Came here for an adoption event Lonerider hosted for TriBeagles, which seems to be a regular event. So, we bought some drinks and left with two new dogs. Lonerider was very accommodating and accessible for both humans and dogs. Let's talk about beer and cocktails. As I was DD, you'll have to take my spouse's word for the beer. He enjoyed a couple of IPA's on the menu, and they very kindly made me a mocktail for half the price (which I'm grateful for as the drive back to Northern VA is kind of long, and I don't need to get pulled over with two newly adopted beagles already scared for their lives.) The outlaw extra menu, which is made up of specialty kegs on tap, also had a good variety on it. The big screen with all the different beers currently available is pretty cool. And I like that there's a fridge stocked up with take home beers, too. Plenty of parking outside. The beer garden was packed full of people and dogs and pop-up shops, still with room to sit and enjoy a beer or two. Inside there was plenty of seating and room to move around without stepping on any paws. I love that a portion of the proceeds from these events always goes back to TriBeagles, and I'm thankful for local businesses supporting these precious dogs in finding homes by providing event space. I wish we lived closer, Lonerider. We'd be here all the time. read more

We had a retirement party here and it was wonderful. The space was intimate and welcoming. We brought some catered food in from Village Deli. But the star of the show was the bartender Lauren. The party ended up with more people than we expected but she kept the bar moving and drinks flowing! We were all super impressed with her! read more

Im from out of state and know zero about this place and friends we were with decided to stop by. I tried two of their beers and both did not taste fresh. The building is new and is very nicely decorated. I may have caught them at a bad time and next time might be better. read more

From the pictures I thought that this location was in a more secluded area but I was wrong, it's in a busy shopping center. The hideout is beautiful both inside and out. I tried a flight, you can choose four. I decided on the single malt & single hop, thoroughbred pale ale, eve amber ale and the hops you rode in on. Lonerider beer to me can be too hit or miss. A few things that I did not like were that there were a lot of kids running around, sinks and toilets were not functioning properly and no itemized receipt. I was not able to tell if we were charged correctly because we only got a receipt with the total, a person beside us had an issue because they were overcharged. This place is more like a daycare for children and a fun place for Grandpa. Family friendly, but definitely not for those who want kids running up to the bar playing with toy trucks. Go to Chuck-E-Cheese for that. Decent beer. read more

We are frequent patron's of Loneriders brewery off 70 and 540. Decided to stop by Hideout last night for a beer, and of course to checkout the new digs! And I must say, the bar is much nicer!! We ended up outside enjoying cornhole, beer (Shotgun Betty, Sweet Josie (they didnt have Nitro on tap), and my Favorite Eve (Amber Ale), and lastly...Virgil's Taco's out of their food truck in Hideouts parking lot. The back deck is also very nice, and Lola greeted everyone as they came out (see pic). They could use some umbrellas for the tables to keep the nuclear sun off their guests ...All in all, a very friendly staff, very nice joint, and amazing brews! read more

All they serve is beer, nothing else. Went there with my mom to watch a friend play and it had a really good atmosphere, not overly crowded. We got hot dogs from the food truck just outside, Rescue Dogs, and they were pretty good. Funny names for the food and matched the vibe of the location. The outside area is amazing! I didn't pay too much attention to the inside honestly. The drink menu was pretty limited but I'm pretty sure that's due to COVID. They had a spicy margarita and I asked some questions about it the bartender gave me a sample of the spicy mixed. I passed. She recommended a hard cider, which I tried but didn't like. Love this place. However, live electric music makes it too loud to be enjoyable. Acoustic is the way to go.

Fun place to have one of their many beers or another cocktail. Hit or miss with the food trucks but you can pick up and bring in or have delivered any food you want. We enjoy sitting outside in the evenings watching the people and the kids play. read more

The space is awesome, beer is good, and they have food trucks regularly. Even if a food truck cancels or you don't like whichever they have, there's a bunch of restaurants nearby. My only question is one bartender told me dogs were allowed inside and another told me only outside. I'm one of those people that love to have a beer and bring their dog to get them out of the house and some social interaction - so it would be nice to decide to just stop by and be able to go in and order a beer with my pup; not to mention most breweries and establishments that don't serve food do allow them both inside and out. The staff are knowledgeable and polite. The inside and outside areas offer plenty of seating with a fun atmosphere but still family and pet friendly. There's a rotating food truck schedule, weekend bands, and of course outstanding beer. They even distill their own bourbon. The Hideout has become my new hangout. read more
