I suggested that she send me a photo halfway through the cleaning and I would send payment at that time. She declined and canceled my scheduled appointment. I understand that businesses have the right to establish policies to protect themselves. However, those policies should be communicated before accepting a booking--not a month later, just days before the scheduled service. Changing the requirements at the last minute and canceling the appointment left me scrambling to find another cleaning service before returning home from vacation.
