I thought why not do my nails while I am at new Mexico? Got my gel nail with design done, with mani and pedi combo for a total of $60+ which honestly is reasonable given the things they have done. Do note that like all good nail places, there may be language barrier, and that there may be miscommunication, so make sure to make it clear what you want. All the staff are very good it seems like at what they do! The place is very spacious. I usually get infections or irrtation from time to time when doing my nails in California because they would dig too deep cutting my cuticles etc. But this place did not, I was skeptical at first but I waited a week to do my review because of that. The place have private parking and private bathroom. Solid place for nails! read more

Although we did have a wait, their service was very good. Donna and Andy did an EXCEPTIONAL job on mine & my daughter's mani & pedi; SO much attention to detail. Donna kept picking up the cuticle cutter through my services to catch things she missed. Seriously, EXCEPTIONAL. read more

We have been getting our nails and waxing done here for a long time...well today they lost our business. When you pay for a service you should be satisfied with that service. The short, older man did a sloppy job and was very rude. When we asked him to fix the nails he got upset. He told my daughter, "you sure are picky for a 14 year old". I told him no, they don't look good and we want it done right. He said, "well that's how I do it". I finally asked him to take off the nails so we could go somewhere else. He was upset and talking about us [in his language] to the other workers. If you decide to go there, don't let that guy do your nails. read more

Got a dip manicure here right before vacation. Bad idea. Within a few days every nail has chipped. I repaired the first few. Now it's too bad to even fix. Now I'm stuck on vacation with a crumbling manicure and nowhere to get it fixed read more

Summer time is here and it's time for a pedicure! My nails were in need of attention. Upon walking in just after 12, the staff greeted us and directed us to pick a color out. Right after, our seats were ready and they began our pedicures. Like other nail salons, they had a message chair and gave you a leg and foot massage. It was nothing special. A good time to relax and rest! They have a larger shop than it's competitors and staff ready to serve. If you are in a time crunch, it'll be best to call ahead or check in as I can assume during certain hours it'll be difficult to get in and out in a timely matter. read more

Would leave a 0 star review if I could, employees were very incompetent and rude. Switched nail techs THREE times because they couldn't perform a simple manicure. Absolutely pathetic. They all need to go to school for this or take some classes at least. Laughed the whole time then bragged about how good they did when it took 2 hours for a 30 minute men's manicure. Would not recommend to anybody. DO BETTER. Employee who didn't do my nails stated" you need to tip her, she worked hard"... worst minute and customer service I have EVER HAD. PATHETIC. read more

Called in on an early Friday morning (my day off), and asked for a spot to get a pedi. They had an opening within the hour I called- hooray! I got to the shop, pretty simple nothing really special, slim pickings for regular polish color but I know everyone is loving gels and dips these days.. My pedicure was GREAT. The woman who serviced me took her time, was through cleaning my toes and scrubbed away my callus (she was smaller so u get why she couldn't scrub too hard..) but overall it was great. I found a color which matches the one I have on my nails now (I know some ppl have to match haha), and then it was time to pay... The price for the Deluxe pedi is *DOUBLE* what they have listed here in their Yelp page!!!! A simple pedicure would've been $30 so my deluxe was $45.... When I questioned the price difference the only explanation offered was the upgrade I chose. (Insert sigh here). I'm being generous with a four star rating when really it could've gotten three and half, but she was nice and took her time with me, which I really appreciate. Heads up to those looking to get worked on, DOUBLE CHECK THEIR PRICES!!!! read more

My nails literally chipped 30 mins after leaving the shop, what a waste of time. The man painted the gel so thick it looked awful. First time in my life I haven't received compliments on my nails because the looked like a 4 year old applied the polish. Awful 0 star gel manicure. I read the reviews and chose to go here because I'm from out of town but avoid this place it's just a waste of money. read more

