I don't give five star reviews very often. I am quite picky, especially when it comes to cleaning. These folks deserve all five stars. First and foremost, the cleaning is superb. I have used other cleaners and it was "meh, I could have done that." The first time Brilliant Star came, the house was absolutely immaculate. They spent a lot of time here. Subsequent cleanings have been excellent as well. Communication is also top-notch. They are responsive and quickly adapt to suggestions. They make sure you review everything and fix things that need it. They also remember and review suggestions from previous visits. They are more expensive than others but worth every penny, definitely "concierge" cleaners. I am glad I used them. read more

I contacted Brilliant Star Cleaning because I needed a quote for a move out cleaning. 2 stars for the prompt response from the manager. I usually just do research on Yelp for what I need. This is the first time I am writing a review so feel free to message me if it gets filtered. Just 2 stars because this company states they have a business license. I looked online because I work for the state and there is no record of this company having a business license in San Diego. See the photos/screenshots attached. What can I say except for WOW!!! I have had my home professionally cleaned for decades, multiple days a week and like things spotless. But, when you have four boys (counting the husband) and working FT, things really can get away from you. We often stay at a friends beach condo in Mission Beach for a month at a time and I have made it my business to find them the very best cleaning company as possible and after a few misses, I came across Brilliant Star Cleaning Service! I started speaking with Liz and worked out the rate, which is quite fair, and what needed to be done, requesting a "deep clean" on their first visit and then what they should expect moving forward with our friends and how to leave the condo when new arrivals come and go. Liz sent me a crew of very hard working and skilled cleaners that really know how to clean and made the place look perfect. Everything put away and tidied up, they organized the cabinets, refrigerator and followed instructions to a "T" throughout. They arrived 15 minutes early with a form that detailed the service we would receive, allowed me to add specifics, which they prioritized and walked the space to go over everything. They brought their own professional cleaning supplies and worked non-stop. The condo has 3 floors and they just knocked it out of the park! I couldn't be happier or more impressed by the work and effort put into the job. There was ongoing communication with Liz as her team worked and needed to spend extra time as again, it was a deep clean that included patios, walls, windows, shutters, ceiling fans, appliances, white tiled bathrooms with sand in the grout, turning beds with new sheets and keeping the laundry going and more. I HIGHLY recommend Brilliant Star, Liz and her amazing team and will absolutely be using them for all of my cleaning needs in the future when we stay in the area and pass them along to our friends and anyone I know that is looking for the best at a very fair rate. read more

I have used Briliant Star on several occasions and they always do an excellent job. Everything is clean and dust free before they leave. The team arrives promptly at the agreed upon time and they are smiling and cheerful. The office is easy to get hold of and responds to inquiries quickly, generally within minutes. Jumping up and down HAPPY! have used other companies before but none as easy as this one. Communication, 5 star..reminders, arrival times etc...Cleaning, 5 stars!!!! This is my second review of Brilliant Star Cleaning. ANOTHER 5 Stars. Nine months later and they are still the best. Most cleaning services start to drop off after a while, but not this one. Belen and Liz (the owners) hit this out of the park. Faby and Brenda are not only exceptionally conscientious, but they are people you WANT in your home or workplace because they bring an extra touch of caring about how YOU are going to use it. I call them my "House Fairies" because it's like magic when they are done. I had Faby and Brenda help me clean out my garage - years of accumulated junk (you know how it is) and I thought it was going to be hard and complicated. Nope! Don't bother contacting them. They won't be helpful. I asked for a quote and she texted saying she was booked until December. I told her great, I don't need the cleaning until December 8th. She replied back saying she was booked Fridays. She never offered an alternative date and left it at that. I told her I felt it was unprofessional to not at least call me to discuss or offer me an alternative date that could work. So yes, she did eventually offer me a quote but not exactly looking to give my money to someone who doesn't want it. read more

Definitely would recommend this company for home cleaning. They do you the pleasure of sending over someone before your cleaning appointment to give a price estimate. Even though the cleaning took longer than expected, they still honored the estimate given which was a very affordable rate.
