My daughter, who has self esteem issues had braces installed and the experience has been wonderful!! When I look at the cost and see all the work they do to ensure her teeth will be beautiful, it is all worth it. The ladies at the front are awesome, every time I've called or interacted with them face to face, they are extremely professional and kind. My daughter has had wonderful experiences with her nurses (except one who wasn't as friendly), they make sure she understands what to do, makes sure her wires are cut properly for comfort. I can have coffee, watch a movie in the theater or I can do my work at one of the tables. Recently, my daughter had a visit and received the kindest card from Tilghman Orthodontics!! She was so happy and it made me smile, because it's the little things that are so big!! If you need braces, this is the place to be. I am a Trans woman, I came to this place to get a cracked tooth fixed and I was in excruciating pain. The Staff was Ok, but as soon as I got in the chair the Dentist started in on me, expressing his disdain for my kind. He repeatedly called me sir even after I asked him to stop. I felt so powerless, in pain, stuck in this chair with a man who had absolutely no respect for who I was. When I was brought to tears and asked him to please stop berating me, his response was, "well you know I'm not doing it on purpose" He then started to lecture me on how tough us women were since we gave birth to babies and I should be able to handle anything. To top everything off, he broke my tooth in half and I was left with, "Well, I can't do anything about it now, you will have to go find a surgeon" He told me he couldn't prescribe pain pills so I was told to take tylenol for the pain.
