If I could give a zero I would. Stopped in to see if they had openings for mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. They just shuffled me to the back barely saying anything. I told the person how I wanted my brows - she didn't listen and now they are super skinny (NOT what I asked for). The room seemed dirty. Ushered to a chair where they didn't pull out clean utensils just what was in their box from one they just finished. Pushed gel over and over even thought I said no. Hardly spoke to me other than that. Watched many of them use the utensils from one person to another without sanitizing. Will NEVER go back. So I am just visiting and needed to get a gel manicure. I called around to get prices and everyone was saying $40 except LV nails, when I called for gel manicure price they said $30. So I went to them only to find out it was $50 after receiving the service. I understand that they want a tip but don't lie to customers on the price and then trick them to pay more. I have been going to LV Nails for the past 3 years. Lynn and Kim are the manicurists I see and have not been disappointed. Usually, I get the UV gel polish which is much more durable than the cheaper conventional nail polish. At home I use rubber gloves when doing housework and never use my nails as a tool (exp. using my nails to open a can of diet coke or as a hair comb). When I invest money into beauty treatments like my nails, I maintain the recommended upkeep schedule, and I take care of them between visits. I recommend an appointment every time. read more

WORST manicure I've had in three decades. My nails are different shapes and different length and not covered to the edges. Some nails have FIVE coats of gel polish and have bubbles. The nail tech only knew how to say hello, how are you. I reshaped my nails myself and she got mad and didn't ask any questions about my second hand. It cost $50 for a horrible manicure. Well this was so disappointing. I just moved to this area on assignment for work and a coworker recommended this place. I do t know if it was something about me , perhaps they don't want diverse clientele or maybe they don't like or want new customers. I don't know which one it was but I didn't feel welcome. It was challenging to communicate with my technician and I felt pressured to get a gel pedicure. I don't like gel because of the UV exposure. That seemed to be a problem because after that she was not friendly. She kept calling over a man, perhaps the boss, to explain pricing and that I should get gel or there was an extra charge. What? Everything in this salon is done a la carte which just made the process very confusing and stressful. I'm used to everything being in the package that you select. I've never heard of a salon charging based on the shape of your nails, extra to remove your old mani/pedi. I go for mani pedis to relax not be stressed out but that's what I got was stress. As you can see from the photo, the pedicure was sloppy and looked like something my 12 yr old niece could have done. The manicure was done by a tall man who was friendly and he did a decent job job with the manicure. I tipped him for just being a decent human being. I wouldn't go back because it was too stressful and I was not treated well overall. It's obvious that they don't care about customer service, being friendly, or making one feel comfortable. The store looks great and has tons of chairs and offers drinks, which is nice. However I went with three other girlfriends for four pedicures and two manicures, regular polish and the very next day 85 to 90% of the polish was chipped off. When I called to comment and say the polish should've lasted more than 24 hours they stated they don't guarantee regular nail polish even for a day which I found to be ridiculous. No clearcoat was put on anybody to protect the polish which one would think would be common practice definitely will not go back again. I did reach out to the staff. I was then directed to the manager, who was very reluctant to have the nails redone, but stated we could and then I realized they're just going to do the same thing and not guarantee the regular polish, so did not go back. I arrived for my pedicure appointment and did not have to wait. I was seated right away and Amy, who did my nails, was very sweet and attentive. Before I was seated I was asked to pick a color, and I was surprised by their color collection. It isnt large, but it has every shade. After seeing my feet, which had not been cared for in about 6 months, because im a mom LOL, Amy told me I needed to upgrade to more indephth pedicure, which I did. The pedicure was fantastic. I have tried multiple times to like this place, this particular visit made me lose all hope. The Pros: close to my house, large color selection, and they take walk ins. The Cons: everything is super rushed. There is no attention to detail and no pride in their work. During this visit, I asked for a manicure with dip polish and a pedicure. Unfortunately, my nailed were excessively over filed (see pics), causing pain and making the shape crooked. This will take at least a month to grow back properly. Brand new location for Lyn & Ben, it's now located in N. Nevada next to Urban Egg. We have been regulars since my granddaughter was two . Definitely her favorite place & the only place she has ever had her nails done. It's all shiny & new & beautiful. Although the nailpolish was not