I've visited Lynnwood twice and it's a great option for great beer and good food in the heart of Raleigh. The atmosphere is chill, there's plenty of seating, and the service has always been super friendly! I also enjoy their pub-style menu, with faves like burgers and a divine chicken sandwich I enjoyed on my most recent trip. Decent food, nice atmosphere, good service. Free 3 hour parking when you scan the QR code inside. I've only been here twice but I had a good impression. This is a nice spot to get together with friends or any group. In fact, both times that I've been here was with a group. The dry rub wings were pretty good, huge portion. Pretty light on the ranch so I'd ask for double the ranch if I ordered it again. Coleslaw was good! Trivia night on Wednesdays is fun if you're into that kinda thing! It's quite convenient. They're open late hours, which is nice too when you're traveling. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the overall atmosphere is awesome. Went here with my MBA buddies on a sunday night. One of them had 2 under 8 kids but this spot proved to be amazing! We were seated pretty quickly for a party of 10, and then we got service very promptly as well the ambiance was pretty chilled out that of a typical bar with sports and people chatting. We ordered the meat lovers pizza and the impossible burger with a side of their house chips and fries. The pizza was super crispy and crunchy and perfectly cooked. The meat was tender yet flavorful. The burger was a pretty nice size and had enough for 1.5 meal in it. I had to add some ketchup but it was nothing short of perfect. They had ample parking and was very easy to get to. Great brewery. The parking lot is now paid, but you can go inside the brewery and scan the QR code for 3 hours free. Went on a Sunday around 1 to watch NFL, and they had a handful of TV's playing the games. I ordered a flight for around $9.50 which was great. They also have QR codes on the table where you can order food from Wilson's eatery next door and they will deliver it to your table at LBC. We ordered the big pretzel and 6 Korean BBQ wings. Both were super good! There were plenty of indoor and outdoor tables to choose from. Overall, we enjoyed our beer, food, and atmosphere. read more

Pretty good beer but their best beers were their sours but they do not make good ones anymore. What happened to Asita Bueno or Aso Malo? Make one good one instead of two sub-par ones. I like Wilson's too but I never go because they always have the same pretty good beer, but not great. They said the sour market dried up - that's because nobody makes good ones. Westbrook sells theirs out every year even up here. Taste there sours and then make a better sour. Sours are still over the triangle so that statement is hilarious. Good sours sell, crappy ones do not. read more

Lynnwood is my go to local bar! Their pizza is my favorite around town! I know some will completely disagree with me, but I love it! The atmosphere is fun! It's a sports bar and exactly what you'd expect! Their beer is pretty good, and the have root beer on tap which is amazing! Just make sure to ask for no ice! The servers are always cool, this place is usually pretty busy so be patient! Only major critique is they need to carry so better BBQ sauce. read more

I was invited here for a meetup with an acquaintance. Only came here because it was a good halfway point between the both of us. The waitress was very pleasant, welcoming, nice, and accommodating. The food was subpar. I ordered a calzone and it wasn't hot enough. Lukewarm inside. Cooked too fast because when I got to the center it didn't have the same temperature. The flavor was okay. I've had way better from Food Lion's frozen section. This is a NO for me. Seems to be very low quality, which is to be expected for Brewery /sports bar vibes. The waiter took this to the 3* she was amazing but your waiters can't carry the experience to 4 or even 5 stars. The food needs to be improved here. Love this place! They somehow always have the right games on and have massive screens to watch. It's a nice space and is never too loud. The food comes from across the street but is sooo good. Lynwood Brewing Company and Wilson's Eatery are part of the same business.  Lynwood has the taps and Wilson's has the food and also the taps.  Lynwood Brewing Company is a wide open brew pub.  It reminds me of a college bar, with a whole lot of taps offering some good beer offerings. There is a lot of space here both inside and outside and they are dog friendly in case you like to have a meal and beer with your fur babies. To order food here, my best suggestion would be to just walk over to Wilson's and order for yourself, before ordering the beer. To order beer, you have to stand in line which is not optimal.  Luckily the line went fast. The BEER: Once you go black IPA 7% ABV...  my favorite beer here, malty dark IPA, yes, that is a thing and it is delicious.... FIRE Blonde Moment Belgian Ale 6.2% ABV... well balanced and great Belgian blonde ale Catalina Breeze double IPA 7.8% ABV... the label for this one should just be IPA, it is good Hop on Top west coast IPA 7% ABV... it's a west coast IPA Note to Self IPA 6.8% ABV... good, very hoppy Lynwood Brewing Company is not the best brewery in Raleigh. It is a great brewery, but if you only get a chance to visit one brewery in this area, there are better options. read more

Great beer- great atmosphere. Lots of room indoors and out. Food from next door was very good- we had the pork nachos and the pork was delicious. The right amount of toppings. Recommend the upgrade of avocado. Service was friendly and quick. Walk up to the bar- no table service. You order food from an app, and if you're sitting at a table that has a number they will bring it to you. Otherwise, you just walk in and pick it up when they text you it is ready. Food was ready before the time they promised, hot and delicious. Just a short distance from the Crabtree Creek trail. The road from the trail is wide and has a bike path part of the way, but the cars are fast so be careful. No bike racks that we saw, but plenty of objects to lock your bike to. read more

I actually like the beer options and the interior layout but I gave it 2 stars because I wasn't aware when entering or while I was there they consider themselves a "dog friendly" establishment (I am allergic) to the point where there were multiple dogs, in the one picture that has 2 dogs, after sniffing each others butts the Golden Retriever was allowed to stand up with front paws on the counter and licked/ate a treat off the counter the bartender provided-nasty! read more

