When I got home and looked at my receipt, I noticed I had been charged for a pedicure instead. The receipt showed $55, but when I called the salon to verify, I was told the correct charge should have been $45. I decided to let it go because I understand that mistakes can happen. Unfortunately, it happened again on my second visit, and this time it was even worse. I was overcharged again and had to call the owner to have the bill corrected. What concerns me most is the lack of transparency during checkout. Customers cannot clearly see the amount being charged before paying because the payment screen does not display the total until after the transaction is complete and the receipt is printed. That makes it very difficult to verify the charges before payment. I was also surprised to see that the suggested tip options started at 16% and went up to 25% and 30%, which felt excessive. I believe customers deserve clear, accurate pricing and the opportunity to review their total before their payment is processed. Based on my experience, I encourage others to carefully check their receipts and verify that they are being charged correctly. Sadly, after being overcharged twice, I have lost confidence in this salon and will not be returning.

I gave Lily Nails multiple chances before deciding to write this. I've had two pedicures here, and unfortunately neither experience met my expectations. During one visit, my technician accidentally cut the side of my toenail and nicked my skin. Thankfully it didn't become infected, so I decided to give them another chance, thinking it may have just been an isolated mistake. Most recently, I stopped in at the last minute because I needed cat eye gel polish removed from my fingernails and cat-eye gel removed from my toes before a medical procedure. They were able to take me right away, which I appreciated. What concerned me was the removal process. The technician initially tried to pry the gel off using another fake nail instead of filing it properly and soaking it off. I specifically asked if she could please soak them because I didn't want my natural nails damaged. While using the electric file, she also caught the skin around my nail, which hurt enough that I instinctively pulled my hand back. I then felt as though I was being scolded for moving, even though I had reacted because it was painful. I appreciate that they were able to fit me in without an appointment, but after several visits, I don't feel comfortable returning. There are many excellent nail salons in the area, and based on my experiences, I would recommend trying one of those instead. I truly wish this review had been more positive, but I believe it's important to share an honest experience.
