If you're ever suffering from carb withdrawal then Leche Desserts has the antidote for you!! Their donuts are doughy as in it won't melt into nothingness like Krispy Kremes, they're more on the bready side if that makes sense! If you want to order, I recommend calling them and ordering by phone because they had an off the menu flavor--the Oreo cream, that you can't order through food delivery apps and it's not listed on their website. The Oreo cream was my favorite along with the raspberry cream cheese!! They had a perfect balance of sweet frosting indulgence to donut ratio. The cream in the Oreo donut was less sweet so it was just right. The butter vanilla ones were the very bready donuts but good nevertheless. As for the Boston cream, it's normally my hubby's favorite but we both found that either the chocolate was too bitter or the custard could've been sweeter to balance the flavors.

Not the first time trying this place but it was my first time actually inside the store. The set up is very cute and unique, I would love to return to sit there once restaurants open up again. This place has very unique doughnut flavours that change quite often. What I also love is that they have plenty of vegan options! This includes raspberry filled doughnut, almond rose water, and coconut lime. I wasn't too keen on the almond rose water but the flower taste was not overwhelming and very good. The non-vegan chocolate sesame doughnut was delicious and rich. If you like fluffy doughnuts this is the place to get them from. A little on the pricy side, it was $18.50 for half a dozen but they're great quality.

I have been to Léché Desserts many many times!!! The best quality of donuts will be found. Today, I am in the mode of lazy Sunday... since UberEATS deliver from Léché Desserts... we order a pack of 6. It is hard to resist not to finish all of them in one sitting but I thought hard about my behind...;). The dough of the donut is super light and fluffy... so delicious! There are so many flavors of them, personal favorites are white chocolate and brownie. For me, this is best donut shop in Montreal. Since the quality of the donuts are superior, expect the price to be hefty.

The smell of wonderfully fresh donuts surrounds you the moment you step into @lechedesserts and you can easily taste it as well. A very soft, moist dough desintergrates in your mouth as you chomp down on these tempting, expertly prepared gourmet donuts ans release the intense flavours of either the silky glaze/icing or enticing filling.

While on a visit to The BEAUTIFUL Montreal city , I take a walking tour . My gracious tour guide gave me Leche' Deserts as a donut favorite . I like donuts ! My travels have lead me to some of the best donuts . I check to see if Leche' is open . It's is indeed open. I grab a Uber from Old Port . I call the number listed for Leche' Deserts. No answer. . $20.00 later I arrive , only to find a closed sign on the door. I encounter a Leche Desert employee moving something's inside . I explain that I have taken a car to the place and I even called. It's listed as open on a few sites. Including YELP. The employee acts as if I can't read the sign and moves past me . I ask if this is the attitude . With no response . I wait for another uber. 6 other people arrive to disappointment.

Boyfriend and I completed a 52 hike challenge last year. This might look backwards but we decided to do something we love more...donuts! This year we are going to do 52 different donut shops in 52 weeks. Shop 1 - Léché Desserts in Montreal, Canada We trekked through the snow to get here. Boy were we excited. Sadly, they ran out on a lot of the good ones. Boyfriend got the passionfruit and I got the maple. Maple was typical and alright but damn was the passionfruit good. He was sweet and gave me the bigger piece. I want more!! #Maple vs. #Passionfruit () #DonutShopOne #52DonutChallenge #WeJustDonutGiveADamn #GringoAndAChina #Doughnuts #Donuts

I think I bought a dozen donuts in two occasions. The quality is there. The donuts are fluffy and it is clear they have a lot of rich ingredients. The price is not there. Way too expansive. The staff was a bit annoyed that I was figuring out what to order. Not much of an issue but when you are paying that much, you get very sensitive how you are welcomed. My guess is that most of their customers are from Westmount and are indifferent of their prices.

Bought 6 donuts last week. They didn't have the two flavours I wanted when I called in advance (apple and pumpkin) so it was already a bit disappointing. We ate them the next day and I was not too impressed to be honest. I found the donuts a bit dry and the flavours I had were ok.

    Little box of happiness!

This quaint little bakery in St Henri offers a variety of freshly made doughnuts in a variety of fun flavours. The doughnuts themselves are huge and I simply love the airy and fluffiness of their dough, which isn't surprisingly sweet. The filling and toppings are super delicious and yes, sweet, which adds a nice balance. I can't say I have a favourite but I do prefer the filled doughnuts. Their filled doughnuts are outstanding; lots of filling and really tasty. From the Boston Cream to the Lemon Meringue, one is more than enough to fill you up. They also have a variety of vegan doughnuts that are just as good, like one my other faves, the peanut butter and jelly. The space itself is small and offers limited seating with just a table in the back but in the summer months they have picnic tables in the front where you can sit and enjoy your dessert with a coffee. Yes, there's coffee! There's also salad and sandwiches, and juices, perfect for a nice lunch. This spot is my go to for doughnuts, not only cause it's close to my place, but because of the quality and deliciousness of their baked goods. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because of the price; one doughnut will set you back about 4$ but they are so worth it!

This place has delicious homemade donuts. In fact, I just ate one and a half... and I can't move as I type this review. My wife and I split a Boston cream and a raspberry filled, but she quit on me after a half. No problem--I'll take one for the team. The donuts at Léché Desserts are just a touch less sweet than donuts from a chain, which I like. Granted, $3.50 for a glazed donut and $4.00 for a filled option may seem pricey, but they're scrumptious. And who has a donut every day? The store has seating for about 10 people at tables, and another 6 along a counter. It's a comfortable place with frickin delicious donuts. What else do you need to know?

