Just had worst pedicure I've ever experienced. I wish I had the name of the nail technician but there was absolutely no effort put into the treatment. I person execitung the service was absolutely horrendous. Additionally she cut my foot during the process. I had to stop the service halfway through and they still charged me full price. Having had spa nail appts for many years in Nantucket, Chatham, and Plymouth, for personal reasons, I had to change up my current salon in Plymouth and choose a salon closer to my residence and was told of LV Nails on Long Pond. From the moment I entered the salon, I felt very welcomed and attended to. My nail girl, Diane, was very pleasant and accommodating, especially since I have very sensitive nail beds; she understood and took care of me with complete gentleness. Diane proceeded to remove my prior nail treatment and applied a most beautiful French Dip manicure; my nails look just beautiful, and I cannot be happier. MY FEET FEEL SO GOOD!!! I've been coming here for five years now and have never once burned or cut and when I get my nails done, they stay good for 5 to 6 weeks! I had a nice, relaxing experience at LV Nails. The nail tech did a very good job AND gave me an excellent foot and leg massage.

My mom and I had a 10:30appt. We arrived at 10:20. They basically forced us into our seats immediately. I wanted to pick my color so I took 2 mins to look before my technician came and was basically yelling at me to sit down. Weirdest experience ever. Then I realized I think she was in a race with my mom's tech. We were under the hand dryers by10:35. I will never go back to this salon. I will add I booked 2 deluxe manicures which clearly this was not. Seriously? 15 mins!! I will say, if u wanted the fastest mani ever the this is your place. She kept saying she understood my situation & values her customers. I found this to be extremely great customer service. I just got my nails done from another salon so will go back to LV when my schedule allows me to (45 mins away). I'll leave another review once I go again. A cool feature here is that you can sign in, stack points with their reward program, and get a 15% discount on your birthday. Owner was amazing. She did push me into getting gel rather than the regular nail polish, but she gave me $7 off when my regular nail polish was only $6 cheaper---great upsell on her part! The technician I got was very rude to me...kind of made for a uncomfortable experience, but the owner chimed in to help with the misunderstandings. I have been to this salon on two separate occasions. The first time for a pedi and powder mani and the second only for a powder mani. I was pleased both times. The reason for four stars, while the nail tech is very creative and does an excellent job, they go a little over board with the cuticle trimmer! Both times they cut them too short. My cuticles aren't bad, so I may request they skip that part. read more

My daughter and I went in about a month ago for a mani/pedi. No communication at all! My pedi wasn't good but my daughter's was awful. The manicure was just OK. We went in on a Saturday and by Monday both of ours were peeling. I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try this place given the reviews, but it's close to my house, and after looking at the pictures it looked nicer on the inside than I would have guessed from looking at the outside, so I gave it a try. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon at noon. It was busy but not packed. I was immediately asked to sign in and pick a color, and while I deliberated over the huge number of colors by all the brands you know, they made the only chair ready for me. The water was just the right temp, they have plastic liners in the bins. The massage chair worked and was comfortable. All that's nice, but if the pedi sucks, it doesn't mean anything. My pedi was GREAT. For $27 I got very good cuticle work (like she got into the corner of the big nail to trim the nail correctly), salt scrub, oil massage, hot stones, and a super precise paint job. I'm always so nervous trying a new nail salon. A friend got a beautiful Christmas themed acrylic set here. I'm so glad I decided to come here for my Christmas set. The staff was so friendly and my nails are beautiful. Na is an artist and I'm excited to come back! At the end of my appointment the man working at the front desk gave me a Christmas present, which was a very good sized bottle of hand lotion (not just a free sample!) I usually don't write these...haven't gotten a mani and pedi in a while so I was excited. My friends from work had recommended this place saying it was great...my experience was less than that. I got a gel manicure and pedicure..the pedicure was less than relaxing...the scrub she practically rubbed my skin off and at one point was ringing off my legs and practically burnt me with the scalding water. When it was done my nails and toes some edges were still rough, not to mention the dry cuticles. The icing on the cake was that I went on a Friday and By Sunday they where peeling off... what a waste of 82 +tip. read more
