I wish I could give zero stars. I called Lynns towing inc after my car broke down, and what should have been a routine tow turned into a nightmare. During the tow, the driver caused severe damage to my car -- bad enough that my insurance company later declared it a total loss. I tried reaching out to the company multiple times to discuss what happened and to see if they would take responsibility. Unfortunately, I was met with unreturned calls, excuses, and a total lack of professionalism. Accidents can happen, but the way a company handles them says everything -- and in this case, their customer service and accountability were nonexistent. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. If you do end up using them, take pictures videos of your vehicle before they load it, because you may need that documentation later. read more

Criminal company. Towed us from our apartment building saying we were in the wrong spot, it was our first night at our apartment. Our apartment company called them saying there was a misunderstanding with the spots and we shouldn't be charged because our car should never have been towed. They charge over $600 right out the gate after having our car for less than 24 hours. I can't say enough about these guys JJ was great came out the day before to get a look at the cars we needed towed, told me a time they would show up and that it should only take a couple of hours, he kept his word showed up on time and only took a few hours they got all the cars out. They were very respectful, and mindful of the need. There was a total of 5 guys including JJ who showed up and got the job done. They were professional and very friendly from the initial call with Lisa to the end of the process.... Theft recovery I received a call from the police that My car was recovered. They asked if I could come get it or they would call a tow company. I asked if it would be expensive, and the officer said it was a simple tow and should be a regular fee. Lynn towing lied on the pickup time and charged me 2.0 hours for 10 min. Tow. The cashier Lisa, who claims to be an office manager, told me it takes an extra long time to process a stolen vehicle because the police have to process for fingerprints, etc. Another lie. This "tow" company is breaking the law and knows it. It is Washington State law RCW 46.55.060 that (7) A registered tow truck operator shall maintain personnel who can be contacted twenty-four hours a day to release impounded vehicles within a reasonable time. (8) A registered operator shall provide access to a telephone for any person redeeming a vehicle, at the time of redemption. They refuse to do this and therefore are breaking the law. My van was towed last night for no reason, I was in my spot space 5 at Berkeley Heights and all of a sudden my van was towed. This tow company will steal your vehicle and switch out vin numbers from other salvage vehicles. They are cons and scammers who stuff there pockets with cash in order not to pay taxes. Derrick steals the stuff left behind and sells it at garage sales. Check the plates if you buy something from the auctions they have. Took ours to WSP and found out it was stolen after we had put money into it to get it up and running. Amazed they are still in business. This company damaged my property, Lied to me and then blamed the young lady who's car was towed! While they were able to get the small car off the snowy roads and back to the house, Unfortunately they did not know their limits and now I have unsightly ruts running up my driveway! I was awoken that morning from a room in the back of the house due to the loud noice of the struggling tow truck. Brian had attempted to park the small car at the top of the driveway at the request of the car owner. However he could not! All he managed to do was damage my property & then park the car on the street. I spoke to the owner of Lynn's towing, Brian and he told me he was the driver of the tow truck that day. Brian describes himself an "expert". He stated he had years of experience and as the owner, he owned this 'successful' towing company and was the most experienced driver they had. When we talked he blamed the owner of the car, a young woman with NO tow truck driving experience who was just stuck in the snow. Brian told me basically she insisted so he 'had' to do it. I do appreciate a man who is intimidated by a young woman but seriously when your the expert you need to know your limits! I can't say enough good things about Lynn's! From Brian, the owner, to Lisa on dispatch, to all the drivers (Kevin in particular), everyone has been such a joy to work with. My car died on my birthday today so I called Lynn's to bring me from Kent Station to a nearby Les Schwab. Kevin showed up and was so incredibly nice. He got my car up on the lift quickly, helped try to diagnose the problem, and dropped my car off at Les Schwab in just a few minutes. When Les Schwab told me it would be about an hour, my roommate and I decided to grab an Uber and get her car. Kevin saw us outside and even offered to drive us home! My 16 y/o daughter was parked on a fire zone so I can't say her car being towed was foul play, however people are already stressed out enough sometimes coming in and having to pay almost $600 plus for a tow they didn't anticipate. Lisa the office manager has no respect for anyone, she is completely oblivious to life and how to treat others. I've never experienced a tow before so I had no clue what was going on or fees and upon going into the office she was so sarcastic and rude. She didn't explain things properly and was very short and abrasive with her responses. Lisa also rolled her eyes often during conversation and in so many words called me illiterate because I forgot to fill out the "time" of pick up. Lisa is a poor representation of a business and as a business owner myself I would never allow someone like her represent my business. Maybe she has some personal issues going on at home or with her family, in which that should be all the more reason she treats others with respect, because as she may have some things going on in her life others do as well! They got my car in, and didn't notify me till 6 days later. That ended up costing me 877 dollars. I was told to pick it up before 6 to avoid further costs. I parked in a parking lot owned by the "Dinh Building" in Kent, while attending a meeting in the adjacent building. There was no sign other than a "Lynn's Towing" sign in the lot. I saw that the first call went to Lynn's no more than 10 minutes after I parked, and the car was towed an hour later, about 10 minutes after I got out of my meeting. I called Lynn and she knew exactly what lot I was referring to, and explained that "a lot of trucks come in and out" of that lot, so that's why they need to keep it clear. After I paid over $350 to her for what amounted to a 1/2 mike tow I went back to the lot and watched. There are no trucks coming in and out. There is no proper posting of who is and is not authorized to park there. It's a big racket, and I assume Lynn is in on it and that she is making a hefty profit. I will fight it. read more