Don't waste your time here. $25 for a the worst pedicure I've ever received. Lady was so busy talking she could of put more energy into what she was getting paid for. Chair didn't work. I had to sit straight up and forward the entire time. She didn't seem to care. I asked her to add polish to an area she clearly missed. She seemed upset and said something because two other workers turned around. I always tip because I worked for tips in the past. But this was awful. Not to mention she used a purple sponge that clearly was not sterile because she pulled it out of her drawer, rinsed it off in my dirty water and put it back! I will probably have some type of infection after!! I'm so disgusted!!! read more

Very young boy did my pedicure. Like 16. I knew off the bat he didn't really know what he was doing. he was slow and clumsy. the white lines are very sloppy even tho he re did them about 15 times each toe... it was the end of the day and plenty of people were doing nothing and could've helped him. took forever. i choose the basic pedicure which was listed as $28. Charged me $50!!! most expensive pedicure i've ever gotten. And SO not worth it. UNBELIEVABLE read more

Disappointed with this place as my gel nail polish chipped after only 4 days. I was on vacation out of state or I would have returned and made them fix it. I paid good money for it too ($32). I only gave 2-stars because my pedicure stayed in tact for two weeks throughout the vacation luckily. So, I was thankful that at least my toenails looked nice. But, I won't be going back at all. read more

I came to get nail extensions off and get tips he didn't take my tips off and literally just put the gel over it I didn't wanna say anything bc I've been stressed and didn't wanna cry so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but it was still obvious I hated it and I payed 27 dollars and the guy wasn't rude but he definitely wasn't polite. read more

They take walk ins and luckily I was able to get in today before the work week starts up. I was taken in right away and my gel manicure came out great. Service was excellent, prices are very good and the hand massage at the end was great. read more

I was visiting Albuquerque and I needed a manicure. I chose this salon based on other Yelp reviews. The salon is clean and roomy with plenty of parking. I arrived around 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and I was seated immediately. The tools came directly out of the sterilizer and the workspace was very clean. They had a large polish selection and the tech was very gentle. I didn't feel rushed and I'm very happy with the final product. The price ($12 for a regular manicure) was reasonable for the service I received. Would have given five stars if the client chairs had been in better shape. Bottom line: I'll go back next time I'm in town. read more

DO NOT Patronize This Place! It is the WORST Salon EVER! My granddaughter new nail set was placed a quarter of an inch upward from the bottom cuticle up so you could see the natural nail! One hand was smooth one was rough, just missing a top coat but when she pointed it out, the tech huffed and puffed over her own mistake and the manager had to polish the other hand which took 3 minutes! The set was not smooth to surface! My daughter in laws manicure was awful she even left a strip on the inside of her thumb got up and walked off so she had to polish that part herself! Great little shop that I've been going to for about a year for pedicures. I've never done gel, but don't seem to need to; their regular polish stays on easily 3 weeks. In the summer, I'm addicted to French pedicures and these always look very conservative and classy. Today I went for a holiday deep red that had a bit of a gold sparkle by OPI. Of course nail color choice is not why I want to review... Today I also splurged for the "spa" pedicure. OMG. Peppermint mask on my feet then wrapped in a hot, moist towel. Then this orange-smelling salt scrub applied from the knees down. So delicious. And she seemed to really care that I enjoyed it. I must have looked a little stressed out when I arrived, as I was instructed to put my phone away and close my eyes. Even if you are not told, you should do this anyway. Yes, there is always the pressure of the upsell flower or service, but I'd happily pay for the spa upgrade any day. The woman massaged my legs and feet a lot...took a lot of time and care. I am a little curious as to their sterilization technique but I've seen the antibacterial additive in the water and have first-hand seen them scrub the tubs. Also, I've been going there often and long enough to have experienced a problem if there were one. (My old place used "sealed" equipment and I ended up with a nail fungus so I don't think that is a perfect telltale sign of cleanliness.) Overall, I love this little place. I usually spend about $25 or so from either upgrading to a French polish or the like, but my toes look fantastic. read more

