So many things wrong with this massage therapy business…read more First, I was charged more than what I was quoted over the phone for a 90 minute massage. The 90 minute massage was OK, but the masseuse was definitely not professionally trained. I was never offered any of the different types of massages that are advertised on their website. I was only offered the option of how much pressure. Also, there was no introduction from the masseuse, not a friendly atmosphere. The massage was performed on a bed that is more like a small mattress with a recess for your face instead of a massage table that is designed for that purpose which would have been more comfortable, especially for the neck and head. The relaxing music was nice but it was on loop and the same melody played over and over throughout the 90 minute massage. The room was cold and the bed was unheated, which made it uncomfortable because heat is very important for loosening and relaxing the muscles in preparation for a massage.

I took the stairs to the second floor and went to the suite. When I entered the office, the owner, Alex, and a staff member greeted me right away. They had me fill out a form for my basic information. Then Alex asked me what kind of massage I wanted (deep-tissue, stretching, areas to concentrate on, any pains, etc.) and if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. I didn't have a preference for the gender of the masseuse, so Alex did my massage. He showed me the room and it was pretty cozy. The massage bed was heated and wow! It felt amazing already! After taking off my clothes (except undergarment), I laid on the bed under the covers face down. Then Alex knocked and came in, and confirmed what to work on in the 60 minutes. He started with my back and neck and worked his way to arms/hands, legs/feet, and then put hot towels on my back. It felt awesome. I thought the massage was finished but Alex instructed me to turn over, so I was like--wow, the massage was so good that I thought it was done already. He did stretches, physical therapy moves, massaged my collar bone areas (my first time), and asked me how the pressure was throughout the session. He was very professional, respectful, and passionate. You can tell that he was good because he pinpointed where my pains were and asked if what he was doing was helping to relieve the areas. At the end of the session, Alex thanked me and told me to take my time in the room and he will be at the front. When I went to the front after getting dressed, he gave me a bottled water and asked me how I felt, if the pains are still there, and what did I think of the massage. He said he is the owner and told me about the specials they are having if I wanted to go back. He was not pushy at all and was respectful. His English was not great but he really tried and we were able to communicate anyways. The plaza itself is kind of dingy but the massage place is fine in my opinion. It's truly a gem in Miami. The restroom isn't very appealing design-wise but it is functional. I would recommend this business, as the service itself was great and parking is free. You can really tell that the owner really cares and wants the best for his clients. I would definitely come back again.

I understand that Tatiana is the proprietor but she should not allow her staff to walk in during appointments to ask questions and gather supplies. This is simply unprofessional and disruptive to my experience. Sadly, I no longer go to this Spa because it was getting much too frustrating for me to appreciate the experience. She said I had an infection on my skin because of pimple patches (it was just three mini pimples on the lower side of my face) and she proceeds to SPRAY salicylic acid on the area and ended up spraying on my chin where I had nothing wrong at, when she sprayed I literally SAW STARS but I stayed quiet because I assumed it was part of the procedure, when I got up my face was red and irritated but I thought it was because of the extractions, the next morning I notice my skin BURNT on my chin and where I used to have the three pimples, she told me to apply cortisone which I'm glad I went to a pharmacist about because they said that would only irritate the area more. In conclusion, do NOT come here they do not truly care about your skin and your best results they assume your skin is going to endure what they use on everybody else and don't truly realize people with sensitive skin exist. I only got my refund because I asked for it, if I wouldn't have asked for it I doubt they would've offered, won't be returning.
