We love this salon. Especially for pedicures. The salon is clean and the staff is always very nice! The pedicures are reasonably priced and last a long time.

This was a really good nail salon. I was a walk in and was welcomed in and taken right away. The color selection is so good. The music is nice. The salon was clean and quiet and the nail technician I had was very nice. Her attention to detail was really nice. My nails look great and I will come again. I'd recommend to anyone.

I went into this salon for a nail fill. The tech asked me what I would like, and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I was under the assumption that this service was $65, and I asked her about any additional charges. She said there would not be any. But when I went to pay, my total was $82!! And when I asked about the price the young lady at the desk was VERY VERY rude. She implied that I couldn't pay for it, but I was simply wanting and explanation for the price difference!! She said there were extra charges to do my fill, very snarky. I will NOT be coming back and I will be disputing this charge. I am very unhappy.

I made an appointment on line early in the morning and they called me back later that they could take me in at my requested time. I arrived and was promptly seated and my mail technician was Han. She was very efficient and gave me a wonderful manicure and pedicure. I asked to a paraffin wax also for my hands and it was $15 extra, with the message lotion on my arms, that normally is standard with a manicure. When it was time to pay, there was a notice on the receptionist table that there was a 2.5% charge on your total bill, if you paid by credit or debit card. I paid by debit as I did not have $91.72 in cash with me. With the added charge, and a reasonable tip, that just seemed unnecessary to me, the patron. I understand that they had just gotten new message chairs, but that is the cost of doing business and this charge for using a card, just seemed wrong.

Very clean, great service, and incredibly done nails. 10/10 experience getting a tortoise shell full set and deluxe pedicure. Definitely coming back!

Last salon I went to my bows, and pearls came off within a day. But came here and the tech made sure and guaranteed my bows won't come off. It's been two weeks and bows still on love my nails. Very calming as well while getting your nails done

Been here about three time. The dip manicure skills are not great. All three appointments looked like thick crap, very THICK edges. I pointed out and they just don't seem to care. Can't say I would recommend. It really seems nail salons don't want return customers

I really enjoy this place for a pedicure! The staff is accommodating, professional and thorough! As funny as it sounds, I've never had a professional pedicure before (I know! Where have I been my whole life!?) This place made me feel comfortable and pampered! It's gonna be real difficult for me to go to another spot for my pedicure needs!! I got a pedi and a full set the lady's were really nice I believe it was Tina that did my nails I didn't get the name of the lady who did my pedi but she was nice as well she gave me a water and the two lovely lady's stayed past closing to do my nails and toes she put my socks and shoes on for me and gave me a good foot massage this salon is really clean the only thing is for the nails love them but I was charged for xtra long nails when they are more like a medium maybe it's just me because I'm used to really long nails it was about 150$ for my nails and toes a little bit pricy but nothing really bad to say would recommend this place especially on the pedicures here amazing

Walked in today, no appointment 20-25 minute wait. Once a technician came to me, it was worth the sitting tight. Hannah, took great care of my feet. Definitely will be returning. Such a clean and professional facility.

I came here because the reviews were overall positive, but was very disappointed. I purchased the Deluxe option ($45 before tax and tip). The whole process was extremely rushed and sloppy. My nails were cut very jagged, and were not even filed to smooth the edges. The paint job was also very poorly done as well. The whole process took 20 minutes, including a maybe 1 minute massage? Everyone was very nice and friendly, but I won't return after something so overpriced and poorly done. Edited and updated to show a second photo, with a cut I did not notice until the next day.

I've had my nails done here about five times now, and unfortunately, my most recent visit was a very disappointing experience. I asked for a blue cat-eye design (I'll include photos for reference), but the color turned out gray instead of blue. Before the technician applied the second coat, I politely let her know that I wasn't happy with the color. Instead of offering a solution, her response was, "Well, I already did one coat on all 10 fingers." I explained again that I didn't like the color and was hoping we could fix it, but my concerns were completely dismissed. There was no effort to accommodate my request or make sure I left happy with the service. Despite being unhappy with the final result, I still paid the full price because that's what's expected of customers. I just wish that same level of accountability and customer service was expected from the business. If a customer respectfully expresses that they're unhappy before the service is finished, there should at least be an attempt to correct the issue rather than dismissing their concerns. I'm sad to add a review being that I've gone here for quite sometime now.. these past two nail appointments haven't been good. They schedule too many people and the workers are going as fast as they can to finish up with you for the next appointment. I asked for coffin nails .. didn't get coffin shape. I asked for ombré with glitter .. Loan did what she could work with.. just to move on to someone else. I didn't say anything just because I wanted to get out of there... there was glue all over my fingers and when she was filing my nails damn she was running a marathon. The last straw for me was when asked by Tina what I wanted I told her a new set and she mentions "you want plain just because we're busy under her breath" what am I chopped liver .. this appointment costed me $100. I'm just glad there's other salons that I can try out. Won't be going there again . read more