    Nice store

Speed of service not a priority but it is after all a gentrified area of town ... not like the old days ... get in pay up and get out ... product was good

Dude, do you fucking Canadians even Yelp bro? This place is the motherfuckin shiznit and at 16 reviews I would've thought otherwise too. But no, I was wrong just like you for not posting more reviews. You lazy Canucks. Nestled in a building not far from the wrong side of the tracks (literally) I nearly tripped even though my dumb 'murica self did not see the huge sign in English that says to watch my step. We got a bakers dozen and I'm going to make love to them later and make my own icing. God bless 'murica

Leche Desserts is a small little retro-esque bakery and coffee shop that specializes in gourmet donuts. I really liked reading about their mission and values, such as appreciating teamwork, giving back to the community, and supporting women causes. Located in the St. Henri neighborhood, a variety of donut flavors are offered, such as Lime Coconut, Boston Cream, Peanut Butter & Jam, Maple Glaze, White Chocolate, etc. I tried the Grapefruit Poppyseed, the Berry Cheesecake, and the Creamsicle. I was actually pretty disappointed with all of them, as while the donuts themselves looked large, fluffy, and pretty, the taste was dry/stale-like, starchy, and did not even taste anything to that of the flavor chosen. The taste was just too subtle, and it was a let-down T___T The bakery itself seemed cute, and it was a little hard to find, as it was situated in an older building off of Rue de Courcelle. The staff were also not too friendly, and when inquired about the different flavors that they had in the case, it seemed like it was a chore. Maybe offering labels for each of the donuts, perhaps? Getting here was a bit out of the way for me, and ultimately, not worth it. +not-so-friendly staff T___T +dry/stale-like, flavorless donuts T___T +situated in an older building off of Rue de Courcelle

I was intrigued, and since I can always go for some carbs I decided to head in and check this place out. Unlike most bakeries I visited, Boulangerie Guillaume has a much more modern look, and is larger than a standard bakery. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by stairs which led up to the main production area. All of the bakes were arranged on the back-wall perimeter of the space separated from the pedestrians by a glass wall. The color scheme was mostly black to contrast the bright yellow of the bags and signage. The arrangement of the bakes, combined with the color scheme and modern aesthetics, resulted in a stunning, visually striking presentation. I wasn't too hungry, but I can always go for some sweets and their date square looked good. I went with that, along with a cappuccino. The square was delicious - the dates were high quality, and the crust underneath was moist while maintaining its integrity. The cappuccino was also good, a great complement to the bake. Service was efficient, and overall I had a great experience at Boulangerie Guillaume. I definitely want to return to explore more of their menu - I noticed they had some savory items so perhaps for some lunch. Definitely one of the best bakeries I visited in Montreal.

The reviews looked great, so we made our way over for some bakes. I assume La Cave gets its name from the fact that you are kinda entering a cave. The bakery is located in a basement surrounded in stone both on the exterior and interior. The bakery isn't large, but it's arranged in a way that foot traffic flows well. They have a good variety of bakes, though we were there relatively late in the day so some had already run out. Despite that, we had several to choose from. We decided to go with the ham and cheese croissant and one of their stuffed croissants. The former was pretty standard - there's wasn't a lot of ham but the flavor was there. The latter was one of those viral circular croissants that have been popular on social media; they had three flavors and I went with the lemon meringue. It was pretty good - it had a good ratio of stuffing to pastry and the lemon curd had a bright flavor. Service as good, the team was eager to help and super efficient. Overall, I had a good experience at La Cave a Manger - there are definitely some good bakes here and I wouldn't hesitate to return to try more of their menu.

The Long Version: So I had never heard of Rossetti before. They didn't exist when I was living in Montreal (the 2000s) and after I left, my husband (who was still my boyfriend at the beginning) and I would return often (at least a few times a year until 2019) and I'm pretty sure they weren't around then. We took a few years hiatus from visiting Montreal and then when we returned in 2024, boom, Rossetti had 4 different locations in the downtown core! What's their origin story? I have no idea. Their website has no "About Us" section. All I know is they opened sometime between 2020 and 2024, lol. I tried their caramel eclair ($5.50). The caramel icing was really tasty, but I found the choux pastry and the custard filling a bit dry. They have cannoli, amaretti, financiers, croissants and tarts. They also have sandwiches and pizza. I was disappointed that they didn't have sfogliatella, my favourite Italian pastry. Oh, they also have coffees and teas. The interior is nice with seating to dine in. Service was neutral. I may return to try another item. Maybe at one of their other locations. Review #16 (2025)

While in Miami last year, my husband, mother-in-law and I became big fans of the Rosetta on lower Collins Ave and then once they opened the one by Lincoln Center in NYC, we began to visit that one often since it's walking distance. After climbing to the Kondiaronk Belvedere on Mont Royal, we decided we needed sustenance on our way back down and we spied Rosetti as we were walking back to our hotel. Since it looked very similar to Rosetta, we decided to stop in and grab a bite. The sandwiches and pastries were on full display and we knew we made a good choice. I had a Pizza Margherita which was huge...I could have shared it. I also had a caramel tart for a sweet treat afterwards. Others in the group had sandwiches and other sweets which they all enjoyed. There are some stools at a counter downstairs and a little more seating upstairs with a few low tables along with some high tops and counters. The ladies who worked there were very nice. We enjoyed our food and think it's a great place for a quick bite that's a bit elevated from traditional fast food.
