I called and no answer (more than likely with a client), however I did get a return call that day and had something scheduled for the very next day! I received an estimate over the phone and when Tim arrived, we paid what the estimate was (Not forgetting to tip of course ) . Sweet how you start your day at 8am on a Saturday with moving furniture for your appointment at 9-12 and they don't show up. Awesome that their tech who was supposed to call at 830 never called. Even better that you email Tim and leave two messages for him without a response. Big mistake going out and trying to save money with a company that has one contact and a Facebook page as their main source for advertising and marketing. Going to get the rug doctor for the BBQ tomorrow and going to a LEGITIMATE business for the next time I need to get my carpets cleaned. Not reliable and Tim needs to figure out how to communicate... I found Tim's carpet cleaning service on a flash sale deal site and I admit I reached out to him directly to see if he could honor the price (I know it's wrong to go behind the site's back, but I feel bad they take such a huge cut from independent workers). The email communication with Tim was very prompt and he was friendly and flexible. I mentioned in the email that I wanted to see if there were any hidden costs because I have been tricked before in the past from carpet cleaners. He assured me there were none and I made my appointment. The day of, he called a couple of times to give me a status of where he was. I really appreciated this! When he arrived, he was very friendly. Then... he tells me that he forgot to tell me about the travel cost. : | This annoyed me severely since I had specifically asked him before if there were hidden costs. He said because I'm such a great customer, he will give me half off (still $20 - a big percentage of the $59 deal). The attitude of him making it sound like he was doing me a favor annoyed me, especially since (a) I asked about this previously and he had plenty of time to warn me about it being that he called me so many times that day (b) I already saved him a chunk of change for going around the flash sale site. The job he did was great and the carpet smelled very good afterwards, so I can attest for his good work. The other thing I didn't care for was that he did not put the furniture back. The carpet cleaning companies I've used in the past usually put the furniture back with plastic on the pieces that touch the carpet. They came promptly and serviced efficiently and thorough. The only issue I had was that it was not as deep a cleansing as I had expected since there were a few spots on the main floor carpet that were still there after the job was done. Tim was very responsive when I called to make an appointment, finding an immediate Saturday opening. He also discounted additional services making the grand total the cheapest of the 3 carpet cleaning companies we've tried. The serviceman was atypically EARLY to the appointment. He worked quickly and efficiently. For this particular job, we were not looking for cleanest possible, rather a fast and mostly clean job to remove pet stains and odor. I originally took a chance on Lynch Co thanks to a Living Social Deal. And while we initially had some challenges with scheduling - some on his side, some on mine - after we got the appointment set the rest of the experience, and the results, were truly fantastic!! As I understand it, Tim has a couple of folks that also work for him, but he was the one to do my carpets, so while I can't speak for the others Tim's friendly personality, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond left me feeling confident enough in his work to happily pay extra (even when I hadn't intended to, and at almost double what I'd initially expected to pay) to also have my stairs done and made even that higher price feel like a value. Now, let me clarify - he didn't hard-sell or anything along those lines.. His demeanor - a perfect combination of friendliness and frankness/honesty - and his willingness to share tips n' tricks for carpet care and cat-fur control just really conveyed both his expertise and customer-service-centric approach to his work, which I greatly value & appreciate, and which is, indeed, rare, so I opted to take full advantage of both his talents and wisdom. From my experience,Tim takes his field, business, and client relationships seriously while simultaneously balancing maintenance of a sense of humor, flexibility, respect and readiness for anything that may come his way. Pleased to be able to update my initial review of this company. Owner Tim Lynch called after he read my first Yelp review, and apologized for the lack of communication that resulted in the original appointment being cancelled. He was sincere, apologetic and wanted to make things right. He offered to come out the following day and do our carpets for free. Neither my husband nor I felt good about him giving away his services; everyone deserves to get paid for doing their job. Tim came out on the 18th and cleaned our carpets, even removing some of the stains our new puppy created on our beige floor. He was efficient and the results were pretty good; not great, but that may be due to the severity of the damage that's been inflicted on our carpets, so I can't fault Tim for that. All in all, we were pleased with his responsiveness and his efforts to make things right. That in itself is the mark of a business owner who understands the importance of good customer relations, and I'm glad that Tim took my remarks seriously. I saw the LivingSocial deal, but went to the website and saw they had a better deal. *Hint to deal people like me, do your homework, you might find a better deal directly if you check a company's website first before making a purchase!