. I was picking up some things in one bedroom when the ladies arrived. I asked them to save that room for last, as I was still picking up, but the rest of the house was ready to go. The linen closet & laundry room were loaded with stuff so I told them those areas would obviously have to be excluded from being cleaned. But the rest of the house was good to go. So they started in the back bedroom & bathrooms. The front bathroom floor wasn't cleaned under the vanity & the shower tiles weren't wiped down. One of the back bathroom floor tiles was actually cracked, which is a huge bummer given we just did them about a week ago/: It wasn't supposed to be a deep cleaning so I didn't expect the fans or baseboards to be cleaned but when I was quoted $200 for a 1,125sqft house I thought that must have been for a deep cleaning. It's a very small house & it wasn't in bad shape because I had just cleaned. I noticed the baseboards & fans were untouched so I clarified if it was a deep cleaning or not, thinking she may have accidentally charged too much. She said it was just for a standard cleaning. But then I noticed how the bathroom & bedroom floors weren't done either, which was supposed to be done in the standard cleaning I was quoted for. I tried to ask for a partial refund but Luz refused & said I'd have to be okay with them coming back tomorrow at 8:30am. I told her I'd rather just finish the job myself & not have more tiles damaged. They called my phone non stop & just showed up at my door that same evening to finish the cleaning. The process was stressful & uncomfortable. Like I said, the girls were nice & did finish the cleaning, for the most part, but I would have just preferred a partial refund instead of feeling uncomfortable in my own home. Edit: was giving Luz & her team the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars but her reply is lowering it to just one star. She deserves ZERO. The level of harassment & DISHONESTY is astounding. I didn't want to deal with the cleaner coming back which is what I told Luz & I made it clear by not answering her calls. Yet she just showed up unannounced & made me feel uncomfortable IN MY OWN HOME. So I stayed in my car until she left. My partner Never said the floors were like that. There was nothing on the floors they needed to get around. And I never told them to not clean the bedrooms. She literally pointed to the laundry & linen areas & I said "yes, those areas you can leave" because there was stuff. There was nothing impacting their ability to get to the two bedroom floors. LUZ IS AMAZING!!! I have used her cleaning service for my rental home for about four years now and she has always gone above and beyond for me. She has performed miracles on short notice to get my house clean after nightmare tenants destroyed it and has gone over to check on my home when it's been empty just to dust and make sure everything is ok. I trust her fully with anything I need and she always shows up on time. Her prices are very reasonable for how well she and her crew clean and she's helped me find laundry services and air conditioning services to help run my property when I'm gone. I have very picky renters and Luz makes sure the floors are spotless and and counters are immaculately cleaned, they clean under the beds and dressers, the fridge is always cleaned inside to sparkling, my sofa pillows are nicely arranged, beds are made beautifully, and carpets are completely vacuumed without a hair or piece of dirt in sight, and all my mirrors and glass are streak free and clean. She treats my home like it's her own and helps to keep the decor in place and looking nice and notifies me if anything is broken or missing. We have been using Liz's Cleaning for a few months now. We get our 4 bedroom house cleaned every 2 weeks. I found them by starting a project where I had communication from several other cleaners. The initial deep clean went great so then we had set up twice-monthly cleaning services. I work from home, and have regular meetings that need no distractions so it's important to me for businesses to be reliable and on-time. 1st cleaning went fine. They did good. 2nd cleaning, I messaged Luz the night before to confirm the time. The day of, they were over an hour late with no heads up. I had to reach out to Luz to find out what was going on. Still cleaned later In the day and did fine. 3rd cleaning, I messaged Luz the night before to confirm the time (10:30am-11am). Then on the day of, she said they will be there 12:30pm-1pm. 2pm rolls around and still no sign of anyone so I reached out again to just cancel. Cleaning service is decent (the 2 times, I guess), communication is responsive, but I cannot recommend this cleaning company based on reliability or punctuality. Edit-I appreciate the response from the business owner, however... First lie: Business owner said the crew would be here from 10:30-11ish BOTH times. See photos. Second lie: I have security cameras outside my home, the cleaners were never outside of my home before I texted. The cleaning ladies themselves do a decent job and were always pleasant to work with. It's a fine service to use if you set the schedule and keep to it. DO NOT expect that you can ask for changes to the schedule to accommodate events you may be having at your home. They have failed to show up a few times (with an excuse provided only when I inquired about where they were) including today, THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING when I have people coming to my house; like, the only time I actually NEED it clean. I certainly did not plan on finding hours to do it myself. The last time was something similar when I asked to reschedule to accommodate an event I was hosting at home and had a same day cancel. Again, I had to find time that I did not have in the middle of my preparations to do the job I was paying them for. Nothing was done in either case to get someone to show up. Best I was offered was to hope for a cancellation. Not helpful and I am unfortunately ending my association with them given how many times this has happened. So if all you need is a set schedule, you'll be fine. If you need cleaning done when it actually matters, unfortunately, you cannot rely on Luz's Cleaning Services. read more

Luz's Cleaning Service is not only a cleaning service, but also a mental health counselor, family and marriage counselor and life coach lol... just kidding, but in all seriousness, having a clean house is akin to having taking a meditation class or talking to a counselor. I have 3 year old twin boys and my house is a disaster most times. I've been able to keep up with the "surface" cleaning day to day but couldn't get around to the other things, and it would always make me feel like I wasn't doing enough. I have one twin with special needs so he doesn't walk yet and crawls all over the ground putting things in his mouth. We have had to call the ambulance twice when he found something stuck here or there that I didn't notice because I couldn't thoroughly clean as I wanted to. I work full time and take him to 10 hours of therapy a week. After cooking and surface cleaning I barely have time to shower much less deeper clean. My husband and I hardly ever fight but when we do it's about the house and figuring out how to keep it clean, mostly because of my son. I finally said "f" it. Rather than get a marriage counselor (lol) we'll get a housekeeper. It's cheaper than therapy and we get the benefits of a nice house and a clean floor for my little! I spoke to a few other agencies that didn't seem to have the time for me. She WANTED to talk to me, even though by her reviews she must be extremely busy. I stalked her reviews and decided she might be "the one". When she showed up for the walk through, the first thing she said was "having a clean house will take the stress off you to focus on other things". YES!! Then Gloria and Kathy came today and had my house cleaned and were super sweet and nice also. I saw Gloria on her hands and knees on my floor looking under things to make sure she got all the things my son might get to. They smiled and were so polite. They don't organize your things. They clean, but Luz mentioned having a clean house would make it easier for me to organize and in one week I organized the top of my fridge, my paperwork, my dresser, my bathroom. She was right! She responded to my own text messages with enthusiasm and encouragement when I showed her the organization I had done. She was very motivating.
