Dr. Mansourati and Nurse Practitioner Ducharme deliver competent clinical care and demonstrate solid medical expertise. Unfortunately, the administrative operations at this practice fall substantially below acceptable standards, fundamentally compromising the patient experience. In properly managed facilities, administrative personnel facilitate care rather than impede it. Here, routine interactions prove unnecessarily burdensome, and front office demeanor frequently registers as dismissive rather than patient-centered. When individuals are navigating health challenges, administrative friction compounds their burden and represents a failure of essential service. Particularly disheartening is watching capable clinical providers have their efforts consistently undermined by operational deficiencies. Healthcare demands collaboration across all levels. I woke up with pain radiating down my neck, spine, and arms to a point where I still can't move my upper body. I had been in to see Connie Ducharme a few months back for the same issue (less intense at the time). I called Fairlawn primary care this morning and asked for medication (not opiates) to help with the pain while I work on getting x-rays. I get a VM from Rebecca stating that my PA sent the script to a pharmacy I haven't used in years, which I had already updated with Fairlawn at my last visit, but THEY left it in the system. I called back and proceeded to ask if it could be transferred to my local pharmacy because I am in so much pain I can't drive long distances. I can't move my neck to switch lanes or sit up for long periods of time, etc. No empathy provided. Just Rebecca taking the phone and coming down my throat full force. Rebecca took the phone from the receptionist and proceeded to yell at me. "It's not Fairlawn's problem you have multiple pharmacies on file" - my response was "it was because I updated them during my last visit." I also reminded her that my prior medications a few months ago were sent to the correct CVS, why wasn't this one? She did not have any answers to my questions. She proceeded to say to me "every time you call you have an attitude." That is bullying and took me back. Especially because the last time I was in the office, Rebecca told me to drop her name if I wanted my boyfriend to become a patient, even though Fadi wasn't accepting anymore. Why extend that olive branch to a person that's always a problem? Gaslighting as its finest. Ethics complaint will be filed with the state when I am contacted with Rebecca's remaining details. Upholding patient autonomy, beneficence, and justice means respecting a patient's right to self-determination (autonomy), acting in their best interest (beneficence), and ensuring fair, equitable treatment for all (justice). My best interest was not acted in, Rebecca's was. Bullying me and threating to withhold medication is in direct violation with Rhode Island's Healthcare Ethics.

I never feel rushed with her, she always wants to hear, even if I'm complaining, explaining, or simply conversing about non- medical issues. And she remembers the conversations the next time I come and asks about them. I have never had a doctor like this before. I imagine this is how doctors used to be in the olden days. Granted, her old office with Dr. Deluca was cramped and scheduling was pretty terrible and I'm not sure why that was. Going to that office always had me disgruntled, but in the end, I couldn't give up on my doctor. I'm glad I didn't. I was told "Oh you're next" several times. I honestly felt like I was on a hidden camera show. Once in the office I waited another hour... for no physical. Only a "Hey how are you, nice to meet you. We are so busy, see the front desk to schedule your physical. I can refill your rx medication so have them fax me your old doctor's prescription!". This cost me $90. Beyond unacceptable. I then scheduled my physical... which was around 6 months. My refill did come up, and it was denied. Apparently I was supposed to go a Dermatologist? Never was told that, never given any information on that. Was told I was called (I would remember, and I see no emails or voicemails as of right now). The receptionist also said "oh we told the pharmacy", which wasn't true. The Pharmacy said it was denied with no reason given. I ended my term as patient (I genuinely feel like I wasn't one so no big loss) and honestly don't know if they cared. The medical assistant gleefully said "We can deactivate you as a patient!" Business must be good so they can treat new patients this way.

I see Dr Maude and my husband sees Dr Breiding - two of the nicest, most responsive and competent physicians as I have ever met. If one is actually ill, you get fit in to the schedule that very day! Sick on Saturday? On call MDs will tell you to come on over. Each MD has a nurse and a secretary. Ingrid and Robert are the nurses to our two doctors respectively. Each nurse could not be nicer. You are never kept waiting. Secretaries (mine is Linda) ALSO wonderful! These great folks make you feel comfortable and inspire confidence from the top down. Conveniently located on North Main Street near the Providence/Pawtucket line, there are parking lots on both sides of the building. I left a medical practice practically around the corner from my home in East Greenwich and choose to drive to North Main St to have these wonderful medical professionals take care of me! Five stars.

He doesn't treat your pain and everything is because of your weight. If I had listened to him regarding my heart issues I would have died. This inept POS completely missed my mitral valve that was torn almost in half. I went to another internist, because I didn't trust Meer and the new internist caught my heart valve issue on the first visit by comparing a new EKG to one in the records from Meer's office. He sent me immediately to a cardiologist who had a cardiac echo done that showed the torn valve. A few weeks later and I had open heart surgery to replace my mitral valve. Surgeon said if I had listened to Meer I'd be dead! Stay away from this guy unless you want to see the worst doctor in history!
