I had two swivel gliders reupholstered by Len and he did an excellent job. He was able to guide me through how much fabric to buy and what type of fabric to buy. Communication about the project, as well as drop off and pick up of the chairs was easy. The craftsmanship of the project is outstanding. I am thrilled with my new chairs. read more

Len explained every possibility about the dynamics of my upholstery request, which was padding and covering a full length support board to go under cushions on an older sofa. He completed this job in a short amount of time, at a very reasonable price and delivered it to me. The result was beyond my expectations, the work of a true craftsman and honest man. I would wholeheartedly recommend Len/LV Upholstery to anyone and would not think of going anywhere else for future projects. Thank you, Len. read more

After receiving a very fair and reasonable quote from Len, I took my treasured old swivel-rocker, which had belonged to my grandmother, to LV Upholstery to get reupholstered. I already had the fabric I wanted to use (but I noticed a big fabric sampler in the shop). We discussed what I did and didn't want, e.g., no skirt; no piping; just simple, and he listened carefully. I asked how long would the job take? He said 2 weeks or so. And indeed, in just 2 weeks and a couple of days, I got a notice that my chair was ready. I rushed to pick it up, and I am so pleased with the results! Thank you, Len! read more

Len is AMAZING! His craftsmanship is unparalleled. He re-upholstered 8 dining room chairs for us with leather. He gave us options, ordered materials and did the work quickly and well. They are better looking now than when new. His rates are very reasonable considering how talented he is. Look no further...he's an upholstery maven. read more

Needed to get six vintage dining room chairs reupholstered. Found Len at LV Upholstery here on Yelp and he had great reviews. He was easy to work with, offered competitive pricing and was geographically close by. I brought the material and foam to him and he did a great job!! I wasn't sure if there would be any gathering of material around the edges but they are super smooth and look great!! Plus they were done earlier than quoted which was also a nice surprise. I highly recommend him and would definitely return if I have future upholstery needs. read more

He did a great job upholstering my outdoor daybed/futon. I took the original to 2 other places that were recommended to me by others and they didn't want to touch it. It was beautifully done and it was done in a timely manner. I will definitely go back to him for any other upholstery. read more

Len did an outstanding job reupholstering an antique armchair that's been in my family for generations. It was in rough shape but he was familiar with the style and confident in restoring it. He gave me helpful pointers about what to look out for when choosing a quality fabric and was spot-on with his recommendation for how much to purchase. His own quote was extremely reasonable. He is a true craftsman -- the work was beautiful. Len was easy to communicate with, and he did the work in precisely the amount of time he estimated. Very highly recommend! read more

I had a 10 year old leather coffee table that my puppy demolished and LV Upholstery did a magnificent job of repairing and reupholstering it. Their prices are very reasonable and they do an excellent job. If you need anything reupholstered, give your business to this company. There is no question in my mind who I will use for future reupholstering. read more

Len has done upholstery work for us on and off for the last three years. He is terrific, extremely professional, prompt and reasonably priced. The furniture we did for us three years ago is still beautiful and we use it every day. He recovered a love seat and two chairs. Now we just had him upholstery an old Stickley couch and it is magnificent. Len is a true artist who I highly recommend. Robin H. read more

Excellent response time from when I first requested a quote to when the final work was completed. I had a vinyl couch that needed repair. Len promptly returned my phone call and since the company is local, he was able to come right over, assess the scope of the repair and quote accordingly. Two weeks later, I am loving my couch all over again! read more

I wanted to have a new leather cushion made for our antique Arts and Crafts-style rocking chair. I contacted Len, from LV Upholstery. He suggested a design and materials that would complement the chair, and make it comfortable to sit in. He also could provide the color of leather that I wanted, and do the work for a reasonable price. Len fabricated the cushion the following week, and the result was perfect. The cushion made the chair look great, and the layered materials in the cushion were extremely comfortable to sit on. His workmanship was also highly skilled. I would gladly recommend LV Upholstery for any future upholstery work. read more

My mom needed 6 chairs to be reupholstered. 2 chairs needed the seat plywood replaced and one chair need the rail and back frame repaired/ glued. I had 2 different quotes from other places. Len from LV Upholstery beat all of them. Len is polite, professional and easily reachable. He came over to assess the damages and gave an affordable quote. It was great to get advice on what pattern and yards of fabric to get by texting Len on a Sunday afternoon (He is off). He finished the work 3 days ahead of schedule. My mom was pleased and happy of the job well done by Len. The chairs looks great, sturdy and feel comfortable since Len added 1 inch foam cushions on the seats. We look forward in dealing with Len again when we need other furnitures reupholstered since we had an easy and enjoyable experience. read more

Len did an excellent job restoring the surface of my leather couch, over the years wounded by my dog's nails, to a condition that I recall it looking when I bought it years ago. And Len's work is fairly priced and Len? He is a very nice man who showed up exactly when he said he would and stayed for an hour and a half; the amount of time he'd estimated it would take. The man knows what he's doing. read more
