I was a patient of Dr. Brian Parker 12 years ago. I trusted him to perform a breast implant removal and replace. I originally had saline and they broke from the pressure of the milk when I was pregnant with my son. Fast forward to present time I went to see my original plastic surgeon also locally in town because I was experiencing breast pain and I just figured it was time to replace the implants since the average lifetime is 12-15 years. I was shocked when my original doctor had never notified me that the implants that I chose to have Dr. Parker replace were on FDA recall. I didn't hear from Dr. Parker with notice of this important information. I had silicone textured gummy bear implants. I had surgery yesterday to remove and replace them and to my and my doctors huge surprise he told me that Dr. Parker had never removed the original capsule that my first breast implant was in. So basically when my surgeon went in to do my removal and replace there were 2 capsules around 1 implant and the other implant was placed incorrectly as well. This is one of the reasons that I needed to get these implants out of my body. Dr. Parker's incisions were much bigger and longer than they needed to be to perform my breast revision. Several years ago I kept coming down with a variety of illnesses. Tumors, organ failure, one thing after another. I asked my GP to test me, nothing, I had to increase my BP meds and my cardiologist said nope nothing. I had mentioned my implants to each of them wondering if they were the cause as I was suffering such discomfort that at one point they sent me to PT and said I needed to exercise. WRONG! My implants were broken and climbing my chest wall. Dr. Parker took one look at me as I laid on the table as I was exhausted from my numerous "unknown" illnesses and knew right away. I went to Dr. Parker a year ago for a lower facelift and breast implants. I paid over $10,000 for a lower facelift and a year later, you can't even tell the difference from before and after. It was such a waste of money. I went to two other consults for breast implants, both said I needed a lift. Dr. Parker said I didn't..well I did. I went to Rocky for injections. I only asked for help with a crease between my eyes and some lines around my mouth. She, being a total salesperson, talked me into getting my whole forehead done, my lips, and around my mouth. It was over $1200. The crease never went away, my lips didn't look any different and the lines around my mouth were still there. Such a total rip off. Dr. Parker is great! I had an infected stitch and my surgeon was all the way in LA. He arranged for me to be able to meet with Dr. Parker. I needed to have an internal stitch removed right away and it was kind of an emergency. I was really freaked out about it and I had no idea what to expect. Now I don't know about you, but I'm not used to being operated on while I'm awake and without even a local. Give me general anesthesia and knock me the effff out please. Thank you! Well I worked myself up for nothing because the whole thing ended up being a piece of cake. Dr. Parker was gentle as can be and very patient with me, even though I was really scared and probably drove him nuts. I didn't feel any pain surprisingly, in spite of the fact that he had to dig in there quite deep. Dr. Parker & his staff are the best at what they do. If you are considering plastic surgery or any other cosmetic procedures (such as cool sculpting, botox, facials, etc) than I highly recommend getting a free consultation with them. BA Consultation For my consultation I had called right before Christmas so due to holiday season I waited to do my consult until just after the new year. I was seen by Dr. Parker only, there is no assistant. He does however have a female in the room with him at all times which I love! It not only makes the situation more comfortable, but is just a smart move in general. (By no means did I ever feel uncomfortable around Dr. Parker, just saying in general it's nice that he cares about his patient's experiences) I believe I was at the office for about 2 hours. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to make sure they were all answered. I briefly discussed what I wanted my end results to be, however, this gets done in more detail at your pre-op appointment. Let me note that I was completely open to suggestions from Dr. Parker and left my trust in his hands to do what was best for my shape and body. I scheduled my surgery about 2 weeks after my initial consult. BA Pre Op 3 weeks before surgery I met again with Dr. Parker to go over every little thing I needed to know including details on preparation for surgery, what to expect day of surgery, and post op care. I met with Jennifer as well to sign my documents, take pre-op photos, get lab orders, & prescriptions. BA Surgery The day of surgery was rough for me, I personally did not