I've been frequenting the Lynnwood off 70 for as long as I can remember, so I was really excited when LBC opened up. This space has a completely different feel from their other location - the doors to the taproom open like garage doors, and there are so many seating options inside and out. If you don't like dogs, this is most definitely not the place for you, but if you're a normal human there are plenty of pets to be given. I've been a few times before just for beers, but most recently I went with a friend to try their food (with a side of beers). Post-COVID restrictions, we opted to sit outside and had no trouble finding a table. You do have to go inside to order beers or food, but that's not a big deal. They have a ton of beer options for whatever you're craving, but it's a popular place and they sell out sometimes. Don't worry, they'll have something else you'll like. On a Saturday, the line for the bar was out the door, but it moved really quickly. Hop on Top is my fave if you like IPAs. I'll write a separate review for Wilson's, but their food is also on point! Hummingbird's is next door too if you prefer that instead. Love the atmosphere and the people you meet here - I'll be back very soon! read more

Lynwood has really stepped up its game since moving to the Five Points area! I love this brewery so much more than the original taproom up on Glenwood because it's much more open & there's lots of outdoor space. They've got 10-15 taps at least! If only they had food... but they sometimes have food trucks so that's a plus. Parking in the lot in front is easy on non-busy nights but can & will be challenging as they continue growing the area .... the Loading Dock is growing like crazy so LBC is a great addition! Love their new Hop Sauce 2.0 - it's so hazy & juicy... sooo much better than before. I also like how they have several of everything (a few of each: IPAs, stouts, wheats, pilsner, etc). The taproom vibe is usually pretty good, but it can get quite loud in there! I'm excited to try some of their barrel-aged stuff - you can see all the big barrels on the back wall & they're just exciting to know they're coming up soon. There are a few games to play over a good beer too. All in all, Lynwood Brewing is a great open spot for a good beer! IMHO, it's probably one of the better breweries in Raleigh because of their solid choices. read more

LBC is a great place to hang out with friends or sit on the patio at night! It has great vibes and quick service. This place is probably for beer drinkers only as they only have two seltzers on tap (not great IMO) and Austin Eastsiders dry cider. I am a beer gal so I loved this place. Beers are What you go here for! Back that Razz up is the best! The food not so good see from pictures. We sat at the bar the bartender was friendly. The pizza was mostly just crust very thin over cooked no flavor. We ordered a side of pico which took a while when she finally brought it to us it was in a one ounce little cup I was able to put it on one slice made the pizza a little better ( there was an up charge for the pico) there was only enough pico for the one slice. We took the extra slices home and a whole bag of crust for the dog. We will go back for the beer and to watch the games on the televisions we will eat before going. read more

I really like this place! I came today for the first time in many years. Although super hot, they have fans everywhere outside, and it's not TOO bad under the shade! It's dog friendly which is great, but I think it should be dog friendly inside - it's not like they serve food. I'm not a beer fan but today I had the "Back that Razz Up," and I would definitely drink it again. They have a huge selection of beer (obviously) for beer lovers. They do have wine, but nothing I wanted (understandable, it being a brewery, but it would still be nice to have bigger selection). I didn't see any food trucks today, but apparently they often come. However, there's a place that serves food just a few steps from the brewery called Wilson's and it's amazing! Some friends got food & I tried the fries, lettuce wraps, and nachos. All super amazing. You can actually place the order online & walk over to pick it up. Parking is great - a lot of space and no parallel parking necessary. Ha. I will definitely be back, especially in cooler weather! read more

Lynnwood Brewing Concern has a new space, although their beer has been around for a decade over at Lynnwood Grill in North Raleigh. This new brewery, located in an industrial part of Raleigh and around the corner from Big Boss Brewery, is already a strong contender in the Raleigh brewery scene. The space reminds me a lot of Raleigh Brewing Company from the outside. Plenty of (covered) outdoor standing room and a handful of picnic tables to enjoy the weather. Large garage doors allow the inside to get some of that air as well, in the one room, high ceilinged space. Once you walk through the front door, you'll be greeted by the bar on the right and tons of community tables on the left (in addition to a couple arcade games). Large windows allow you to see into the actual beer making space as well. You'll find over a dozen beers on tap as well as a small selection of wine and non-alcoholic root beer. Most pints cost $5.00 (Big Boss is down to $4.25 on most of there regular pints FYI) but you can also order a half-pint and 32oz and 64oz growler fills. They currently have daily specials and a rotating food truck special. I am a huge fan of Lynnwood's Hop on Top IPA, and definitely try the Hubris Imperial IPA when it's in season. With a beautiful space inside and out, friendly bartenders and solid beer, this brewery outranks surrounding spots easily, and could quickly become my new favorite spot on the outskirts of Raleigh. read more

Lynnwood Grill Restaurant has finally opened their taproom, Lynnwood Brewing Concern, in the space that was previously occupied by Blackjack Brewing Company. I do like what they have done with the space, lots of seating options, both inside and outside, and there are TV's behind the bar to cheer your team on! Boyfriend and I both got a flight of 4 beers for $6 which is a great price. Beer Flight 1 - Blonde Moment Belgian Blonde, Full Nelson Imperial Red Ale, Czech Yourself Pilsner and 5 Points Pale Ale The Blonde was definitely my favorite out of both flights and the Red Ale was the runner-up. Beer Flight 2 - Hop on Top IPA, Big Papi Porter, Coconut Porter and Kiss My Irish Stout I was not a fan of this flight, the Big Papi Porter was definitely my least favorite. I was disappointed in the Coconut Porter too, if you are looking for a good Coconut beer around the area then I recommend the Coconut Stout from Bombshell. Overall, the beers are so-so. I do recommend that you check this place out though since everyone has their own opinion of what a good beer is, you can even make a brewery day of it and walk to Sub Noir and Big Boss. read more