I'm here visiting for the Balloon Festival so my friends and I decided to get pedicures. Everyone was so friendly when we came in. My nail technician was Ha and she was friendly as well and made me feel comfortable. If I ever come back, I would definitely visit this location. One note, they do charge a percentage for using a credit card so I would recommend bringing cash. read more

I love coming here. Tina always does my manicure and she's always so fast and does an amazing job, i get compliments on my nails! "Where do you go?" Nirvana on San Mateo!!! But honestly every one here is great and very attentive to what you want and need. Prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for: a good nail job. I have been going to nirvana nails for almost 3 years now. I have never left with poor quality work. They may take their time but they do things properly. They actually soak off the gel on your toes. Most salons just peel it off which is terrible for your nail bed and over nail health. They never rip off my acrylics. They soak them. As they should do! Does it take a little longer? Sure. But how can you sacrifice nail health? I've been getting my acrylics done for almost 10 years and this is the healthiest my actual nails have ever been. They take their time to make sure everything is CLEAN. Nobody wants a weird fungus from getting their nails done. So thank you for keeping everything clean! The family that runs the salon are so nice and they all work as a team. I booked a huge reservation prior to my wedding. I had all my family there getting our nails done. They were so good to all of us. Even my grandmother & she's picky!! If you are looking for a chop shop nail salon this is NOT the place for you. If you are seeking quality work this is the place for you. read more

I debated on writing a review or not, but my visit was so disappointing. I had made an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure, i wanted to have my nails done for an upcoming vacation. I ended up waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time before I was sat. They started my manicure first, but then the woman handling my manicure got too busy with other clients and had me switch stations to begin the pedicure. About halfway through my pedicure the manicurist came over and did my fingers while my pedicure was taking place. It was really stressful and not relaxing at all. They kept rushing the woman doing my pedicure asking her how much longer. I don't think I would be as disappointed if my nails had been done well, my gel polish started chipping less than a day after getting them done. Due to customer service and poor quality I don't think I'll be back. read more

Nice salon. Made advance appt. Excellent pedicure. Original spot was pedicure and manicure with gel. I asked to try dip. Dip service was rough. Provided no manicure but immediately started dip. Unfortunately, I have skin hanging around the dip and nails and it is not a good look. I tried to ask why things were going differently. At end they stated you have to ask for a manicure separately. I did in making appt, I wouldn't suggest a dip service my nails don't look professional at all and they did not offer to address this in any other way. The pedicure was relaxing and nice. Regarding the dip gor nails for me I wouldn't return. No pride in the work and had to ask to get color cleaned around the finger left on. Tech also scraped with their fingernail on the area outside nail bed to remove the excess color which had occurred during service causing more skin fragmentation outside bail skin as this was dry skin. They chose to not provide the manicure I had booked. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. It is no easy task to find a clean, sanitary, state board abiding nail establishment in this city- but this is one of them. I have had the pleasure of visiting now three times for my pedicures and I have been blown away. As a professional in the industry myself, I know the proper steps for sanitization and what is and isn't okay. When I come here I don't have to worry because it is obvious that integrity is at the top of their priority list! The ambiance is open and relaxing. Everything is new and sparkling clean. Their attention to detail and time they take for their services is excellent, I've never left anything less than utterly impressed! I've found my pedicure spot for life! read more