This place is a pretty decent nail salon. It is convenient for me because we live in the area and the staff members are very friendly. The prices are pretty decent, and the quality of work is pretty good! The pedicures seem to last for a little over a month, but my only complaint is some of the nail polishes could be switched out (because they seem to be getting separated with age). This has been our go to place for about a year. You always know what to expect, and the girls are very efficient with their work. I recently got a pedicure here last week and I probably got the best design of my entire life! The girl that I got did an outstanding job, and I was just highly satisfied! This place seems to get very busy on certain days, but that seems to because of the quality work the ladies do. The customers all seem to be regulars and are very content with the work that gets done. I always get the regular pedicure because honestly I am very happy with the warm towel wrap and the lotion massage! You really can't beat this place! read more

Been coming here for 4 years and always leave the salon with pristine gel manicures. The pedicures are so relaxing, upgrade to the sea salt pedi and you won't be disappointed. The prices are beyond reasonable. Don't let the exterior fool you, LV is always clean and well maintained. It will remain my go to mani pedi provider for years to come. read more

Don't let the outside and surroundings turn you away! This salon is neat and well-maintained. There is hardly ever a wait (less than 10mins) and they do great, quality work! Some salons don't seem to value the customer unless you get their most exspensive and expansive treatment, but LV takes their time no matter what service you're getting. I've only had a pedicure so far, but I'm so happy I found my new go-to salon, I'll definitely be coming back more often! The prices are right and the salon is convenient. Love it! read more

My nails look nice but beware the price. Their sign says manicure 13.95 and gel Polish 4.95. I picked a sparkly color. Looked great but when I went to pay he said I owed $39!! He said gel manicure was $22 and the color I picked was $17 extra! Dishonest. I will never go back. read more

I received a pedicure and had gel on previously, and the lady who did my pedicure peeled and scraped off the gel on my nails with a cuticle clipper. She then charged me $5 for this removal.. which is dangerous and weakens the nails. I was completely shocked that a she did this on me and that a nail salon would promote this as if they have 0 education on the health and safety of how to remove gel polish. I paid $32 for a service to have this done properly. If I wanted to ruin my nails and be lazy I would have done this myself at home. When she finished the pedicure she didn't assist with my shoes or let me know they were dry to leave. I noticed she didn't properly clean off or remove the nail polish on my skin either so it looks smudged and as if it was painted by a child. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied in the service I received. I called to talk about this and they did not apologize or assist in helping with the problem. read more

I was seen and one of the lady's told me "we'll take your nails off, and if it hurts too much then we'll do a soak off instead". I was shocked and confused by this, but I continued with the service. The technician then ripped my nails off one by one. She placed a nail tip underneath my existing acrylic and used a fast, ripping motion to remove my nails. By the second nail I saw tons of blood, which she just said "I'm so sorry" and continued to rip my other ones off. I then looked closer at my bleeding middle finger to find multiple layers of my nail ripped off - completely uninhabitable for a nail tip to be put on for my new set. The entire experience of her ripping my nails off was extremely painful. I then told them I no longer wanted the service, just to please remove the remaining polish. She then, without letting me know, put a huge squeeze of nail glue on my open wound in my nail. It burned so bad and my nail was throbbing for a couple hours following. I am extremely heartbroken and disappointed. I wanted to have my nails done for this weekend, and not only did she damage my nails and ruin them completely, she took away the ability to even get my nails done for a few months until I let my nail heal. I understand mistakes happen - and I'm not sensitive to having a small cuticle cut every once in a while - but this was pure mistreatment. I am fully capable of taking my own nails off at home, which is why I choose to go to the salon and get a gentle soak off instead. I never once felt listened to nor felt cared for as a customer.

I had the gel polish done and by the next day one had peeled off and another one was getting ready too. I ended up just peeling off the rest of the polish from the other nails and chalked it up as another experience.