perfect and for $40 I expect a better result. But the main disappointment came with manicure, I chose a natural color. It was thick, she realized it as soon as she started putting it on. The lady who did my pedicure was great! She was kind and thorough. Hence the three stars, instead in 1 star. However, I guess it depends on who you get. The man who did my mother's pedicure was terrible! He only cared about being on his cellphone and getting her done quickly so he could back to it. He was on it every chance he got during her pedicure. Once he found out she only wanted the basic pedicure (since she was nervous about it) he really got careless and hurried because he wasn't going to make as much money. At least that is how we were made to feel. It was her first pedicure ever and it left her with a bad first impression. I would recommend going somewhere else. I was never asked what shape i wanted, and i was brought one wheel of colors and told to pick from that... there's no way those were honestly the only options they had, right?. I got a full set and they are SO thick, my guy was very thorough but omg... it took forever. The shape is very weird and boxy, which i'm not a huge fan of, and the underneath was never filed out. Well to be fair if you need the fastest dip nails in history THIS IS YOUR SPOT. I walked in and they were able to accommodate me right away for a dip manicure, fantastic. So I sit down , bare nails, no dip to remove mind you. I request two Colors with ombré sparkles on two nails, it doesn't feel like rocket science as I get this ALL the time . The women gets up annoyed and goes to go ask the manager\owner how much. Comes back 55$ (10$ over the 45$ normal dip price) , okay no problem . She doesn't give me ANY sort of an actual manicure , doesn't file, trim cuticles , cut my nails even just starts with the polish. I'm thinking... okay weird maybe she does that after ? My nails are a disaster as I am a nurse and use hand sanitizer 1000 times a day so I didn't come in with pristine nails ... Speed is clearly her motive , she is incredibly irritated that I want two colors and keeps shoving everything around. She starts and because I'm intimidate by her irritation I say the sparkle doesn't need to be ombré I'll just take it on top of the color . She procedes to finish my entire dip color, I don't think it's fair to call it a "manicure " in 15 min . Even when she did the top gel coat she would finish so fast that I would be 20 seconds of the minute cure time and hit my hand to pull it out and put the other. I finally said "I'd like to let it cure for the full minute , I'm a nurse and my nails will chip very quickly because of all the hand sanitizer." She looked annoyed And said it doesn't matter . I go to pay and he says 55$ i asked him how much for just one color gel and he says 45 , ombré is more. I tell him I didn't get ombré , he says 55$ . Okay... even a French manicure in dip is 50$ and a lot more work . I literally used the same amount of effort and polish as one color. Just dipped in different color containers ... but i paid And left 20% because covid ... people be struggling . When she was done my nails looked okay , my cuticles looked a disaster. Im not sure if she was tired , high or just really didn't want to be there but she spilled enough dip powder to do 4 peoples more nails , and kept cringing her eyes like she was trying to see clearly . i had no prior appt so i was a walk-in and the receptionist was very kind. when i asked for an acrylic set she went to ask some of the techs that were free, and the the woman who ended up doing my nails looked at me and rolled her eyes and gave me a look as if i was disturbing her. there was a little bit of a communication barrier because english was not her first language and i'm hard of hearing. any time i'd ask her to repeat herself she would sigh. i find that to be a little rude considering that at my job i have to work with a. lot of people who can't hear well and i don't get annoyed at them for that? the nails ended up very uneven with the acrylic application and not all the nails were the same shape/ shaped crookedly. i asked for a small design of a heart on one nail for each hand and i think i could've done a better job. she asked if i wanted gel which i said yes bc i like how gel color lasts. the quality was not worth the price. I was charged $80 not including tip and it should have been $55 at most. I am very disappointed in the quality and feel as though the nail tech took advantage of me because i'm A) a young woman, B) clearly don't get my nails done often, and C) not white. One thing she did do that i hasn't happened before when i get acrylic nails done, is that she cleaned up my cuticles, but i still done believe that justifies the price. If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. I came in here a few days ago and got a pedicure and noticed after I left that the nail polish was really uneven and sloppily done. I called to ask when I could come in to get it fixed and they said I could come in anytime and they would take care of it. However, when I went in and explained what happened all of the staff were very rude and told me I was going to have to wait 15-20 minutes even though they said over the phone that I could come in whenever! The staff were blatantly saying rude things about me and other customers and were practically yelling when I told them I couldn't wait that long.