* Anywho, I emailed the email address on the site. They got back to me about 3 hours later, so pretty quick I must say! They confirmed the price on the web, and said the earliest they could come was today (four days after the quote, not bad!). The only fustrations I had were two. One, I had to email twice to get a final confirmation on the time for today, as I was planning to take the morning off from work to get this done. The other thing was they were suppose to be here at 10am today, but at 10:10 (my time is preciouse like everyone elses, yo!) there was no call or anything. So I called and left a message. Jim called me back claiming he left me a VM that he was in a car accident. I checked my VM and never got one. Anywho, he show up at 12:30. I was a little fustrated with that, but within 20 minutes of him entering my whole 1 bedroom apartment's carpet was cleaned. I got to work at 1:45pm. Thank goodness I have a pretty easy going boss, or this would have been a problem. I am not sure about the whole car accident thing, but it was a sure a lag; And I see other reviews of late or missing the appointment all together. So I have to say, like that rap song....."things that make you go, hmmmm". If anything, he should have offered me a further discount for my inconvience, but since he did a quick and good job, and was also pleaseeant, sooo.....I decided to let that fly, and give 4/5 (minus one for the lag, inconvience and getting to work late). read more

I had bought this carpet cleaning Amazon Local deal for 2 stains and 2 emulsification treatments ($59) given that I had seen great reviews on yelp. I used it today because I am moving out. Unfortunately, my experience was unsatisfactory for the following reasons: 1. They were supposed to show up between 1-3pm but they finally arrived at 3:30PM. Thankfully, I had kept my day open for this so it didn't bother me as much. 2. Tim had told me over the phone that if there are more stains and spots that need to be removed than he'd do it for additional $30 which I was willing to go with. When he came and assessed the apartment, he said that he will rework on those stains that do not go away in the 1st round. However, after finishing the 1st round at 5PM, he said I cannot do the 2nd round today because the carpet needs to dry up first. Then he said that he has another appointment between 5PM-7PM so he's already running late. BOTTOM LINE: Tim got done in 1.5 hours in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment and the stains are still there and the whole reason to get this carpet cleaned up was defeated. Not sure if this is a result of buying a discount coupon! He told me that the carpet is almost 10 yrs old so these stains won't go but than the problem is that my landlord may not be that convinced with this explanation. A couple good things about this company: 1. He atleast showed up 2. Overall, the appointment went smooth 3. He told me that he will back me up if my landlord is not convinced with my explanation for the quality of work. read more

They recently scheduled to come between 8 & 12 this morning. Never showed. Never called. Fortunately Amazon gladly made a refund. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across. I made my first appointment in which they did not even bother to show up to even though I called throughout the day to follow-up. He never returned any of my voicemails and even said he was on his way at one point (possibly to get me to stop calling). I called to complain a few days later and finally got a hold of someone and he was extremely apologetic so I decided to give him another chance. What I realized is that they are extremely disorganized so I decided it would be best if I sent text messages to confirm my second appointment. The second appointment was made for 3pm (he told me on the phone he would be done at the appt before by 2:30pm and would call me at that time). I started calling at 3:30pm and finally got a hold of him at 4pm. He still had not left wherever he was and was going to be another hour!!!!! How ridiculous!! I had planned my schedule around the appointment and was not about to wait around for another hour for him. I had a feeling he forgot again and who knows if he would even show up!!! Our carpet was in need of dire cleaning. We had stains from our children, and stains from our pets. We tried to use store bought cleaning machines and we were unsuccessful at removing the set-in stains. I've had Tim clean my carpet and upholstery twice in the past year. Both times he has done an excellent job. Carpet is clean and furniture looks like new! His equipment is portable which is great because my unit is not close enough to the street for a truck-mount. From the first contact to the end of the job there were wonderful! I have them twice now and both times the service was great. They arrived on time, did three rooms, my hall and stairs, and were done within two hours. I often hesitate using a new company because I am single and have to be extra careful of who comes into my home. But Andrew and Tim were both courteous and very nice. Both times they left my heavily soiled carpets looking amazing and no chemical smell behind. Another plus is that they will set up appointments and give pricing over email, which I prefer doing to taking time out to call and wait for a call back or deal with interruptions on my end.
