I received 3 deliveries from Pugh's in the last year. Each delivery was dead within 3 days. 2nd delivery had snap dragons that were wilted, and wide open roses. The arrangements were not creative to say the least. I called to speak to manager ; put on hold for 10 minutes then I hung up. This city has tons of wonderful florists that deliver fresh flowers; Pugh's is not on this list. read more

I ordered an arrangement of flowers on July 30th for a funeral on July 31st with 1-800-Flowers and what a nightmare it turned out to be. I was guaranteed by 1-800-Flowers that the arrangement would get to the funeral home in Memphis TN by noon the next day (Today July 31st). IT DID NOT and I did not find out until I called the funeral home at around 12:30 PM today to see if the flowers arrived and they had not. I then called 1-800-Flowers and that's when I found out that the order did not arrive at the funeral home. I got my refund and abruptly ended the call. I then called the funeral home to see if they could refer me to a flower shop that could fix up an arrangement within 1 hour and then deliver it to the funeral home. I was referred to Pugh's Flowers in Memphis because it was across the street from the funeral home and what a tremendous job they did. The young lady that helped me at the location off of Poplar Ave, Vickie, was excellent. From start to finish, she did a wonderful job in helping me and I will definitely call her from this point forward when I'm in need of flowers no matter what the cost is. Thank you very much Vickie. I've used Pugh's flowers for years and they've never let me down. What I love about the Southaven store is that they don't hound me awkwardly with inauthentic sales pitches. They know how to give me time and space to consider while asking questions to help ascertain what flowers or plants best fit the situation. I never feel like a burden either, which is also nice. I wish more stores had this human kind of approach to customer service. Would recommend them hands down to everyone! read more

Over a hundred dollar fresh arrangement was delivered to my front porch, there were two signs saying it was not an entrance. They wilted because they didn't read the two signs that would have kept them fresh. No one knocked on the door leaving the fresh flowers outside all afternoon and the evening until the sender called me to say to look for them. read more

Then instead of letting me answer her questions she was busy talking. She kept telling me what she needed instead of listening to my response and letting me answer the question. I was not impressed. I see that reviews are mixed for Pugh's, but I'm happy with them. I ordered flowers online to be delivered to my brother's hospital room on Saturday. On Sunday, he had still not received them, so I called Pugh's 888 number, and was told that they have to leave them at the reception desk for the floor (hospital's rules). My sister checked there, but no flowers. When I called Pugh's this morning, they assured me that the flowers had been delivered to the right floor of the right hospital, but since they had not made it to my brother's room, they are sending a replacement. I talked to one person yesterday and three today, and all of them were very nice. The third person I talked to today was because I had forgotten that he is now in a different room. When she checked, Pugh's had already called the hospital to verify the room number, and made the change. I'm confident that the flowers will get to him today. read more

If I could give them less than 1 star, I absolutely would. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with when ordering flowers. Literally dropped them by my fiancé's door, didn't ring the doorbell, knock on the door, or attempt to call her. This after they were delivered much later than than the promised time. My daughter and I were having a bridal shower for a friend. The day before the shower I ordered the Soft and Sweet corsage for the bride-to-be (since she is very petite. The corsage looked nothing like the online picture. The one Pugh's made looked very cheap and the ribbon looked very juvenile. I returned the corsage on the morning of the shower. When I explained my dissatisfaction with the look of the corsage, the employee at the florist created a new one that looked much more elegant. The bride-to-be was very happy with the corsage. I do not know the name of the Pugh's employee working on 03/02/19 at the Southaven location, but she provided excellent customer service. Thanks for making it right with no hassle. read more
