My best friend and I took the drive out to Montebello together, the salon was pretty easy to find even though we were unfamiliar with the area. As soon as we walked in the door, we were warmly welcomed by everyone. ALL of the people in this salon are fun and friendly. Judging by how busy they were, everyone here has a super loyal clientele. My friend was hoping for a haircut (she didn't have an appointment) but they were booked solid. Karen was the ultimate professional, she went over price with me as well as expectations before we started. I knew we couldn't change from black to blonde in one sitting, she gave me options for colors during my transitional phase. We decided on a dark plum. She was super chatty and very friendly throughout the whole process. She constantly checked on my hair while I was under the blow dryer to see how the process was going. I just can't say enough about her personality AND her skills. I am in the beauty business also and I know how rare it is to find someone who is both humble AND super talented! My hair has never looked so good! I got soooo many compliments that it's ridiculous. My hair still looks healthy and super shiny, even though it has been bleached.
