The end result is that she worked with my "socially awkward" pup to begin training service skills which have developed to assist me in my every day life. My health took a rapid down turn shortly after our sessions began but Dani was able to get enough training accomplished that my River helps me daily. I…read morejust needed a couple of visits on random days when I work doubles and my husband goes in for his 24hour shifts... so lady #1 comes to give my 2 dogs lunch, she came in, fed the pups, cleaned the cat box (super unexpected and well above and beyond) gave everyone treats and played with my babes for half an hour. She then also sent me pictures of my trio and raved about how sweet they are. Lady #2 came later on to feed my pups dinner and blew me away with again feeding, playing treating she organized the cats area and picked up my dogs waste from the day (exceptionally above and beyond), in addition to also sending pictures and boasting about my affectionate pups. I cannot say enough good things about Diego--he genuinely loves his job and animals, and for over a year, he has consistently treated my dogs as if they were his own (which I feel is especially important for those of us with dogs who have unique, more specialized issues). This time around, I came to Diego with a dog who is absolutely terrified of car rides, with anxiety so bad she throws up unless she is heavily medicated before driving. She had been to the vet several times and we were told this may just be something she (and we) would have to live with--that she may never outgrow it--and that medications like Cerenia and Trazodone would be necessary forever. Fast forward, Diego worked one-on-one with her to help bring her car anxiety to a more manageable level & gave us tools to help her do better on longer trips. This is her, out and about on a trip to look for Halloween decorations about a week ago. Still smiling after a 30 minute car ride!! This never would have been able to happen before Diego stepped in and worked with her! My other dog has also progressed substantially with his leash reactivity since Diego showed us the tools and techniques to properly address it. I truly could not recommend Avecillas Dog Services more! It is an absolute MUST for anyone with dog training needs!
