10/10 highly recommend! Esperanza was incredibly accommodating in helping me to setup a lymphatic massage for my former army roommate who had just had knee surgery and lives in Miami. I am sure many of you watched a million YouTube videos and saw countless women screaming and crying through their post surgery lymphatic drainage massages . It's enough to make you not want to get surgery. Well I'm here to tell you it doesn't have to be that way! Esperanza educated me that your body has been put through major trauma during surgery and the post operative massage is not meant to add to that trauma. She will open the drains within your body (the lymphatic system) and gently move the fluid into those drains. It's funny...you can actually hear the fluid draining as she's moving it . I was 2 weeks post-op and was told by my surgeon that results would be optimal with lymphatic drainage massage. Later that evening, I researched and found Esperanza through a google search on "lymphatic drainage massage" and close to my zip code. Her advertisement was the first one to show up. I researched her detailed website (alymphaticmassage.com). The website is very well put together and prices are listed. I sent her an inquiry through her website about a lymphatic massage and she answered me within an hour. She does give discounts if you purchase a package deal. Esperanza's communication is outstanding and she knows her craft of the lymphatic system very well. She has done this type of massage for many years. Upon meeting her for the first time, she confirms her agreed appointment time with you a day prior and she is extremely punctual (Usually 5 mins early.) This is greatly appreciated. She arrives at your house very well prepared. She brings her own massage table, gloves, lotions, and other lotion medicine to help you heal. She has soothing music playing in the background the whole time too. After the first massage, I decided to purchase a package deal from her of 10 massages. She is such a nice and professional person. She doesn't mind talking to you during the massage. She has a lot of interesting things to say. She is fluent in English and Spanish. I can honestly say she helped my healing process and I'm grateful to have met her. I consider her a friend now after having her come over to help in my healing process. Look no further for a post op massage! I had Lipo 360 done and through a referral of a friend I called Esperanza (the day before My surgery) She advised she wouldn't see me until I had my post op appointment with the doctor- which was my first good sign of professionalism and care. My surgeon who's been practicing for over 20 years advised that my massages do not have to hurt and be crucial. Esperanza has a lot of knowledge of the lympathic system and first stimulates the body before beginning the massages. I'd fall asleep every time... lol then she begins the massages and drains out the fluids. She's patient (im intolerant with pain) and I ALWAYS feel lighter and better after our sessions. Ms. Esperanza is a God-sent. I contacted Ms. E a few wks before my procedure, and she emailed back right away. I had my first appointment at 1 day postop, and she is very knowledgeable in lymphatic drainage massage. I was very nervous, and in pain since this was my first time with lipo. But there is something very calming, nurturing, and motherly about her. She knows how to soothe your nerves and make you feel like everything will be ok. I am an RN for 17 yrs myself, but when the tables have turned and you become a patient, it really helps to have someone who is as knowledgeable and nurturing as Ms. E. I was searching for in-home massages in Google to avoid having to drive places (after a BBL it is very uncomfortable). I am so glad I found Esperanza. My first impression from her is that she's extremely professional, always on time to the appointments which is incredible considering Miami's crazy traffic. In regards to the massage you could see right away the many years of experience she has. She explained to me that she would be first stimulating my lymphatic system, which would then help drain the fluid out with the actual massage (I didn't have JP drains, just open incisions). She has such gentle hands, which is a relief because lipo HURTS. But don't be fooled, when the draining stage is over and the tissue under your skin becomes hard (normal healing process) she goes in!!!