handle it well. I was in pain and emotional. However, Dr. Parker himself called my sister that night to check in on me. Staff at the surgery center were excellent and Dr. Parker himself was a perfectionist as usual. I think he re did his markings 3 times before beginning my procedure -- which I absolutely loved! I think it's important to find someone who is truly passionate at what they do. He wants nothing but the best for his patients. BA After Care I'm currently 7 weeks post op and couldn't be happier. I have had small bumps in the road, but nothing serious. I've been going for weekly follow ups. Dr. Parker and his staff were on top of everything that needed to be done. It is important to remember everyone's body is different and each person will have their own unique healing process. Just got off the phone with Melinda inquiring about Venus freeze packages. I have been to this office in the past and paid about 250 per session getting well over 12 sessions. I have also gotten facials and referred many family and friends to this office because of the great experience here! However this time around Melinda clearly stated that their prices had went up to 400 a session and couldn't do less than that. Not only did their prices go up dramatically but the way she presented it was extremely rude. As I'm speaking inquiring about the different packages she rudely tells me, "THAT'S THE PRICE AND YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IT OR NOT" then hangs up the phone on my face while I'm still talking. What poor customer service. Melinda and her horrible communication skills towards returning clients definitely sent me to another place. As a returning client who was not only looking to get this procedure and possibly more, I cannot consider them again. Hopefully they get a better staff that doesn't drive away their clients. As an update on this review, guys go somewhere else. Not only are they excusing the fact that it's ok to hang on up on a customers face, that is simply trying to understand the different packages they offer but they also charge more than double the amount that most places charge!Do yourself a favor and research these services elsewhere. I came to dr. Parker to fix my 4th breast job . My incision on my nipple won't heal properly and I get capsular contraction. Dr. Parker was sure he can fix my problem and give me a nice pair of soft breast . And so he did , for 3 months they were beautiful ! Then the left one got hard and raised higher . A week later the right implant did the same thing . Went back to see dr. Parker he try to pop them to soften them back up but that did not work . He said that there was an ultrasound machine that he's looking into acquiring for the clinic and that it would help with softening of the implants. No machine came about ..this December is 2 yrs after operation . Went to see dr. Parker caused left nipple was leaking out blood . I would wake up in the morning and my bra was full of blood . He said it was just the scar pulling on the inside . I mention to him that my mother was deathly ill and that I have been depress . And my depression pills were not helping . Basically when he heard that I was depress he wanted a clearance letter from my M.D stating that I was in good health to operate on . My MD deny the letter because of the liability . Parker told me to see a shrink and get clearance that way . 2 times I saw dr. Parker in December and nothing was done to help my situation . January 6, 2015 I woke up in excruciating pain !! My left implant had red blotches and swollen twice as big as the right implant . Both are deform ..I called dr. Parker's office and they won't book me an appt. with him . He won't even give me a quote if I didn't have the clearance letter . Sounds like he's more worried about his own ass then his patients health . I couldn't take the pain and went to see a different surgeon . He said I had blood in my left pocket and it's infected ! He gave me a shot in my bum , antibiotic and Percocet . I was in so much pain that 3 Percocet in 4 hrs made me feel loopy but the pain was bearable .This doctor tended to me even before I decided to have my surgery with him . And not like Parker who wants a clearance letter to cover his own ass . So when the swelled goes back down I will be in surgery so that this surgeon can fix dr. Parker mistakes . 5 implants in 20 years and dr. Parker is the worst I have came across . He seem nice at first till he sees his own mistake . Then I can't seem to find him anywhere ! This is the kind of dr. That shouldn't have a license . I'm disappointed for the false advertising / and hope that he gave me as I handed him 10k for surgery . Not only is this place a plastic sergons office, but they do skin care as well. I have naturally REALLY dry skin and I had a micro done with Aly. My face is so smooth now and I honestly feel great.