So, I'm updating my review because I have been to Nirvana 2 more times and have 2 poor experiences. Do not have your nails done by Anna. See the photos I posted. I asked her to clean up my cuticles and she attempted to do so with the grinding tool, which was still a poor job. Also, do not have your nails done by Ha. Both ladies do sub-par work. I'm so sad because this nail salon seemed promising. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. Called for an appointment for 5 new sets. They got it mixed up and tried to sit us for pedicures. We told the man we were doing nails not toes. We then sat for over an hour waiting because they only had 4 people to do acrylic nails. We finally got seated and everything was so rushed. It wasn't enjoyable at all, we fault like a burden to their day. They charged us over $80 for each set and they were all SIMPLE nails. Nothing crazy or hard. I myself got short square nails with French tips. They charged me $45 for the set $15 for get polish? $5 for a special nail shape? When is square a special shape. And $10 for the French tip. It was absolutely ridiculous and me and my family will never be coming back. Too expensive and the work is sloppy and rushed. read more

I am glad that i found this place. My first experience of pedicure started from here. Since then i am never disappointed with the service they provide. I would rather say they give service with experience and knowledge. I have ingrown toenails and i come here every two months for pedicure with Tina. I absolutely love this place. I came for the first time in December for my birthday and got a pedicure. I had to come back because of the amazing work. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is nice. They do amazing, and the prices are affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great new regular nail place. :) read more

I got the most expensive pedicure available at the time (#TreatYoSelf) as I was in town for a wedding and wanted to do something a little luxurious. After tax it was $75. Yes Natural Nail Boutique is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY but if there's no appointments available you can always try checking the following day (that's what I did; I checked on a Wednesday with no luck and then when I looked again on Thursday there suddenly was a Friday appointment available). The vibe is luxury without being uppity. Wish we had a place like this in Reno, NV! What a treat!

I was seen and one of the lady's told me "we'll take your nails off, and if it hurts too much then we'll do a soak off instead". I was shocked and confused by this, but I continued with the service. The technician then ripped my nails off one by one. She placed a nail tip underneath my existing acrylic and used a fast, ripping motion to remove my nails. By the second nail I saw tons of blood, which she just said "I'm so sorry" and continued to rip my other ones off. I then looked closer at my bleeding middle finger to find multiple layers of my nail ripped off - completely uninhabitable for a nail tip to be put on for my new set. The entire experience of her ripping my nails off was extremely painful. I then told them I no longer wanted the service, just to please remove the remaining polish. She then, without letting me know, put a huge squeeze of nail glue on my open wound in my nail. It burned so bad and my nail was throbbing for a couple hours following. I am extremely heartbroken and disappointed. I wanted to have my nails done for this weekend, and not only did she damage my nails and ruin them completely, she took away the ability to even get my nails done for a few months until I let my nail heal. I understand mistakes happen - and I'm not sensitive to having a small cuticle cut every once in a while - but this was pure mistreatment. I am fully capable of taking my own nails off at home, which is why I choose to go to the salon and get a gentle soak off instead. I never once felt listened to nor felt cared for as a customer.

I can't tell you how much i appreciated that level of understanding and flexibility. I would definitely recommend Natashia to others, especially if they're looking for blonding services. The space itself was very clean and had a boho southwest vibe too. It's dry cute and Natashia told me that the owner made the drift wood light fixture over the hair-washing sinks herself! How cool is that! I also like that this salon has a transparent payment structure and you can choose a stylist that aligns with your budget. I had just finished a big project and decided to treat myself. Instead of going to my usual place, I went somewhere closer. For some reason I thought they closed at 8pm, but when I got there the door said 7pm. That left them 20 minutes to do my nails. I couldn't do that to them. So I went in with the intention to make an appointment for next week. They were like why don't you do your nails now since you're already here? Because they insisted, I sat down at a table. I was hoping my request wasn't too crazy. I just wanted pink and white dip powder acrylics on my real nails. I know most places advertise dip powder as healthy for your nails and many people may disagree, but anything do to your nails is unhealthy. I just like the dip powder because I like how hard it is. I am a person that hit my hand on everything so my real nail will break easily. So the dip powder supports my real nails. Anyways, the technician was very gentle. She was quick, but still diligent. My nails turned out a lot better than I had thought with the time given. She was able to finish my nails a little pass 7pm. I feel the security on my nails so I know they won't chip easily. So if you are looking for a new go to place, I would recommend here. read more
