If you've not been, the place is set up like a sports bar with loud televisions w sport games on loop. My hairdresser was friendly and super nice. Since it was my first time here, I was getting the upgrade VIP service for free ( Normally a $7 add-on) which included hot towel, massage and shampoo. What's most important to me when getting a haircut is how the hair is blended so it's looks uniform and not blocky 2 days after the cut. I watched as very basic techniques were used and In 9 minutes-My cut was done. The part was uneven and the sides were simply shaved #2. The VIP treatment-oh boy. A screaming hot towel was wrapped over my face. Claustrophobic immediately as I found it hard to breathe. Then my chair starts vibrating and my hair guy has a hand massager working in my neck and shoulders. The first thing I thought of "My personal space is being invaded!" Super weird for a haircut. The shampoo. Oh Lordy. The shampoo. I get this shampooing that's way too much. Thumbs, hot water and a vibrating chair galore. This is wholeheartedly not how I'd ever wash my hair.
