I went online to their website southwayautosales.com and found they are a corporation of seven lots. I could look through around 176 cars, suv, and trucks. I found a 2014 Chevy Yukon I fell in love with. Southway does in house financing with a down payment. Dennis wrote me up with my down-payment the notes where very affordable for me. I picked my Yukon up with the temporary tag ready to drive. I have had it over a month now and I'm very satisfied and proud of my purchase. We financed a truck at this dealership and traded in our previous truck. We assumed, like every…read moreother dealership would typically do, that the dealership would quickly pay off the loan on our trade-in vehicle. Unfortunately, it has now been over a month later and the dealership refuses to pay it off. As a result, we have been forced to make payments on both our new truck and the truck we no longer own. Despite multiple calls made to the finance manager and the dealership manager, we are now facing a second month of double payments because the dealership continues to avoid paying off the loan. To make matters worse, the finance manager advised us NOT to make the monthly payment on the traded-in vehicle, and that if it negatively affected our credit, "our score should come back up once the vehicle is actually paid off". We then spoke to the bank, who stated not only would it negatively affect our credit, the reimbursement would not include the interest paid as part of the vehicle payments. Ultimately, we are forced to pay the payments and lose the interest money because of the dealership's failure to come through. My husband and I have purchased well over a dozen vehicles from other dealerships over the years and have never encountered this problem. I would highly recommend anyone looking to trade in and/or finance a vehicle should avoid this dealership and their shady business practices.

We test drove it and were in the final stages of buying it when they pulled the deal because another customer (who came in after us) agreed to pay a higher price. It was obvious they stalled our sale until the other customer finished their drive to see if they could get more money. Not only that, but the car was listed as having no accidents, but when the carfax was pulled, it showed an accident with moderate damage. Avoid this dealership - they have shady business practices.

Suddenly our pick up issued an overheating warning and we had to pull off to the side of a busy I-65 highway. After quickly checking for tow and repair companies, I called AR Towing & Repairs. Alfonso and his daughter, Ruby, thankful answered and came out immediately. We had a shredded fan belt. They drove us back to his shop, offered us chairs and water and got to work. Within 90 minutes, our truck was fixed AND he checked the rest of the engine compartment to make sure nothing else was damaged. He then took it for a test drive to make sure all was working correctly. We were blessed that our truck stopped where it did. We met good people and are thankful for their expertise!! Alfonso was the only mechanic who responded right away and came to our location immediately. After I explained the issue, Alfonso quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to repair the vehicle on the spot. He took his time to carefully check the car and made sure there were no other issues before sending us back on the highway. Alfonso was truly a lifesaver!
